omg the theo idea!!!! do it!
Sent Not Received
Summary: In which Theodore Nott did not receive the letters you sent.
Warnings: major miscommunication, Exes to lovers? Yelling, kissing
All year you had been trying to contact all of your friends from Hogwarts and you heard back from them- well most of them.
Pansy would write you almost every day, Blaise would update you on everything happening back at Hogwarts, Enzo would ask how you were doing, Draco would write maybe once every other week. Even Mattheo would write you back.
It shouldn't have surprised you when you didn't hear back from him. You had left after a big fight- left meaning you were forced to go.
Your parents were strict, they didn't think Hogwarts right place for you anymore, not after the war, after the leadership changed. They made you move in with you aunt who lived in France, so you could get a proper education.
Theo thought you had left him, he distanced himself from the group, with them all talking about you he couldn't stand it; not after everything. It took you so long just to get you were in your relationship and you threw that away, for what France?
He hadn't heard from you all year, he didn't reach out, he didn't need to, he knew what you wanted, and that was not him. He's accepted it, after ten months he's accepted it.
Pansy doesn't mention Theo in her letters, she knows it's a sore subject. But neither do you.
When your parents contact you for the first time in months you're nervous, wondering what they want. But when they let you know that you're permitted to return back to the United Kingdom, you're ecstatic.
Before you even reply to your family, you sign a letter to McGonagall, asking permission to arrive through a portkey to Hogwarts, to surprise your friends.
She sends a package with a silver goblet after three days. She signs it with one word: Portkey
You don't even think twice, before grabbing your trunk and the portkey. You get dizzy when you arrive in the Headmistresses office. "Hello, Ms. L/n."
"Hello, Professor." You smile and she quickly returns it. She gives you the password to the common room and sends you on your way.
You make haste running down to the dungeons, you leave your bags in Mcgonagall's office so you don't have to lug them wherever you go.
The common room is empty when you arrive, dinner is almost finished so you sit in the window sill in the corner, out of site. You enjoy the emptiness of the room, missing the atmosphere of Hogwarts over the months you've been gone.
The bustiling of students piling in the room knocks you out of your head. "I'm just saying, if she didn't want to be pushed, she should've gotten out of my way."
"You're an idiot." Replies Blaise at Pansy's everlong spew.
You watch as the group stuff themselves onto the couch, continuing a conversation. "I can't believe I'm friends with you."
You silently laugh at Draco, "Something never do change do they?"
The group goes silent as you make your way out of the window sill. "No!" Pansy gasps, standing up and nearly tripping over Mattheo's feet that are resting on top of the coffee table.
Pansy engulfs you in a hug, basically jumping on top of you. "You're here!"
You reply to Enzo with a hug.
"I missed you so much!" While you were giving hugs you noticed the lack of an aura in the room, one you had grown accustomed to over the past couple of years.
You make eye contact with Blaise and he nods to the stairwell to the boys dormitory.
They're in the same dorm they were last year, when you knock Theo is slow to answer the door. "What do you want."
"I wanted to say hi."
"Well now you did." He goes to close the door but you stop him.
"This is not how it was supposed to go." You step into the room and he lets you with a sigh.
"What?" He asks you, not understanding while he was standing in front of you after all this time.
"It was supposed to be me and you."
"Well, that's not how it turned out to be, that's life for you."
"Why didn't you try?" You sigh, "You just gave up."
"I didn't do anything." Theo snaps, "You left!"
"I didn't want to-"
"You left me for what- france?" He laughs sarcastically, huffing and turning from you to run his hands through his hair.
"I explained what happened." You say softly, trying to lower the tone of the conversation.
"Oh, really? Cause I didn't hear shit."
"I wrote you, you never replied to my letters- everyone else did, but you-" You feel tears trying to claw their ways out of your eyes, but you refuse to cry, you've cried too much after his absence.
"-What letters?" He quickly turned to you.
"w-what?" You stutter out, not understanding
"What letters?"
"The-The letters I sent you all year that you ignored!"
"I didn't get any letters." He shook his head, with an expression that told you he wasn't lying.
"I sent dozens of them."
"I didn't receive them." His eyes are wide, "I didn't get the letters."
"I sent them as soon as I got there, I explained that I didn't want to go, that- that I missed you and even if you didn't want to see or hear from me that I loved you."
"Loved?" He pauses, meeting your eyes.
"Love, I will always love you, shit like that doesn't go away." You laugh softly.
"I love you too." He seems to melt, meeting his lips with yours in a passionate kiss.
A kiss that you had missed over the past few months, his body heat warming you, his cologne surronding you.
God, how you've missed him.

Ladies and Gentlemen. I give you Little Vesperia. She's a powerful punch in a petite package! I posted her design in sketches ages ago but I was SO jazzed to finally do it digital. And I finally could do Teen Zoé and Vesperia.
Buckle up folks this is a long one.
I won't go into too much detail on Teen Zoé's fit, since I already talked about it in here. But Vesperia is where things get more interesting.
Little Vesperia obviously takes more inspiration from Queen Bee since in my rewrite Zoé idolizes Chloé so much. Zoé's father couldn't really be bothered to care about Zoé, she's been at every boarding school and summer camp he could afford while still keeping most of the money Audrey sends him. She rarely sees him, and when they are stuck together he wants her out of sight and out of mind.
Then Zoé is uprooted entirely when Audrey's infidelity is exposed. To save face she gets brought to Paris, to play at being one big happy family. She may be young, but she's wise enough to know this is just another person using her for their gain. She did face bullying at her schools, and a whole lot of nothing done about it from the teachers.
She also does not speak french. Which means that a good 70% of people have no idea how to communicate with her. And Audrey was no help. Zoé vas given so little information she didn't even KNOW she had an older sister when the was taken to France. Chloé was a complete blindside to her.
And she especially doesn't expect this intimidating teenager to kneel down to her level, and in perfect english explain that it's okay to be scared and she'll make sure Zoé won't be stuck wondering what's gonna happen next.
