Watching the Sun Set in Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak (Seongsan Sunrise Peak)

Hello hungry peeeops!

So this post will be the opening of my Korea Trip posts, I actually had flight to Seoul first, then I flew to Jeju Island by the domestic flight which took about 1 hour. My tour guide, Matilda, who had lived in Bandung for 6 months and loved ayam penyet Harmoni very much, said that Jeju is one of the nine provinces of South Korea which has around 600,000 population. Matilda said that female  population in Jeju outnumber the male, because in ancient times many Jeju men worked as fisher and then because Jeju is best known for its big wind, many of the fisherman died in the ocean. Therefore, Jeju is famous with these three things “Rocks, Women, and Wind” so maybe youre a single man then you can go to Jeju and look for Jeju lady :P

Actually Jeju has many attractions to see, like Mount Halla, Teddy Bear Museum, but since I only got the chance to visit few places before flew back to Seoul so i picked this best place to review. 

If u have chance to visit Jeju Island, then I totally recommend you to watch the Sunrise in Seongsan Ichulbong or Sunrise Peak. I’m actually not that kind of a scenery-person, since i often see and visit forests in Bandung which kinda making me bored to see ones :)), but this one is toootally different! This Seongsan Peak listed as one of the UNESCO world heritages, and yes the view  literally took my breath away (because of the cold weather as well)!

This Seongsan Peak has a long way to walk to finally reach the top, and also has a huge crater on the top and surrounded by cliffs. Based on some sources that I’ve got, since this place is best known as a place to see the sun, so its operating hour is 1 hour before the sunrise till sunset.
