Flurry by @eeveekitti VERSUS Specks of Feathers by @soaricarus - Round 1 Set 3
Flurry- Description:
i don't really have anything for a campaign, since she's being used for a comic, but i think she'd play similarly to rivulet with the speed but survivor in other categories. idk she's not meant to be in actual rain world
Story:
Flurry is a wild slugcat born to The Guide alongside her sister Fennel. So far they've essentially had to raise themselves in a region of my own making-- The Voidlands, or more specifically, the Acid Wastes subregion-- with a few mishaps along the way. I can't say much else without spoiling my own story, but she does witness The Horrors.
Fun Facts:
SOMETHING is neurodivergent about that slugkitty. also she is very cute and i will draw her with big ol eyes if she wins even One poll. she means so much to me guys you have no idea
Specks of Feathers- description:
miros birds are neutral to specks unless around them for an extended amount of time; they're extremely quick and quiet in order to avoid miros birds.
Story:
specks of feathers is a small, not purposed slugcat that somehow managed to live in the structure of shattered omens [an iterator oc owned by @/pinkavtomation] alongside endless, a 17 year old ancient who... got echoed and holds bitter resentment towards omens for what she did to them. specks is their friend that kept them company all through that time of not going near omens. specks themself is wary of omens; and even moreso of the miros bird she keeps.
Fun Facts:
specks of feathers is connected to two ocs [shattered omens, an iterator owned by @/pinkavtomation and endless sky, looping sea, an ancient/echo owned by me] who already have a bunch of lore and they're two friends - one bitter over [what they perceive as] the other's betrayal and neglect of them as their parents had, the other preaching ascension being salvation... at least until their old friend seems to reappear! :]

actually when someone makes that clean a cut shot you have to apprechiate it even if the person making it is on the other team

Accessibility tip:
If you want to automate your home a bit, but you don't want any "smart" tech, you can just buy remote controlled power sockets instead
They are a lot cheaper and easier to set up and use than some home automation smart tech nonsense
They don't need an app (but some models come with optional apps and there are apps that are compatible with most of these)
Many of them use the 433mhz frequency to communicate, which makes most models compatible with each other, even if they are from different manufacturers
The tech has been around for a long time and will be around for a long time to come
You don't have to put any fucking corporate listening devices like an amazon echo in your home
Models for outdoors exist as well

Echo (The prototype) by @beetled-juicer VERSUS The Engineer by @d3r34l1z4cja - Round 1 Set 3
Echo - Description:
Stats aren't much different from survivor, requires more food, vegetarian
Projects warnings and tips to think / organise thoughts and stay safe
+ Critical thinking
Too much physical labour can cause their back compartment to overheat and start to burn them, rest or find water to cool down quickly. (A rare occurance, it takes a lot of exercise to get to this point. Water will hiss and boil around them if it gets too bad)
If their compartment gets damaged via lizard bite, salvage small pieces of metal to fix yourself. Projections become audibly loud and unreadable, more likely to exhaust yourself like this. 10% probability after escaping a lizard bite
Story:
They're an early version of an overseer, a prototype or some kind of experiment cast out when a more efficient design was discovered. They search for a purpose (an iterator to belong to). They may not be able to move as efficiently or teleport but they can interact with the world around them unlike regular overseers
Fun Facts:
As a prototype, their projections/holograms are slightly different from overseers, they always have a border around them :)
The Engineer - Description:
Good: High agility, crafting, can cause an electric stun (lasts longer for mechanical critters), can see routes that lead directly to the iterators rather than going through the maze Bad: Starts in Sky Islands, low strength
I don't know what the stats are though unfortunately
Story:
The Engineer is a purposed organism used to deliver messages between iterators, as well as upkeep them.
Fun Facts:
I don't actually have much lore for them! I know they get along well with the scavs and such.
But they're so nice! They're really helpful, and almost always fidgeting with building stuff.
