Everyone in this damned school annoys me. My classmates, my teammates, my teachers, the principal, and even the people in my gang. They either hate me or despise me. Well, look who hates them back, bitch. Glares were sent my way, and the seats next to me always empty, having to scare someone into being my partner for PE. The list can go just as long as James Bond’s hit list. I was sitting in the worst situation possible. Aka, science class in the stuffy classroom on a Tuesday afternoon. Everyone either wants to die or go home. Screw the difference between animal cells and plant cells. Screw microscopes. Screw atoms.

I sighed, leaning my head on my arm and not reacting as I hear my black pen fall on the ground for the 163rd time. My science book was open to a blank page, remembering that I had to write down whatever the stupid teacher was blabbing on about. I started nodding off, the heat of the classroom paired with the droning background noise of my monotone teacher made my eyes start to close. A sudden knock on the classroom’s sliding door jolted me out of my sleep-induced trance. The door opened at the call of the teacher and someone entered. Not that I cared, but I’d just never seen him before. Sleepy, ox-brown eyes that were half shut, droopy white hair that almost covered his eyes and must be too long for the school’s regulations. He walked in, dragging his feet into the class and lazily looking around. His eyes locked onto the empty seat next to me and he begrudgingly plopped his stuff down on the desk and slid onto the seat. His movements were very similar to a sloth, I noticed. But whatever. Just another NPC in the amazing story of how Jingo Raichi became Japan’s best army official. I focus my already little attention back on the teacher, huffing through my nose to show my disinterest. My ear twitched as I heard a quiet rustling sound from next to me, and I turned to see what it was. The sloth boy had sneaked a small loaf of bread and was eating it behind an upturned book. He must’ve noticed my staring and he broke a small piece of bread off and slowly held it out to me, eyes still looking down at the bread. I jolted for the second time, staring at the piece that was held out to me. Kindness and generosity were things that people usually saves for others they liked. I don’t know why, out of politeness I assumed, I took the piece of bread with a gravelly “thanks” and popped it into my mouth. It tasted like, unsurprisingly, bread. The sloth boy slowly drew his hand back and resumed chewing on his little bread loaf. What the fuck just happened??? I started playing with the black earring on my left ear, deep in thought. Clearly, this class is too boring to be thinking about anything other than the soft, sloth-looking boy next to me. It must’ve been a while since someone gave me food without me having to punch them first. I winced a bit, remembering the time when I saw the brown-haired boy have a better lunch than me so I beat him up to get it. His name is Kuon, I think. We must’ve been friends. He always avoided me after that, though. Not that I cared, all the people here are just jealous stepping stones for my greatness.

“Oi.” I whisper-yelled. The sleepy boy slowly inched his head towards my direction. His ox-like eyes were still glued to his bread, which was slowly dwindling in size. He made a soft, low “hm?” sound, but it was so quiet that if he didn’t move his head an inch then I would’ve thought that he didn’t hear me. A vein pulsed in my head and a small spike of annoyance hit me when he didn’t even bother to look over. I harshly pulled him towards me by his light-grey hoodie until my mouth was inches from his ear. His eyes kept staring at the bread. I narrowed my eyes, hoping that I looked intimidating as usual.

“What’s your damn name, sloth boy?”

“Roses are red, violets are blue,” he muttered, “If I had a brick, I would throw it at you.”

Although he can find it bothersome sometimes, he loves it when you ask for his help to reach things that you can’t get to sometimes He would purposely put stuff that you normally use on the top shelf just so you would ask for his help

Also would give him a huge ego boost whenever he is reminded of the height difference

"NAGI! stop eating the pecans!" Reo leaped across the kitchen, stealing the bowl from your boyfriend, who was currently laying halfway on the counter and sitting on a chair. The roasted pecans slowly being picked away by him.

"Reo.. just hand me the pecans, we still gotta cut them up." Today, you were making chocolate turtles.. and to mix it up, you found the cutest dove molds. So chocolate turtle doves! Sounds adorable right? Not cute enough for Nagi to want to actually do anything but it's fine, that's was Reo was for. Reo handed you the bowl, pouring them up you began chopping while Reo washed the dishes.

"Sei, my dearest sloth, would you please get the caramel from the cabinet?" The snow haired boy lifted his head at the sound of his nickname. He nodded his head slightly before slowly dragging himself off the chair and to the cabinet. Opening up the cabinet and grabbing the bag of soft caramel you had purchased. Sometimes Nagi never understood you.. Reo was more than willing to buy everything you could want for you but you just wanted to buy it yourself. Opening the bag and stealing one of the candies as he sat back down.

"thank you!" You hummed as Reo whipped off his hands and grabbed the bag of caramel, pouring the candies into the pot to melt. You pouted ever so slightly as you read over the ingredients, running to the fridge to grab the condensed milk. Measuring out everything and mixing it together to make the other part of it. Now you just needed the caramel. You did start to temper the chocolate however, wanting to be well prepared for anything.

Unbeknownst to you, Nagi had given up on chewing the caramel, and having gone back to the now chopped up pecans. He should agree to stay while you bake more often, he gets food and doesn't have to go through the hassle of preparing it himself. Plus, he got to hang out with you. His favorite things in the world, you, soccer, and no hassle. Maybe Reo on a good day but you never know.

