Some notes on my serahri sketchbook chronicles plot so far

- it started with Ahri noticing Sera has two sketchbooks with her during her stay at the kda mansion

- Ahri is naturally curious, must investigate why two sketchbooks are needed

- she only sees Sera use this particular book in private or sitting somewhere alone

- she catches Sera doodling and watching her:

- corners Sera one day trying to get a peek at what's inside:

-she gets advice from Evelynn somewhere after that

Eve: you must respect an artist's privacy love. She'll share when she wants to. Blah blah blah something about privacy blah blah creative flow and irl inspiration-

- Sera does get comfortable enough to hand it over

My Ahri x Sera art so far! (ft Evelynn too because of course)

Me thinks they're my favorites to draw together. The colors are satisfying and with their personalities and dynamic it's fun to come up with interactions for them

No one has noticed the color choice I used for Ahri's dresses in the sketchbook chronicles plot

First I did pink in the beginning of it all. When Ahri was more unaware of Sera's staring but picking up on it. I use pink as Ahri's main color in my art when it comes to clothes. To me it kinda represents her idol status in Seraphine's eyes. So Sera sees Ahri in pink = admiring idol Ahri and not friend Ahri. Sera is fangirling basically

Then I chose blue for the next part to represent Seraphine (I hc it's one of her main colors) and Ahri took notice and used it as something to keep her attention, because subconsciously she's doing that thing where you'd wear your crush's fav color so they'd notice you (tho in Ahri's mind she's not aware of her own crush, but is being flirty friendly to get to the sketchbook)

Then for the final(?) part I chose a very light green. Like a "gotcha!" moment. Idk this time I saw it a nice happy color for the ✨kiss scene✨ it seemed like a good neutral color that could represent them both, seeing that Seraphine's top is colored to match a bit

I didn't use any already existing color theories with this series. I used the way I see the characters and their own personal connections to color. Thanks for listening to me ramble on about them again

Have a scrapped part of the sketchbook chronicles plot

This moment originally came before kiss, where after Seraphine gives Ahri permission to look in her sketchbook Ahri kisses her on the head in thanks. I wanted a cute lil moment of trust and something that showed character development in the plot where they get closer and more comfortable

Somewhere between this part and the kiss I changed it. I'm seeing the whole plot in my head but my illustrations are a bit out of order after Sera gives the OK for Ahri to take a peek. Still gotta draw the actual main part that this whole plot is leading up to😅

I originally wasn't going to add any color to this 'page' because I wanted some space fillers until I got to like pt 5 but this one has ended up being a favorite so it's getting a clean up :D

Drawing Sera being a gay and flustered nervous wreck around Ahri is my favorite flavor

Serahri thots with a lil bit of Evelynn mixed in because they're all I want rn

- to answer your questions, yes, Sera's sketchbook is full of Ahri. At first it was just performances, stills from pre-kda mvs, insta pics...but when Sera got to stay with them during the 'MORE' production she was able to see Ahri in a more mundane atmosphere (chillin on the couch, doing work, talking with the girls, walking around, scrolling through her phone, completely zoning out not knowing Sera was looking-)

- Evelynn has pointed out Ahri's not-so-secret crush she has and Ahri is very oblivious to her own pining

- Ahri is very touchy feely to all her girls but Seraphine wasn't ready for it when they met. It just seems like Ahri is always.... close. Whether it's slightly leaning on your shoulder, holding hands, hugs...even her tail

- Ahri's charm has little to no real effect on Seraphine. Evelynn's however has an almost instant reaction but doesn't last long. The wives are both intrigued and salty about this

- Ahri likes to take Sera out on lil dates. Friend dates. Dates as friends. Gal pals even. Where we trade song lyrics and stare at each other while sharing boba and milkshakes then go star gazing

- Ahrilynn have many many pet names for Sera. They're a lil over the top but Seraphine likes the attention

I'd like to make a serahri print sometime :0 and prints for the other kda ships, but serahri is definitely runner up for my first fanart print. I found somewhere I can get charms made too👀👀 I wanna have a lil somethin somethin for the summer. Nothing set in stone YET but letting it be known I have plans

If anyone is interested in that sort of thing tho, but I'll do it anyway because I personally think a cute couple-y charm would look good on my backpack ;p

Your Serahri stuff is so fucking adorable, never stop with it, seriously 🥺 ❤️ and your artstyle just makes it look so.. dreamy? Deadass idk how to explain it but I love it so much

I'll admit they are very much my guilty pleasure ship and whenever I draw them always remember I'm indulging HEAVY.

And thank you! I get "dreamy" as a compliment a lot (I used to not understand it tho, but recently I realized uuuuh...CUTE my art is lol) but lately when it comes to my serahri art that's kinda the point? When I'm drawing Sera focused stuff, especially when she's interacting with Ahri, I want the tone to be from her pov (aka Seraphine seeing herself in third person) like it's a memory she's replaying over in her mind or that moment in cartoons when the main character is gawking at their crush simply existing (cue the sparkles and heavenly music playing in the background as said crush flips their hair all majestic like)

I also just really love how their color palettes look together and I'm gay so yeah :D