They spend the rest of the day learning where everyone is, and what certain things are called in french so that Zoé has a better way to communicate. They also sit down and order decorations for Zoé's room.
Zoé fully anticipated André to ignore her, but he is kind like he is in cannon. Just very busy so can only get in small conversations with her. Still, he's shown her more care than her own father had in the 9 years she's been alive. Since he'll ask her about her day, anything she may need, how school has been, etc. He also manages to get a free day to show her all the cool things in the hotel that most people don't know are there. He tries to have dinner with Chloé and Zoé as often as possible and they eat lunch together at the hotel at least once a week.
Now to Teen Zoé. I'll probably write this down in a separate post but my Idea for her is because of the limits I put on the rabbit miraculous Bunnix is no longer able to fight Timetagger, but she IS able to bring someone from that point in time to help instead. And since bringing anyone that could be recognized could potentially cause a paradox, the best solution is to bring in someone who they haven't met yet.
Design wise I like Vesperia's cannon design but it does look more like a wasp than a bee. I based her top on these biker jackets that had segments on the sides and just made the segments alternate black and yellow. I originally planned to keep the black top and yellow bottoms, but it just didn't look the way I wanted it too. I think making the jacket yellow makes it look much more like a bee. Also black mask because I like how those look better.
I think Little Vesperia looks good too, different enough from Queen Bee while still looking like she took inspiration, my favorite part was making it look like she had striped socks. While Teen Zoé looks like a logical progression while also dipping into badass as opposed to cute. Also her pupils turn gold to further differentiate her from Queen Bee.
(Bonus- Verpseria with colors closer to her originals)

HGFC 1/144 P-Bandai Neo-France Mobile Fighter GF13-009NF "Gundam Rose" 🌹🇫🇷
Been looking forward to building this for like 3 months now! Originally I ordered this in July, but the package got lost in the mail and it took a really long time for the company to send a replacement.
This kit is part of a P-Bandai redesign series by suit designer Yasuhiro Imagawa for G-Gundam's 30th Anniversary. It looks like the series will include remakes of the original No-Grade Shuffle Alliance kits, and hopefully will include a remake of the current HGFC Shining Gundam as well.
The kit is beautifully designed, with excellent colour separation despite having a very small parts count, containing only 7 sprues in total. The only colour correcting stickers are red vents on the arms and knees, well covered with foil stickers that also cover the core booster's windshield and the Gundam's eyes.
Each piece is large yet well detailed, and everything goes together super securely. Just like Bandai's most recent kits, it doesn't use any PC parts, helping it stay stiff and hold more complex poses.
The kit comes with two beam blade effect parts, open and closed fist hands, and an open pointing hand. There's also a neat gimmick with the booster, which can detach from the back and transform into the core booster groundcar.
The main gimmick of this kit is the inclusion of a trans light blue action base 5, as well as four rose-bits, a host of blue effects parts, and attachment stands for the base. This is way more impressive than the usual base included in gunpla kits, and allows you to show off the rose-bits in a variety of dynamic poses.
Overall I was really impressed with this kit. It avoids being overly complex while also feeling super premium and looking great on the shelf. Next up - Gundam Maxter!

LongDistance!Series - Part One: Melina - Manny x Reader

In the months that follow more postcards appear on Manny’s fridge, almost more than he can count because you’re bouncing around from country to country, city to city documenting Tattoo Expos throughout Europe.
Barcelona, Lisbon, Munich, Berlin, Paris, Versailles, Vienna.
You’re getting busier and busier these days and Manny can’t help but wonder when you’ll eventually stop to take a breath.
The two of you have been together almost six months and speak daily over Whatsapp through messages, voice notes or video calls. You send the occasional care package from whichever country you’re visiting, beers from Germany, wine from Spain that he’d put aside for when you returned, a gourmet food hamper from France. He’d shared that with his daughter Melina, one evening. The two of them had dressed in striped shirts with matching berets when they sat down and sampled the delicacies.
“Where did this come from?” She’d asked him as he’d set the wicker basket it had arrived in on the kitchen table.
“My friend sent it.” He tells her as they sample some of the salted butter caramel. “She travels all over the world taking pictures of people’s bodyart. Sometimes she sends me things so I can get a taste of the country she’s in.”
“Can I meet her?” Melina had asked.
He’d paused then because although it’s been on his mind recently, but he hasn’t actually broached the topic. There hasn’t been a woman in his life since his ex-Samantha. He’s fucked other women, girls who hung out at the bar, but he’s never brought them home. The truth is he knows it’s not him that they want, it’s the patch. There’s prestige that comes with being acquainted with the President of the club; it gives a woman status. He doesn’t want to bring a person like that into Melina’s world. His daughter is the most precious thing in his life, he doesn’t want her to be tainted by the darker aspects of his existence. She needs better role models in her life than the women who hang around the club and fuck their way up the hierarchy.
“She’s very far away.” He tells her as he snags a handful of coconut popcorn. “Somewhere called Versailles in France.”
He’d hoped that was the end of it before Melina picked up his cellphone and reminded him how video chat worked. His daughter was too smart for her own good and for his.
It’s later that night when Melina’s gone home that he calls you. It’s past midnight in Yuma, which makes it eight am your time. You’re still in your pyjamas, a pretty silk set that he wishes he was there to help you take off. He imagines his fingertips trailing over the thin strap before he guides it down your shoulders.
“My daughter wants to meet you.” He tells you as he sits with his back against the headboard, the room illuminated by the light from his lamp.
“Is that what you want?” You ask him, cradling a mug of coffee to your chest.
He tips his head back against the wall for a second before considering his next words carefully.
“I think this…” He says gesturing between the phone and himself. “…would be a good introduction, a way of testing the waters moving forward. I’ve spoken to Sam and she’s cool with it.”