"Nagi! Again, we need those!" You heard Reo say from behind you. You were facing the stove top, melting down chocolate, Reo, by the sound of it, was trying to pour in the caramel. You heard some shuffling,and then you were forced to slump over. Nagi currently leaning on you.

"Sei... Come on now" you huffed, trying not to be pushed into the chocolate. He just grunted in response, Reo being kind enough to you to pull him off. From the corner of your eyes, you could see the heartbroken look in eyes. But nevertheless, you must prevail and resist the urge to comfort him. Pouring the melted chocolate into the molds of the doves, then tapping it to create a shell you hummed.

"were... We're supposed to freeze the turtle first." You heard Reos voice, you paused... Well shit.

"... We're gonna improvi-"

"Nagi Seshiro stop eating the turtle!!!!" Reo shouted once more causing you to spin around and finishing off whatever turtle remained on his fingers. He didn't even rush, making sure to take his time while cleaning off his fingers. You huffed, grabbing the bowl and putting the unfrozen turtle into the half molds, then melting down the other side and attaching it before putting in the freezer.

"how long until we can eat them?" Nagi voiced from over your shoulder.

"You're still hungry?" You shut the freezer and turned to him, Reo occupied by dishes once more.

"Mhm." He nodded, staring at you with half lidded eyes as he sucked on a spoon, specifically the one used to mix the chocolate.

"okay well.. Enough of that, and in about... An hour?" You took the spoon from him and tossed it in the sink. Suddenly becoming something for him to slump against, just when you thought that's how bad it would get, he pulled out his phone. Not bothering to turn down the blasting noise of the game. Resting on the sofa, Nagi rests his head in your lap. You let yourself slowly drift off... Baking was harder than it looked.

You awoke after a couple of minutes.. or maybe a few more than a couple, later. Reo gone, and Nagi currently playing a game while eating one of the doves. "Didn't care to wake me up?"

"Reo told me to let you sleep." He replied, immediately shoving the last part of the dove into your mouth.

"ac- Mm.. thanks Sei." You spoke after you managed to chew the dove, thankfully it worked out better than you had initially guessed. You chuckled as he whipped away some of the excess chocolate from your bottom lip. "Your adorable Sei"

"says you,... But thanks Y/n"

Travel Habits

Barou Shouei ⚽🖤

There are several things Barou packs to prepare for traveling the country or the world. The first being his trust lemon scented bleach wipes, his own pillow, and most importantly your body wash.

Using it after every game not caring that the scent is soft, floral and sweet. It makes the sheets smell like you, well almost. It is missing you of course but it's as close as he can get. Letting the smell wash over his tired body and he'll fall asleep arms curled around the pillow as he sleeps on it as he would after every home game. His face buried into your chest or throat because you're the only thing that can make him relax. He'll want to video chat no matter what time it is for you or him, he just wants to hear about your day before he falls asleep. Besides you didn't mind seeing his sleepy, grumpy glare illuminated by the light of his phone even if it was 3am for you.

Nagi Seshiro ⚽🖤

Without a doubt Nagi only cares about two things in his bag, his phone and it's charger. Occasionally he'll bring his switch but he's mostly on his phone. There are mobile games to be played and highlights to be watched! He learns the hard way that these drain his battery so quickly so when you got him a battery pack for his phone and a small charging cord that had one of those cute animals protecting the cord by the prongs he brings it with him everywhere. Mostly because he doesn't want his phone to die so he can text you but a lot of it has to do with the way his thumb swipes over the sleeping cat that's lying on its stomach with the charger coming out of it's mouth. How that little squishy animal reminds him of you.

Kunigami Rensuke ⚽🖤

Kunigami always packs extra jerseys for himself. Since he gives the sweaty fabric away after every game and sometimes after a really good goal, even if it's barely ten minutes into the first half. Especially keeps extras after he gave away his jersey and the one back up the team had on hand for him, obviously unable to play the rest of the game shirtless, much to the fan's disappointment.

The other thing he always packs is his muscle roller. Having been stopped before for wanting to bring weights onto the plane, he figured a foam roller wasn't threatening at all. Besides his sore and tight muscles would need it after a good match. Rolling out his hamstring and quad not knowing how many people would PAY to see footage of that. But you're the only one in the world who gets to see it on video chat, trying so hard to focus on him telling you the highlights when all you can see is the fresh sweat dripping down his abs.

Bachria Meguru ⚽🖤

Always has a fluffy blanket, the one you made him, so he can wrap up on the bus or plane and fall right asleep. Not that he had any issues with sleeping wherever his head lies but there was something about the soft fabric you wove together for him that makes his sleep that much deeper. Even going as far as spraying your expensive perfume on the blanket so he can smell you the entire time he's gone.

The other thing he brings is a Polaroid camera, probably the only artsy thing he picked up from his mom was his eye for things. Snapping shots during training or of the view from his hotel room so he could show you in person. You always loved the photos he took but he never saw your eyes light up brighter than after the trip he lost his phone on the plane and bought a disposable camera so he could show you the city he was in. Curled up under the blanket as you excitedly watched him move through the physical photos. So if he forgot his polaroid you best believe he's scouring every store for the outdated disposable cameras.
