Why do I wake up tired??There a several reasons one can wake up tired .. a late night, alcohol consumption, blue light exposure, loud noises etc. BUT one that is often not mentioned is that your Bed-partner may be keeping you from getting good sleep. :( Did you know that if you sleep next to a snoring bedpartner YOU lose at least one hour of sleep each night? It’s very hard to stop a dead asleep partner’s snoring. .. and we dot. Want to ruin their sleep! Truth is nearly 1 in 4 couples sleep in separate beds. And In their minds they are saving their relationships by promoting a good night’s sleep. Fact is that 45% of us snore at least occasionally. And sleep is something we should never lose if we can help it! interesting Facts: There are 5 Main types of snorers: 1. Nose snorer: Blocked nasal passages which leads to mouth breathing/ snoring 2. Mouth Breather Snorer: Open mouth and a relaxed jaw. 3. Tongue snorer: Tongue drops to the back of the throat and obstructs airway. 4. Palate Snorer: Soft palate and uvula vibrating 5. last night’s session was so much fun tbh

we were finishing up the big ship battle from the previous week and the fight’s going rough (especially mostly for our cleric who got knocked out like 4 times). we win, but there’s one ship escaping. we pursue, cleric dimension-doors over with our ranger, and they take the last ship kind of like badasses on their own. by the time braze catches up in their ship, ranger and cleric are barricading the remaining soldiers/sailors below deck were it was set on fire. she is. less than thrilled

cleric: do you want me to set them all free??

braze: ....

braze: honestly? if we’re being really honest? yes.

so eventually we do and take them prisoner instead

now everyone back at base is celebrating, our ranger is blooming with pride until braze says something along the lines of “no, yeah, i’m just surprised that Mr ‘Let’s Stay Neutral’” ((what he’d said when we met some rebels also fighting the empire)) “is fine with killing a trading ship, but i guess that’s what money’ll do, i guess oddy’s growing up after all”

ranger deflates a little but tells her: no, no, no, you can’t bring me down on this-

braze: oh no! far be it from me to put myself on the moral high ground. you do what you want. go celebrate 

and she shoos them away and we all separateb for a bit

braze’s friends tell her that they’re planning to look for her uncle (who they all got separated from 15 years ago), and ask if she wants to come with. or her and her team. braze puts that on hold while she asks the pirate king (who she dislikes Very Much) for a favor. 4 1/2 months leave. not now, but at some point. the pirate king agrees

meanwhile, our cleric gets cautioned against sticking around the pirates too much for their self-serving violence (me ooc: yo don’t tell that to braze, she will bounce). they and the range both try to reconcile the morals braze is putting toward them - the ranger talking to the pirate king herself, and omisha with their npc friend who calls them out after they tell her everything like “yeah, it sounds like you’re doing horrific things.” and they’re both caught between being irritated with braze but also “i...think braze is the nicest one of us”

then, right before the session ends, i tell the dm that braze has her answer for chance and phox

“despite everything, ubek did raise me. but that was in the past, he’s gone now... omisha [cleric]...has a kid brother. we have to get him. so you can go and look for ubek if you want, but he wouldn’t want me wasting my time chasing a pipe dream”

me ooc: and THAT’S why braze asked for the 4 1/2 months leave

cleric ooc: wait what?

me: 4 1/2 months. you’d said ((irl about 2 out 3 months ago)) it was about two months travel to get there

cleric: ...braze...

me: and then two months back

cleric: BRAZE

me: and a half month wiggle-room to work

cleric: OMISHA’S GOING TO LOSE THEIR MIND :D