He’d had the conversation while Melina was packing up her stuff. Once she’d learned you weren’t one of the club girls she had warmed to the idea significantly, he’d shown her some of your pictures and a couple of your articles.
“The two of you getting serious?” She’d asked in that New York drawl of hers and he hadn’t been able to keep the edges of his mouth from twitching up.
Sam can read every single one of his tells. They’ve known each other for over a decade, she’s seen him at his worst and at his best. It’s the first time she’s seen that look on his face in a while and she’s glad that he’s finally focusing on something that isn’t the club or Melina, that he’s allowing himself to be happy.
“Well, she’s successful, she’s smart, she travels the world. I think you could do a lot worse.” She teases him before nudging his shoulder with her own. “At the very least Melina meets an interesting person.”
He’s taken that on board before he’d called you. Even if this thing between the two of you didn’t work out, you can give his daughter insight into another world, one that she won’t get to see here in Yuma.
“If Sam’s signed off and it’s cool with you then I would love to meet her.” You tell him with a smile before taking a sip from your coffee cup. “However, let’s actually schedule a call so that I’m wearing something a little more appropriate when I meet your daughter.”
“I don’t know Mami, that looks pretty appropriate to me right now.” He says, biting his lower lip as the silk clings to your chest. You aren’t wearing a bra, and he can see the dark shape of your nipples through the fabric. “Maybe you could show me a little more.”
You laugh before setting your coffee cup down on the nightstand. You put the phone in the little wooden stand you usually use for when your video calls with Manny get a little risqué.
“So, tell me Manny,” You say as your thumbs hook underneath the straps of your camisole, drawing them down just a little. “What would you like to see first?”
Love Manny? Don’t miss any of his stories by joining the taglist here.

How about 25 with Isaac?
thanks for the prompt!
finding comfort in their scent
Isaac loves post cards and letters from Scott. Sure, they can text and email, but there's something about the physical items. It's Scott's scent, warm and spicy, permeating the cardboard and filling Issac with comfort.
Then, one day, Scott sends a scarf. It's clunky and frayed and in seven different colors of yarn. It comes with a letter apologizing for the hand-me-down yarn and the inexpert stitches. Issac doesn't take the scarf off for days. He sleeps with it every night, Scott's scent, his frustrations, his sadness, his love. Isaac never washes the scarf. He sends back a card that just says "thanks" and hopes his own overwhelmed scent is enough for Scott to understand.
It feels a little like cheating when Derek sends a care package, and he inhales deeply, taking comfort in the scent of his first alpha. Derek has a more bitter flavor to his smell, but it's familiar and a thousand times better than the sweet-smelling French alpha whose territory he's in right now.
He wears the leather jacket Derek sends over with a smile, Scott's scarf draped around his neck. For a few days, while Derek's scent is fresh and Scott's so ingrained in the yarn, it feels like home.
When Scott texts about hooking up with Derek he pulls both items of clothing on and basks in a dream that can never come true. The idea of both of them holding him, smelling them both happy and whole around him is an ocean away.
(When Derek and Scott come to France, whole and healthy and still together. When he sees their smiles and tracks their flesh and blood faces with his eyes, he thinks he's prepared for the smell of them. (He's not.))

hi! was wondering if you knew in advance if the pride angels you are working on will have the same shipping service the angeology has aka won't be shipping in France? (also why ? ;-; that's so sad)
Yes, they will have the same shipping. It's not something I can change, it is due to France's EPR packaging law. If you want to complain to someone please complain to your government, I and other small businesses are not happy about it either!
I will copy what I wrote for the other ask about France/Germany shipping:
There is one way to get a pin: same as with previous years, I will be applying to Pinconvention and if I get accepted I will ask my followers for pins to send. But they only let me send a few designs, and there’s no guarantee I’ll be accepted this year.
So if you are looking to get my pins, I really need your help to find a stockist in Europe, especially Germany or France! This would be a retailer or maker consignment shop that would be willing to sell my items. I have been trying to find them on my own, but it is hard due to the language barrier and many of the shops I find only want to sell local maker’s items, not stuff from someone in the US. I kindly ask that you or others be my eyes and let me know if you find a lead. No one knows your local retail scene better than you :))

How to get football autographs: a crash course
Fair warning: this will be a long post.
We’ve all heard it by now: the best way to get footballer autographs is to attend open trainings or wait outside their hotels and stadiums on match days. But what if you live far away or can’t afford to fly to training or games? Not to worry! Whether you’re a collector, a fan, or a little bit of both like me, quite a few clubs are still willing to send out autograph cards, as long as you send them a stamped addressed envelope.
You’ll find helpful how-to videos on how to do just that, along with links to some country stamp websites, below. These videos actually inspired this post:
youtube
youtube
Postal service links:
United Kingdom
https://shop.royalmail.com/postage-and-packaging/first-and-second-class-stamps - You can’t print UK stamps, but you can buy them off the Royal Mail website (see above link) or off Amazon in most cases
Germany
https://shop.deutschepost.de/shop/internetmarke/selectPostageIM.jsp?invalidAccess=true#porto-international (you’ll want to buy the printable compact letter—Kompaktbrief in German—stamps for 1,70€)
Spain
https://www.correos.es/es/en/companies/send/stamps - Unfortunately, I’m completely useless at navigating the Spanish postal service (AKA Correos), but here’s the link regardless. Maybe you’ll have better luck than me 😅
France
You can buy printable stamps using the link above
Postage Questions:
What materials will I need to send a request?
You’ll need a letter containing your autograph request, 2 envelopes (one bigger and one smaller), a stamp/stamps (depending on size and weight) from your country and the stamp/stamps of the destination country.
I’ve bought my stamps. What size envelopes should I get?
I recommend getting c4 envelopes, as they’ll be big enough to hold your autograph request letter. These will be the envelopes you’ll mail out. If you go with a c4 envelope, I’d recommend purchasing c5 envelopes as your smaller envelope. These will be the envelopes the clubs return to you with the autograph cards inside, and you’ll slide them into your c4 envelope when you’re ready to mail them.
