Something of a follow up from the contributor who helped show the connections between the PCU/ACU and the Lordamere Rangers. What we have here however is a new trend. Guilds made by people inside the ACU yet officially are not part of it. Currently it stands as a Blood Knight Guild, Troll Guild and Alliance Mercenary Guild respectively. What we find most curious is their guild leaders are all people with active connections in the ACU.

On top of being Ilnys of the Eternal Sisterhood, Reldrin is also Vaelene/Belera/Vathnera of the Highblood Myrmidons. Quite the extensive roots in the ACU structure over all.

Matthew would be otherwise a difficult find had they not carelessly dropped their Discord handle which had a very interesting name attached to it. Lawson is one of the “old guard” of the Rotgarde and a highly prolific member of the ACU.

Finally the Primal Pact is headed by Arcstrider, known as Serpentrider within the Pandaren ACU guild, Ronin. Also more well known as Beniboi, formerly of the Painted Shields.

All of this raises a number of questions. Are these to be taken as “defections” from the “PCU” brand? After all it has been Nine months since Perroy has made any sort of appearance publicly and has at most done scant appearances in private. To continue using the vanity tag of someone who has been not only embroiled in eternal controversy for years and then carried that toxic brand with him onto other games does make us wonder if the more sensible members of the “PCU” brand have decided to abandon the toxic associations entirely. A more sinister, though we do concede less likely, possibility is that these players have dropped the tag to better infiltrate the wider RP community, seeing that carrying such a metaphorical neon sign makes it harder for them to do ill-deeds. However we are of the opinion that the former is more likely a reason. People who are tired with the endless controversy and the trouble that the higher rank members of the ACU/PCU have brought on them by association. So we welcome this move, if it means these new guilds are moving to a less “us vs them” mentality which is wholly detrimental to the community as a whole. We shall we keeping a close eye on these guilds.
