hi! i love your page cuz it keeps me updated on quality wlw (i’m filipino and ironically missed your jathea phase lol), you probably know about the rise of BL shows in asia. there is a cute filipino BL series called Gameboys rn and for mine/your’s/your followers’ interest, there’s gonna be a GL spin-off about the bi girl bff of the mains in Gameboys. they’re calling it Pearl Next Door. pearl’s awesome (and so pretty). i’m hyped! i thought i’d share for anyone who wants to show support ^___^

Oh, lol, to have missed Jathea. It was such an obsessed phase! 

I actually didn’t know, until a person I follow started going through them and posting and I was like, oh. Honestly, I was pretty impressed, but also kind of waiting for the f/f, lol. So yes, for our interest is Pearl Next Door, you say? Hmmmm, interesting. Definitely gonna keep an eye on that channel!

Omg, that’s recent! I dunno, man...that experience...was freaking messy. There was so much going on behind the scenes, I don’t know if people would be willing to just move past that and get into a sequel. It’s definitely interesting, though, if only to see how they’d approach another show like that, given that they had a first chance and did THAT with it. Well, it HAS been five years, hopefully things have progressed since. Although things have been going on politically in the Philippines that aren’t generally encouraging, so you know.

Is everybody just sending why we love your blog? Because thats an idea I can get behind. You keep so much variety and post about lesser known wlw ships. I'll be scrolling past twenty copies of the sane post and then you'll come in w some amazing show I've never heard of. Reminds me of back in the 90s when you'd hear about these undercover marketers investigating what the cool kids like to find the next trend. You're like that but for the internet gays.

Heh, if by everyone, you mean two people, then yes! Thank you! I do try to keep on the lookout for the undiscovered pairs, it’s fun to stumble onto them and then to share with people. :) I have a bunch of popular ships too, of course, I just like what I like, I guess, but I do try to keep some variety going, for my own sake and attention span and (completely inaccurate) sense of fairness as much as any kind of aesthetic or blog theme.

I don’t know that undercover marketer thing, although it does sound so ‘90s. Undercover marketer for the internet gays sounds pretty spot on. :P

i sent in the first post so long ago i actually forgot until i saw it just now in the maya/carina tag, but i’m the person who said i was surprised no one died lol and like yeah quite a few people died in s3 but in greys s4 was when they started really going for the core 5 interns like the MAIN main characters so i am crossing my fingers we don’t lose anyone next season but tbh i’m 90% sure if anyone goes it’ll be jack or Travis bc they’ve run out of stories for them :/

Oh, wow, that was a while ago. But it feels like just the other day too...covid times, huh. Anyway, well, that’s kind of worrying, lol. As we both acknowledged, s3 had so many deaths, if they’re going to start biting into the core firefighter cast, that’s gonna suck. 

I wouldn’t say any character’s run out of stories, but of course that is quite different from the writers having run out of things they want to write for a character. Travis still kind of seems to have something, especially if they keep Emmett, but Jack really was treading water a bit there, mostly to be used for others’ stories. And his bonding with that little family kind of makes it worse, because unless they become much more significant, that’s not plot, that’s a bit of a goodbye. Maya just finished her big story, things are gonna be quiet for her for a while, I assume. But honestly, as much as I don’t care for Jack, they’ve all lost too much and I hope the writers realize that the viewers are themselves gonna be so exhausted and depressed in general, watching more death and grief is gonna suck.

I was the anon who messaged you earlier about some of the GoFundMes. I just thought you should know, both for your sake and others. I know its hard to tell that sort of stuff on the internet, but I would like money to get to people who actually need it and are legit. (Also, since you know this person/their cause I have donated some money to them, hope it helps.)

I get that, anon, and I didn’t take it at all badly, I considered your points and then decided my approach. Although it did end up mostly unchanged, because I’d need more evidence of specific posts being scams to not donate, I did get what you were saying and why. 

My hope is to do as much as I can, so I don’t really think, oh, since I’m donating to this person, I won’t donate to that person. I look at each on its own merits. In a way, being too careful might also keep money from those that need it too, right? And I didn’t mean to make that last post’s tag a dig at you, it was supposed to be a friendly, joking comment and I certainly didn’t want to pressure you to donate, you didn’t need to donate to like, validate your point or to be able to send this ask, but separately, on behalf of that person, I do appreciate it! No hard feelings, at least on my end, we just have slightly different approaches is all. :)