Be sure to include the club’s mailing address and your country’s stamp on the large envelope and your address + their country’s stamp on the smaller one
Where can I find a club’s mailing address?
You can usually find a club’s mailing address, along with their attitude towards fanmail, on the “contact us” tab on their webpage. If you can’t find it there, search the name of the club on fanmail.biz; they have the mailing address of just about every football club you can imagine.
What should I put in my autograph request letter?
The main thing here is to include which footballers’ autographs you want (if you don’t have a preference, you don’t have to do this; you can always say you’d be happy to add whatever player cards they’re willing to send to your collection, or something like that lol). Apart from that, what you include is entirely up to you! I wouldn’t recommend sending a super long letter, but if you want to add a personal touch, you can always mention one of your favorite memories of that club and their achievements. It doesn’t hurt to throw in a thank you at the end either :) one last note: you can address your letter to the club or the player whose autograph you’re requesting; it’s entirely up to you!
Do I have to send a stamped addressed envelope to every club?
Not necessarily. If you want to save money on stamps and envelopes, try emailing the clubs first. If you’re lucky, they’ll send the autograph cards directly to you and pay for the postage :)
Now onto the most important question: does it work? The answer is that it depends on the club you’re sending the request to and sometimes even the league they play in. I’ll break it down by league below, detailing either my own experiences writing to the club (if I’ve written to the club and heard back, I’ll state it outright) or that of YouTubers who have reached out to them. If you don’t see your club here, assume they either don’t reply to fanmail, or I haven’t heard of any success stories yet.
Premier League
Some Prem clubs still send out autographs, but not all. Here’s the ones that do:
Manchester United - pre-covid I’m pretty sure they sent out only hand-signed autographs upon request. Unfortunately, they seem to have cut back a bit on this in recent years; nowadays they tend to send a mix of hand-signed and pre-printed, facsimile signatures (this was the case for me when I wrote to them a few months ago and a few YouTubers that wrote to them as well). Still, pretty amazing given the size of the club that they’re willing to do this. As a United fan, I can’t help but feel a little proud :)
Liverpool - they definitely take the “you’ll never walk alone” motto literally, because they also still answer autograph requests with squad photos and signatures, at least as of 2021. To add a personal touch, they usually include a certificate with your name on it. Even though they’re United’s biggest rivals, I can’t help but respect them for this.
Arsenal - another big club that’s not too big for their fans; to my knowledge, they still send out hand-signed autographs. In doing research for this post, I even stumbled upon a video of someone who got an Arsenal match program, 2 squad photos, and autographs on the back of one of them. Talk about a big haul!
Tottenham - usually send pre-signed, photocopied autograph cards
Chelsea - sent out pre-signed, facsimile autograph prints as of 2021
Manchester City - sends out facsimile signatures only, according to several YouTubers (I’ve never contacted the club personally, so I’m not sure if this is still the case). If you do reach out to them, let me know what you hear back!
Crystal Palace - hit-or-miss. They tend to reply with pre-signed squad photos. They usually include a “south london and proud” bracelet from what I understand though, which is a fun perk!
West Ham - you might hear back from them, you might not (I didn’t when I tried a few months ago, but I know several other people did). If they do reply, you’ll likely receive hand-signed photos.
Aston Villa - sent out mostly pre-signed cards as of 2021
Everton - sent out predominantly hand-signed cards as of 2020
Leicester - send out a mix of photocopied and hand-signed cards, as of 2020 - they generally include player cards from the entire squad
Bournemouth - sent out pre-printed cards as of 2021
Newcastle - still sent out hand-signed photographs as of 2020
Bundesliga
If you want hand-signed autographs, look no further than the Bundesliga. In my experience, they send out the most hand-signed cards of any football league, and it’s not even close. In fact, you’d be hard pressed to find a club that doesn’t send out hand-signed cards. I’m assuming it’s the same story for the 2. Bundesliga (I know Schalke sends out hand-signed cards at the very least).
Bayern Munich - generally, they prefer you purchase cards on their website. Unfortunately, you have to be a member to buy signed cards on there; otherwise, you have to settle for pre-signed prints. That said, I’m pretty sure that if you purchase the player cards on the website and send a few back to the club to be signed, they will return them with official autographs. I sent in a request for Manuel Neuer’s autograph earlier this year and enclosed his player card, and they sent it back hand-signed. I included my membership number in my request just in case, but I know they’ve sent hand-signed autographs to non-members in the past (i.e. the YouTuber mentioned towards the beginning of this post). If you do reach out to Bayern, let me know how it goes. My fingers are crossed for you regardless 🤞
Borussia Dortmund - probably the most reliable of the Bundesliga clubs when it comes to autograph requests. They now limit you to 4 footballers per request, so you’ll have to be selective. That said, they usually reply quickly and send out hand-signed autographs every time. I have yet to hear of anyone who hasn’t received something back when they sent an autograph request to BVB.
Bayer Leverkusen - when I requested autographs from them, they sent me some back. I requested 3 players’ autographs, along with Xabi Alonso’s, and received all 4 cards back hand-signed. Quite a few YouTubers have had success hearing from them as well. Even though they’re having a fantastic season, they clearly haven’t neglected their fanmail, which is cool to see :)
Eintracht Frankfurt - sends out hand-signed autograph cards, even as of this season (they sent hand-signed cards when I reached out to them two months ago). If they’re your club, you’re in luck.
