Okay I'm soooooo tired of not having many friends with the same interests as me. Like, none of my friends watch Legends of Tomorrow, I have no lesbian friends (i have a couple gay friends tho💛), absolutely no one I even know uses tumblr. It kinda sucks.

I want friends I can tell about the amazing fanfic I read last night or how much I love a character, or a friend who enjoys learning LGBTQ+ history (cause its freaking bad ass and awesome), I want more fellow musician friends like let's write a song together or teach each other new chords or scales or share sheet music or just talk about our love for music. Anything.

Living in a pretty rural area is amazing at times, the nature, the animals, the "simple" life, but when you're a 21yr old lesbian who is, for lack of a better phrase, "socially behind" it doesn't do any favors.

Wow!!

So.. I opened this account quite a bit ago.. in the willingness to start a blog where I could help veterans and people in general. Somehow I never got around to doing it, I failed to motivate myself to write something down that would inspire someone reading it. Now, I realized that this can only happen if I become intentional about my work to help everyone that I can wether that’d be through my writing, spoken words, or actions.

So... I’m going to put this into practice sort of like a business I suppose. I have to become intentional not only online but in life in general. I must bring all of myself into this my being has to be consumed into my ideals and what it is that I would like to project out to others. I know that I may need some help along the way and I have a few people in mind who have successful business who I can get insight from.

Wether this blog takes a step in the right direction is totally on me and I hope that this puts me there. I look forward to moving forward in this journey I hope that people will read it and get some insight from it and though I may sometimes quote philosophers know this.. Jesus and God will be included.

Ok. So this morning did not turn out how I wanted it to go at all, I woke up at 5am (unintentionally), to a tight feeling in my chest, and shortness of my breath. Another panic attack I thought to myself, great, I haven’t had one in ages! I sat in the dark, in my bed, on the verge of tears, but not quite crying at this point, to which my dog came over to me to check I was ok, I patted him, tried to go back to sleep but couldn’t In the end Nick woke from me tossing and turning etc, at which point all I could do was cry! I cried like a baby, I didn’t feel like it was going to stop, from the pain in my chest to the spinning in my head, the noise in my ears and the head ache that just would not subside (even with pain killers), it was all to much. Eventually the tears subsided, and I managed to get myself together enough to tell Nick I can’t face work, and I needed him to call in for me, I just couldn’t do it myself. He did, and for the first time in a long time I didn’t feel like a failure for saying I need help, I can’t function normally. My work were very understanding about the whole situation (unlike my old job), and I actually felt ok about having a couple of me days. . . A few hours on from this mornings antics and I still don’t feel myself or even can say I’m a functioning human again. But what I can say is, I’m not afraid of my mental illness, it’s not beaten me, it’s just knocked me a little. I still managed to walk Harvey for 20 mins & I put clothes on, if that’s all I manage to do today, then I’ve won, go me! Sometimes it’s not about the big victories of wether you go into work and managed a full day there, sometimes just about getting out of bed and moving to lie on the sofa all day and that’s a win too. If that’s all you managed to do today, then go you! I’m proud of you! I’m proud of us!
