🎁 Senyuu Secret Santa 2021 Gifting Period Begins!🎁

The gifting period has now begun! You may post anytime from now until Friday, December 31, 2021 at 11:59 PM PST. You don't need to post right away- some people may want to wait until Christmas, for example. The extra leeway is given for people who may be busy directly around Christmas! 

If you're making an art, edit, or colouring and would like to post on social media, feel free to use the tag #SenyuuSecretSanta on Twitter and #Senyuu Secret Santa 2021 on Tumblr. For those of you writing fics, you may add your fic to the AO3 collection Senyuu Secret Santa 2021.

Additionally, we’re hosting a small fan merch giveaway of the leftover merch from Senyuu Week on the Senyuu Discord. Feel free to join if you’re interested!

Secret Santa Assignments Sent Out!

Yesterday, we sent out all of the secret santa assignments! 

We’ve received responses from the majority of people, but there’s a few people who haven’t responded yet 😱 If you haven’t received a message from us, please DM this account, @floofiestboy, or @kuhakkuart ASAP so we can figure out what happened! (Note: If we messaged you on multiple platforms, you don’t need to respond on each platform - just responding once is fine.)

If you don’t respond within the next few days, we’ll assume you no longer want to participate, and to accommodate this, rearrange the assignments among those who haven’t begun their gift yet.

Secret Santa Matches Out!

We’ve sent out the information about your giftee to all participants via DM! Please respond ASAP to acknowledge that you’ve received the message and still intend to participate. If you filled out the Secret Santa form but haven’t received a DM from us, please message us on Discord, Twitter, or Tumblr so we can figure out what went wrong.

As the Secret Santa form is now closed, here’s the information that was listed on it for reference:

Gift Requirements:

The amounts listed below is the minimum and recommended effort for your gift. You may exceed these limits if you so wish, but we do not recommend it as we want to make sure everyone can finish in time!

Art: One coloured drawing 

Writing: 1-3k words

Edits: 15-30s video edit, or multiple static image edits

Manga colourings: One full panel colouring, or multiple smaller ones

Timeline

Oct. 8 11:59 PM PST: Form closes

Oct. 11 11:59 PM PST: Everyone has been matched with a giftee and has been told what their giftee requested in a gift.

Nov. 6: Status check #1 - at this point, you should have decided what you're making for the gift and hopefully started it.

Dec. 4: Status check #2 - at this point, you should be a good ways into doing the gift. If you believe you can't finish your gift by gifting time, we will reach out to replacement gifters at this time.

Dec 22 - 31: Gifting! Gifts may be posted on social media (ex. Twitter/Tumblr/AO3), the dedicated channel in the Discord, or privately via DM. We'll retweet/reblog any gifts posted to Tumblr or Twitter, just tag it with #Senyuu Secret Santa 2021 (Tumblr) or #SenyuuSecretSanta2021 (Twitter).

Notes:

Sometimes Tumblr or Twitter eats posts - if you've posted your gift but we haven't retweeted/reblogged it, please DM us with it and we'll do so as soon as we can!

We've extended the gifting time before and after Dec. 25 to give people more leeway and because some people may be busy with family events around this time.