VfB Stuttgart - hand-signed cards
RB Leipzig - hand-signed cards
FC Union Berlin - hand-signed cards (I haven’t heard back from them yet, but it’s only been a week and a half at this point)
SC Freiburg - hand-signed cards
Borussia Mönchengladbach - hand-signed cards (I just heard back from them a week ago, and I think I got a mix of hand-signed cards and pre-signed prints)
FC Augsburg - hand-signed cards
SV Werder Bremen - hand-signed cards
VfL Wolfsburg - hand-signed cards
VfL Bochum - hand-signed cards, sometimes of the entire team (I received 4 cards in response to my request)
TSG Hoffenheim - hand-signed cards, often of the entire team
FC Köln - hand-signed cards
FSV Mainz - hand-signed cards, often of majority of the squad
La Liga
If you’re a fan of a Spanish club, you might be a lot less lucky, sadly. Only one club still sends out hand-signed autographs to my knowledge, and only one other club sends anything back in response to fanmail.
Real Madrid - occasionally sends out posters with pre-printed, facsimile signatures.
Sevilla - this is the club to ask for hand-signed autographs. That said, you probably won’t get more than one or two. I’d recommend being specific about which player(s)’ autographs you want in order to avoid being disappointed.
Ligue 1
Maybe the French league is more your speed. It’s a mixed bag here; while few answer fanmail, the ones that do are more often than not the most generous of any football clubs on this list.
PSG - the Parisians do still respond to autograph requests, but pretty much exclusively send out facsimile signatures.
Olympique de Marseille - have sent out pre-signed cards of their entire team in the past, along with a poster
FC Metz - sent out a mix of hand-signed autographs and pre-signed prints as of 2021
LOSC Lille - sent out autograph cards as of 2021
OGC Nice - sent out autograph cards as of 2021
RC Strasbourg - sends out autographed postcards, and if you’re lucky, they might include a squad photo and some stickers along with it :)
AS Saint-Étienne - send out hand-signed cards, although I’ve also seen them send squad photos addressed to the recipient, along with 2 issues of their club’s magazine
Eredivisie
PSV Eindhoven - sometimes send out autograph cards with facsimile signatures (pre-prints)
Swiss Super League
FC Basel - sent out hand-signed cards as of 2021
BSC Young Boys - sent out hand-signed cards as of 2021
Austrian Football Bundesliga
SK Rapid Wien - sent out hand-signed cards as of 2021
LASK - hand-signed cards (as of 2021)
Scottish Premiership
Glasgow Rangers - occasionally sends pre-signed prints (at least, as of 2021)
Ekstraklasa
All clubs listed below have sent out hand-signed autograph cards in the past:
Śląsk Wrocław
Legia Warszawa
Lech Poznań
A-League
Western Sydney Wanderers - signed squad photo
MLS
Whether you’ve got a particular club in mind or you’re just a fan of one of the big stars (i.e. Messi), you’re probably in for disappointment. Autograph collecting isn’t super big in the U.S., and MLS treats autograph requests accordingly.
Seattle Sounders - one of the only two clubs in MLS that actually sends a response to autograph requests - one lucky collector was even able to get a hat signed by the entire squad! (see here)
NYCFC - sends out hand-signed autograph cards occasionally, usually only one or two
*side note: unfortunately, it seems like most people have only reached out to European clubs, (with the exception of the A-League and MLS), so I can’t speak to whether clubs on other continents fulfill autograph requests. If you reach out to any clubs in leagues not mentioned here, let me know and I’ll update the list :)
Lingering questions:
How long does it take to hear back from clubs?
In my experience as someone living in the UK, I’ve heard back from every club I reached out to within 2-3 weeks (closer to the 2 week mark in most cases). It depends on how far away you live from the club though. I heard back from Manchester United within a week of mailing my request, but they were the exception, not the rule.
Tldr: expect to hear back within a month (maybe a month and a half in extreme cases)
Do clubs answer autograph requests during the off-season?
In my experience, no. I tried this a few years back with no success.
Can I send a shirt to be signed by a player?
I wouldn’t recommend it, as you may not get it back. If you do, the club will probably just return it to you unsigned. You’re better off just requesting an autograph card imo.
Do national teams send autograph cards?
Some do! Last I’ve heard, the German national team still answers requests with authentic signatures and the Croatian national team has sent out signed cards previously as well. The Czech Republic sends out unsigned squad cards. Last but not least, the Dutch national team has sent out fan posters in the past.
Apart from David MC’s autograph series, here’s some of the other videos that helped form this list:

Hello, simblrs! Allow me to introduce the DuRaul Mansion, Basic Edition. A luxurious, 3-bedroom mansion on one of the large plots at the outskirt of Studio Town, a favorite neighborhood for Simlywood stars and showbiz sims.
DOWNLOAD (SFS) the Basic Edition
The Basic Edition (174MB file size after compression) contains the architectural elements and furnitures but not the decorations and clutters (except a few Maxis ones). The house is pre-cleaned using Chris Hatch's lot cleaner. I also recommend using the CleanInstaller to install the lot package. Due to file size limit, the full version of this mansion cannot be directly uploaded to file storages. However, a list of included and recommended cc is here.
For my followers who would like to get the mansion as it is shown in the previous posts, I also offer a Deluxe Edition option (see below the house tour).
Paollo DuRaul, nonbinary singer/designer and the owner of the house, gave us a very warm welcome and a tour.
DuRaul: Hello! C'mon in!
DuRaul: This is the Disco Room, where we dance whenever we feel like it! As you can see, we looooove those pumpy fluffy lights and we put pictures of famous dancers on the wall, as inspirations!
DuRaul: This is the Trophy Room. This is my office but I rarely work here. But I guess I just need such a room to put all the stuff they gave me, like this 1994 music video award.
DuRaul: We looooove bright colors in our kitchen. So, we bought this stove from France and this brand used to make stoves for the kings and queens! At least that's what they told us!
DuRaul: I like high ceilings. Do you like high ceilings? I am tall. So I like having a lot of space over my head.
DuRaul: This is the living room. It is very cozy here and we'd like our guests to feel cozy and elegant here.
DuRaul: People no longer make such furnitures anymore! They are art pieces!
DuRaul: We like to have a view of nature as we eat. So this is the idea for our dining rooms!
DuRaul: Welcome to the holy temple of this house. I just loooooove to keep the stuff we bought from our past shopping trips and this room allows us to relive those experiences!
