after a long day of winter training, there was only one thing seungwoo pictured himself doing and only place he wanted to go to. his arms were full with a bag of take-out friend chicken in one hand and a six-pack of beer in the other but his mother did always taught him to never go to another person’s house empty-handed. he waited eagerly for the apartment door to be opened both from the excitement of seeing her and the prospect of being toasty warm. “yah, how long are you going to keep me waiting out here?” he whined, knowing that aegyo was always effective on her. he smiled hearing the rustle of activity from behind the door and all but grinned when it did finally open. “before you complain about me coming her unannounced, i just want you to know that i got us your favorites so you should really think twice before deciding not to let me in.”

PLOT: he’s been lied to and he hopes to find some solace (and possibly distraction) at friend’s house

As soon as he pulled the cup of matcha latte away from his lips, a pout reappeared on his face. His favourite drink was supposed to be a distraction from the sad reality of being lied to but it couldn’t take his mind off of it for too long. Finally, he broke and after putting the cup on the table in front of him, he pulled his legs up to hug them and complained to his friend. “You know Claptrap from Borderland? So, Bomin said he’d make one like that for me... and then...” the pained expression on his face grew, “the next day he handed me a box with a badly drawn design and congratulated me on obtaining my first very own robot companion.” How was he to recover after such a blow. “One day I’ll raise an army of robots to go after his sorry ass.”

his parents didn’t want him to become a trainee so they made a deal with him that if he hadn’t debut within 10 years, then he had to come back home and help run his father’s dojang. distich debut in his 8th year of training

minjae takes his duty as one of distich’s leaders very seriously, and is determined to make sure that distich becomes one of those groups that younger idols look up to and is remembered for years to come.
