#this is gonna make sense to like 0 people but i cant get it out of my head so whatever#patch notes#dungeon meshi#dungeon meshi spoilers#but like. only if you know the albatross soup story.#i guess also spoilers for the albatross soup story if you know dunmeshi#ok so for context:#chapter 49: griffin soup is an almost perfect parallel with the albatross soup story i learned in summer camp a gajillion years ago#it was a brain teaser for keeping young teenagers occupied#the kind where you tell a really stripped-down version and then make your audience guess the details until they have the full story#the story goes: a man walks into a restaurant and orders albatross soup#takes a bite#and screams#why?#and of course the answer perfectly parallels senshi's story#except the albatross soup man got the bad ending#anyways i wonder if ryoko kui knows some version of the albatross soup story#senshi's story parallels it so closely that id be surprised if she didnt#sidenote: i just discovered you can rearrange tags on desktop this is a game changer
