#i s2g some higher power is messing with me#if anyones curious it was the merciful crow#its pretty good if you can stomach a story about a plague rn#actually it has more a focus on magic and classism than sickness o its not too bad#seriously its about an unfair caste system where crows that are basically plague doctors are the lowest and discriminated agaisnt#and a crow chief in training gets roped into shenanigans with a gay prince and a dumb pretty bodyguard#no love triangle!!!#and god does it take a while for them to actually like each other#and there handling of the prince and bg’s internal bogotry is brilliant#and not at all a oh the pretty girl is human boom bigotry fixed#nope one could even argue the prince is still a lil bit elitist at the end#but theyre working on it#its honestly a really good book#id reccommend#the magic shstem and world building is also fucking phenomenal
