Imagine... It's the school festival. They have a talent show for those who want to sign up. 

You’ve heard briefly from your husband Chiaki, that Haruki, Yuu, and Souta, have started a garage band as a side hobby. Unsurprisingly, they signed up for the talent show. 

You sit in the audience with Chiaki who keeps gushing on about them. Finally, the three teens come onto the stage. The microphone screeches. The speakers take a moment to work. 

Haruki and Souta have a guitar each and are waiting to start playing. 

Then all three of them start clapping and singing the beginning sequence. 

And then Yuu starts singing the main vocals. 

It’s the Galactic Mermaids.

I made this bc I was bored and bc they are my standards (fell for a Kaname as a Tsubomi tho lmaoo).

Tbh, there was that long list in my drafts (way before my MochiAka post which says a lot)  with me babbling about how they raised my standards more than Disney did, but I gave up since it got so long!! 43 characters are even featured in this vid lmaoo (+ Kumamaru coz why not?). I also don’t know if I’d give them proper justice in that post. 

Anyway, rip to the samurai dudes, the “Can I Confess to You” guy and many forgotten characters. The music ran out XD

“You, and You”

“Hey, Saku?” Chiaki asks the other male in the room. “Yes, Chiaki?” he answers. “Would you like to do one last dance with me?” He says, he coughs. “I would love to, but do you still have enough strength for that?” Saku asks. “Of course! I would love to have one last dance with you.” He says, while putting a slightly sad smile onto his face.

“Won’t you play our song?” Chiaki asks, Saku answers. “Of course. We still have the CD here, remember?” He says, as he puts the cd into the player, a melody plays. Saku helps Chiaki up from his bed, asking “Are you okay? Can you walk?” Chiaki answered, “I’m trying!” He says, as he giggles, coughing after it. “Are you sure you can do this?” Saku asks “Well! I can try!” He says, trying to stand up the best he could, Saku helps him all the way. “We did it!” Chiaki grins, as Saku looks at him with a small smile. “Yeah, Well, may I have this dance?” He asks, Chiaki answers, smiling “Of course!” They say, as they move their body to the music. Chiaki holding onto Saku’s shoulders, as Saku holds onto Chiaki’s Waist. Supporting him, as they start to slow dance to the music.

“I missed having these moments with you, Akechi.” Chiaki suddenly says, his voice cracking, and tears start to fall from his eyes. “What’s wrong, My Love?” Saku says, as he raises Chiaki’s face, just to see him overflowing with tears. “I-I’ll die soon. It’s very p-posible, I’m just really happy that w-we still get to spend time t-together like this.” He says, removing Saku’s hands from his face, and he smiles at him. Saku holds Chiaki’s face “You can’t say that! You aren’t going to die, We’ll always be together, You will always be with me! You’re my everything, Chiaki!” Saku answers, frantically. Chiaki hugs Saku “I know, i’ll do my best to stay here for you. After all, you are all of what I hope for. You are the only one for me.”

my comic doodling process has made little improvement in terms of sensibility but not gonna lie typing out the dialogue first and Then decorating it with the panels is leagues better than just winging it the entire way

“A Home for Flowers”

Flower language is beautiful. Chiaki and Saku always wanted to learn about flowers and their meanings, since it seemed very interesting to them. They once passed by a vast field of flowers and decided to stay since they had pretty much nothing to do. Chiaki picked up an aster, specifically a red one, and gave it to Saku. Although he had no clue what it meant, he still admired it. Because of it, the two of them decided to start planting flowers. But Chiaki stopped ever since he got hospitalized, and Saku was the one who was taking care of them.

Every time he visited Chiaki, he would bring orchids and sunflowers; they were his favorite flowers. Chiaki wished he could grow Saku’s favorite flowers and give them to him on occasion.

He cherished it so much that he wishes that he could see those flowers if he ever passed away. He decided to keep them in a glass vase next to his bed.

The more days pass, the more the petals of the flowers slowly fall off. Saku wished the petals were still attached, but Chiaki reassured him that it’s fine since it normally happens.

Saku decided to visit him one last time, but once he opened the door, he saw that the room was completely empty and the flowers were all worn out. Chiaki wasn’t on his bed; his belongings were all gone.

He’s gone. Saku must have forgotten about that.

He decided to place another flower one last time on the vase; this time it was a pink camellia, a hyacinth, and of course Chiaki’s favorite, a sunflower. He wishes he could see the flowers Saku placed and appreciates them, just like when he visited him when he was still here.
