Reading the Book of Lost Tales and I can't possibly ignore this:
Manwe and Varda were probably having their own little "whole new world" musical number going on as they flew through the airs of Arda and then along comes Melkor with his stupid antics who completely ruins the moment! Jerk!
Melkor's obviously just jealous that Manwe got the girl and he's being a sore loser about it