DuRaul: Hope you like the tour! Now if you would excuse me, I would like to chase some butterflies around the pool!
The layout for the mansion (note that the third floor, which contains two additional bedrooms, is furnished with minimal sutff in the Basic Edition to keep the file size manageable)
Now, for those brave hearts who are not afraid of handling huge house downloads, I offer the Deluxe Edition.
To get this edition, please follow these simple steps:
(1) Follow TheFourthRabbit here on Tumblr.
(2) Send me an ask message for the DuRaul Mansion and give me an email address to receive the file.
(3) I will send you the original version of this mansion (>300MB compressed file size, fully cluttered) through WeTransfer (a large file transfer service).
(4) Let me know if there is any issue when installing or playing this lot!
Enjoy a fruitful autumn and have fun!

Moving Day || Shadowhunters
FANDOM: Shadowhunters
PAIRING: Alec x Magnus
WORD COUNT: 784
RATING: PG
POTENTIAL TRIGGERS: N/A
SUMMARY: What would become the true love story of their lives began the day Alec and Magnus met - moving day before the new semester at the New York Institute campus.
TAGLIST: @no1likemybbgcharlie
♢♦♢♦♢♦♢♦♢♦♢♦♢♦♢♦♢♦♢♦♢♦♢♦♢♦♢♦♢♦
Freshman year for his sister meant that Alec was expecting a new roommate. The roommate he'd had the last two years - a fairly handsome man named Underhill - had graduated early and left Alec feeling oddly lonely despite not being very social. He supposed it helped that Underhill had been like him, but hadn't pushed for a relationship or anything. The male was a really good friend to Alec, like an older brother, so now a sophomore, Alec was hoping he could be as helpful to whomever walked in the door as his new roommate. Isabelle, darling sister that she was, kept insisting she would be his roommate, but Alec knew the odds were unlikely. The university tried to make siblings grow on their own and believed that pairing them up would hinder that. So he wasn't at all surprised when he got a call from an irritated Isabelle, which lasted until she discovered her roommate was a freshman named Clary, and Alec could hear the friendship develop instantly over the phone. He had laughed and promised he would help her unpack as soon as his own roommate arrived, and his baby sister was quick to hang up.
He went to make himself some tea, setting it down before picking up his Gibson TG-1, his favorite acoustic for the rich sound, and began fiddling with tuning it so he could work on a new video. He was tuning his guitar when there was a knock on the door. Carefully setting the instrument on the couch next to him, Alec stood and moved to open the door -
And had to catch his breath.
The man standing on the other side of the door was just a few inches shorter than him, with caramel skin, dark eyes accented by a blue glittery eyeshadow, hair done in a mohawk while a black and silver messenger bag hung across his body. It was beautiful and intriguing and Alec was sure his heart had stopped until the man spoke.
“Hello. I'm sorry if I interrupted anything.” the male finally greeted, having been momentarily stunned himself at the contrast of dark hair, blue eyes and pale skin.
Alec snapped from his reverie at the sound, and the music major wanted to faint because no voice should sound that damn good. “Not at all. You didn't have to knock, though. I thought the admin office still gave out keys?” He replied inquisitively, stepping aside to let the other inside.
“Yeah, well, my last uni was, uhm...active. A lot. Or at least my loftmates were.” The roommate said as he set his bag down behind the couch, turning to look at Alec and offer his hand. “I'm Magnus, by the way. Transferred in from PCA in France.”
“France?” Alec asked before a faint blush colored his cheeks and he shook Magnus’ hand. “Oh, uh, I'm Alec.”
“Oui.” Magnus said with a grin. “I was there to get an adventure. When I finished most of my courses, I decided to come back to the States.” he explained. “The dorms here are quite large.”
“Large and soundproof.” ALec agreed. “Unless the students in this hall are just not getting any.” He crossed his arms a little and laughed with Magnus, looking around. “Uh, do you want a quick tour?”
“Sure,” Dark eyes returned to Alec from where he’d been looking at the guitar propped on the couch. He followed Alec around the couch and to the kitchen area.
“So the kitchen we have to keep stocked. My sister and I split our tips from work and keep each other fed, but our father sends money once a month out of some obligation his friends have guilted him into. Our mom sends care packages, so if there’s something you’d like, I’m sure she wouldn’t mind adding it.” he shrugged, pointing to their right as they faced the living area. “Laundry room and guest bathroom are that way, our rooms are on the other side.” He explained, leading the way. “Both of us have our own bathrooms, walk in closets, and the office area is the one at the end of the hall.” he pointed at the doors across from each other and then the one at the end of the hall as he spoke.
“The university pays to furnish all this?” Magnus inquired, sounding impressed.
“Most of it. If you decide to get your own furniture, you can have campus officials pull out the originals. It’s what I did.” Alec answered, smiling. “Do you need help with your stuff?”
Magnus gave a smile and nodded as he went to set his bag in the bed in his room. “That would be great, Alec. Thank you.”

U.S. President Joe Biden has asked for an additional $14 billion in new military aid for Israel, a request that lawmakers are now considering. Yet as Palestinian civilian deaths rise and disagreements grow between the U.S. and Israeli governments on the methods and outcomes of the fighting, passage of a massive amount of military support further tying the United States to Israel’s prosecution of the war must not be treated as a rubber-stamp exercise.
As negotiations continue this week on an emergency funding package that includes military assistance to Israel alongside aid for Ukraine and humanitarian relief, lawmakers must ask some tough questions of the Biden administration and the Israeli government.
First, does Israel actually have financial need? Even if Israel is seeking additional arms for legitimate security purposes, such a desire for additional weapons does not by itself establish a fiscal imperative for U.S. taxpayers to foot the bill. While some senior lawmakers no doubt have memories of an Israeli economy working earnestly to catch up with older states, recent decades have seen Israel become a comparatively wealthy nation.
According to 2022 World Bank figures, Israel has a per capita GDP higher than that of each of France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia—and more than 12 times that of Ukraine, the other recipient of military aid in the request before Congress. Due diligence requires that lawmakers seek evidence that Israel cannot reasonably pay for necessary additional arms itself.
Additionally, lawmakers should ask whether Israel—already the largest recipient of U.S. foreign aid—has used tens of billions of dollars in U.S. military support to date in a way that enhances rather than harms its security. In addition to supplying Israel with decades of arms and assistance, the U.S. Congress has repeatedly and rightly condemned Hamas’s horrific Oct. 7 attack and atrocities against Israel, and expressed support for its ally’s right and duty to protect its people. Yet, as multiple reports have now made clear, Israel’s failure to prevent Hamas’s brutal attack was not due to lack of weapons or resources—it was a failure of the Israeli government to detect the assault and deploy its forces accordingly.
Not only did Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government ignore the dire situation in the Gaza Strip and the Israeli security personnel who warned of Hamas’s plans, they also prioritized sending military forces to the West Bank, where the far-right settlers who make up a substantial part of Netanyahu’s supporter base were intensifying government-backed harassment of Palestinian communities.
Israel nearly doubled the number of its battalions in the West Bank in the months before Oct. 7. That left Israel’s south poorly defended prior to the attacks, with Israeli experts themselves blaming the slow response to the Hamas attack on the fact that so many troops were in the West Bank.
Even amid the current war and the emergence of horrific new details of Hamas’s atrocities against Israelis in the south, the Netanyahu government advanced a budget earlier this month that would allocate the equivalent of tens of millions of new dollars to fund illegal settlement projects in the West Bank. Money is fungible, and U.S. workers are owed an explanation as to why they should backfill gaps in Israeli military funding that were caused, in part, by settlement activity that only exacerbates a wider Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The Israeli government’s unending project of settlement expansion and Palestinian displacement raises another critical question: Will Israel use U.S.-funded weapons in accordance with both U.S. and international law?
While the more than 15,000 Palestinians estimated to have been killed in Gaza no doubt include some number of Hamas combatants, the overwhelming number are civilians—and an estimated more than half or even two-thirds of them were women and children. Such figures are prima facie evidence that Israel has not adhered to its obligation under international law to take all reasonable precautions to avoid civilian losses and damage to civilian infrastructure.
In fact, Israeli researchers have reported that the Israeli military intentionally and systematically targets civilian infrastructure, routinely attacking sites with little or no known military activity, but which were known to house families. Hamas’s undoubted war crimes, including its continued holding of hostages and rocket launches into Israel, do not relieve Israel of its own obligations under the laws of war.
Moreover, well-documented public statements and writing by Israeli government and military officials calling for the permanent mass transfer of civilians or the broad destruction of structures in the territory is worrying evidence of an intention to commit some of the most serious violations of the laws of armed conflict and human rights.
Despite these concerns, the Biden administration has shown distressing resistance to enforcing conditions on aid—a number of which already exist under U.S. law—to ensure that U.S.-funded and -supplied arms are used exclusively for permitted purposes.
Rather than continuing to give vague assurances that the administration will continue pressing Israel to follow international law—requests that Israel’s government has clearly ignored—lawmakers should ask Biden for specific commitments related to the enforcement of laws enacted to prevent U.S. arms from being misused, such as the Arms Export Control Act and Leahy Law.
With dozens—if not hundreds—of lives lost daily, and families on either side of the Gaza fence fearing for their loved ones, Congress has a responsibility to ensure that the steps it takes make a just and secure end to this war more likely, rather than funding actions that harm human security, regional stability, and international order with American taxpayer dollars.

Rainbow After the Rain/ Episode 5
Season: Autumn
Characters: Souma, Izumi, Shu, Aira
Aira: I see. I thought that was a strange combination
So you guys came to the shopping district looking for a souvenir for Itsuki-senpai’s friends in Paris
Choosing a souvenir must be difficult if you travel to and from overseas a lot
Shu: Yes. It’s not a problem if you just buy randomly, but each time I’m asked about my sense, and I become wary of what I’m choosing
Aira: I don’t know if I can help, but if you’d like, I’ll send a list of ‘sweets I’d like to try’ over Hold Hands
Shu: Oh, I’d be grateful for that. Certainly send it over. I might find something good
Aira: Ehehe, got it. It’s a little embarrassing though
Shu: There’s no need to be embarrassed. Your aesthetic sense has now stimulated my sensibilities, and paved the way for me
Izumi: Okay, okay. You’re exaggerating
Anyway, can you send me that list too, Shiratori?
It’s not as urgent as Itsuki’s, but I’d like to bring back some souvenirs too
Souma: I’d also like to learn Shiratori’s “sense” for future studies. Of course, I don’t want to be unreasonable but…
Aira: It’s okay! It seems like Japanese sweets have a pretty good reputation among foreigners
Souma: Hm. You go through a lot of trouble to research these things, Shiratori. Do you also have the opportunity to buy souvenirs overseas?
Aira: It’s not that. You see, I’m actually a quarter non-Japanese*
*He’s actually a quarter French but he doesn’t explicitly state that here so I decided to leave it out.
Because I look different from other people, there was a time in the past when I was searching for what it means to “be Japanese”
Izumi: I see. So for you it’s got the wider meaning of self discovery…
Aira: Nono, it’s not as serious as it seems!
I just had the opportunity. In the end, my hobby is just taking vague notes about the things I like
You see, when it comes to “being Japanese”, the first thing you imagine is Kanzaki-senpai
Souma: Yes. The Japanese spirit and traditional influence are both good cultures that Japan is proud of
When I think of sweets, the first things that come to mind are simple things, such as dorayaki and yokan, but that’s not the case for Shiratori
Aira: Not exactly, those things are what come to mind first for me too when someone says “Japanese”
But, I think modern Japan is more than just that
When it comes to more recent souvenirs, it’s not just the appearance of the sweets itself, but the cuteness of the packaging and containers that attracts attention!
The collaboration cookie tin I showed you earlier is a good example! Japan today is a country that develops cute products like that!
For example mascot characters, each local area creates cute characters to promote their own area!
Things like sweets and fashion develop into a genre called “Yume Kawaii”
Even in the world of idols, the number of cute super lo~vey goods being sold is increasing!
Izumi: Hey, how long are you gonna keep talking? Aren’t we getting off topic?
Aira: Wah!? I’m sorry, I just started infodumping without thinking. My otaku side is showing, huh…
Izumi: No, it’s fine really. Actually, I don’t think what you’re saying is wrong either
I’ve seen that influence first-hand in France too. It’s no trivial matter
In any case, I’ll use the list you sent me for future reference. Thank you, Shiratori
Aira: You don’t need to thank me! I’m honoured that my otaku knowledge could help my senpais!

Paris, Part Deux
We decided to take it easy on ourselves today and just pretend to be French. That meant lunch at a sidewalk cafe, shopping, and just strolling the streets around our sweet apartment. Lunch and shopping are two of my favorite things. When I say shopping, I mostly mean picking up some small treats for the people I love. Rue Cler always has what I need. Finely milled French soap, amazing honeys from my favorite honey store, and this delightful toy store where I found treasure for the grandgirl.
The Rabbits of Alice, and I certainly fell down the rabbit hole.
I picked up chestnut honey here...
This family honey business has hives all over France - if you want honey from bees that feed on lavender fields, or almond orchards, or cherry blossoms, or whatever, they've got it. I picked up some chestnut honey because it just sounded good. You can get lighter or stronger, so of course I picked the strongest.
On Rue Cler the cheese shop has 400 varieties of cheese. Four hundred! I can't even get a decent Gruyere in Denton. *sigh*
I was snapping photos as we walked, so forgive me. The fish monger, the veggies sellers, the bread bakers, the chocolatiers...everything you need for dinner is here. Even flowers for the table.
The aroma from this store - selling everything from roasted chickens to smoked pork loin made my mouth water.
That shop also sells roasted veggies to take away with your meat. You wouldn't dare walk past it hungry. Thank goodness we were full from lunch.
After making our purchases we dropped the packages at the apartment and continued down the street to just spend some time enjoying Paris.
There are always peaceful paths and parks to get away from the hustle and bustle.
And sometimes, when you look up...
there she is! I'm not sure people understand how enormous the Eiffel Tour is, here's a terrible shot I snapped when we were wayyy up on Montmartre.
So when you're on your way somewhere and you're hurrying across a street and see this between buildings, you have to stop and appreciate it.
I still think she's loveliest at night, but I'll enjoy it any time of day. We crossed the Seine, roamed around, stopped for a coffee, and after a bit more exploring we eventually decided to call it a day... because we've got to be up a bit earlier tomorrow to catch a train to Versailles! We were able to get tickets to the palace after all! I have mixed feelings about the Hall of Mirrors - I know it will be breathtaking, but I hope I don't have to see hundreds of myself reflected back at me. This is the point on vacation where I start looking a tad worse for the wear. We left on the 7th, my expiration date is coming up. Mickey snapped a photo of me shopping on Rue Cler this afternoon and I looked 90 years old. Or maybe that's just how I look now.
I guess it is what it is, if I have to be ugly I might as well be ugly in Paris! I'm going to close this blog and get some sleep. Maybe that will help. It was an absolutely beautiful day pretending to be Parisian, I highly recommend it. I like stopping at the windows of real estate offices and looking at the listings of apartments for sale or rent. We stand there and act very particular. We simply must have a balcony facing the Eiffel Tower, preferably near a good market street like Rue Cler, but also close enough to a metro station. We're in the 7th arrondissement right now, where Ina Garten has an apartment - maybe I should ring her bell and ask for advice.
We'd be besties, I'm sure.
Alright kids, I'm off to bed. Sending you love. Until tomorrow, stay safe, stay well. XOXO, Nancy

I need Magical Strike AU with Arthur as a struggling single dad to Peter. It’s part of the reason The Company™ has such a hold on him. Debts and threats of violence are bad enough: debts and threats when you have a young dependent = so much worse
IDK if Peter would be a blood relative or just an orphan kid Arthur takes in. Or both. Because Jones Corp. bulldozed his orphanage and put up a new office idk let’s go full ridiculous here lol
Either way, it’s a difficult and strained relationship because Peter is (understandably) clingy and lonely but Arthur is working 25/7 and permanently stressed and exhausted. His brothers try to help out, but they’re in other countries and have their own problems anyway (hc that Jones Corp. already crushed Britain before moving on to France) so it’s not easy. They send money and care packages when they can
Then Francis shows up and turns the Kirkland household tiny, shitty apartment upside down. Peter loves him from the start in both forms, much to Arthur’s displeasure
Peter: He fancies you. He told me :D
Francis: Oh, really? :D
Peter: Yeah! He likes your pretty hair and dress :D
Francis: He thinks they’re pretty? :D
Arthur:…
Arthur:…
Arthur:…🍺🥃🍷🍺🍺🍺

According to the Gaullist vision, a nation is defined not by institutions or borders but by language, religion, and high culture; in times of turmoil and conquest it is those spiritual things that must be protected and reaffirmed.
Sir Roger Scruton, Gentle Regrets
American inspired woke gender cult comes to France.
Scruton would be the first to appreciate the irony as he was present at the Paris student riots of May 1968 whose physical destruction and ideological nihilism was enough to turn Scruton the Cambridge student towards conservatism. The destructive postmodern ideologies of the pro-pedophile Foucault and Derrida et al would travel across to California to the English departments on university campuses there and beyond. Misunderstanding the French structuralists these American progressives leftists like Judith Butler would take niche ideologies like gender queer theory and re-package them like Japanese sushi and send them back to their point of origin.
The chickens are coming home to roost for France.
