Izumi was one to usually spend holiday time abroad, his parents always taking him into such trips as if to make it up for being absent all year long. And though he wasn’t opposed to spend such time with them, this time he reused the offer. The Starfes would happen right on Christmas, and after that there were CM recordings and other small lives, and before you know it, class would start again; there wasn’t exactly time for such holidays.

Yet, there was some level of regret on this matter when him -one of the few to have no plans- was put in charge of organizing the school’s New Year Party along with some guys from the student council. As someone who slept early every night and never ate past 9 the whole event felt as nothing but an elaborate torture and simultaneous waste of time. Yet, he was completely unable to shake himself free from the responsibility.

He might have spent the whole night bickering and complaining to everyone… if it wasn’t because a certain familiar face showed in the crowd. That long wing of black hair flowing softly behind her, the serene smile on her face highlighted by very delicate make-up.

He had expected her to have plans… he had asked before and she didn’t seemed to have a romantic partner at the moment, but he would have guessed she’d rather go back home for the holidays than spending them surrounded by her students. Yet… he couldn’t help but feel ecstatic at the chance of spending this time with her.

She agreed easily, only commenting if Izumi wouldn’t feel rather bored in her company, to which he replied with a smile and a shake of his head. What could be better than spending this time with his crush? Nothing. Of course, Rose-sensei had no way of knowing that, and he had no plans of telling her about it… He had no chances with her anyway, so he’d rather just make use of the privilege of a cute student.

And so, he ended up escorting her through the night. Getting her a drink now and then, finding a place for her to sit when he shoes proved to be against her, and even guiding her for a short try of ballroom dancing. And he was truly happy all along, just being able to see her smile from so close-by.

They were now sitting in the balcony, him holding her shoes up while she rested her feet and her talking about her family, about why she had decided to spend her New Year’s here instead of back there. The moonlight fell tenderly over her brown buckles of hair and the white lines of her face, making her eyes sparkle, full of stars, whenever she looked straight at him. She was gorgeous and he was starstruck…

Five minutes left of the year, Leo and Madara announced between laughter, and Ruby laughed softly, a hand over her mouth as she did, white clouds leaving her lips regardless as the night was cold. She finally commented on the scarf Izumi was wearing -the same she had gifted him on his birthday- and he blushed, hiding the lower part of her face in the folds of warm fabric.

As the constant murmur of the music quieted down as the countdown for a New Year started, she thanked him for spending the night with her.

“No… Thank you, Rose-sensei. I was happy to spend the whole night with you. I’d be more than glad to spend all of my life with you” heated words in a heated situation, and he soon enough felt embarrassed and regretful. But she only laughed and let it pass, probably not giving it much thought to his words…

Which was frustrating in its own way… At least she hadn’t acted worried or creeped out, so he’d take this as a win…

  To have Rose-sensei look my way once I’ve graduated.

  To be able to be with her as much as possible this year.

He nodded, red and nervous, frustrated and happy… a turmoil of emotions firing inside him just by seeing her face.

Leaning forward he pressed her lips against his teacher’s cheek. A tender touch that lasted only a few seconds before he would pull away. A little red in her own cheeks (or was that’s Izumi’s imagination) she giggled before asking what had he wished for.

“If I were to say it, it wouldn’t come true~”

   That next year I can kiss her on the lips instead.

I kind of feel like this falls under the ‘can’t delete bc we don’t know this anon confession is yours’. But if you have already reblogged it, and you really want a tag on it, sure we’ll throw a particular tag on it. Just note two things:

Retro tagging, e.g. adding a tag after something is posted, does not cause the post to appear in the search index/tag search results.

Having a unique tag does not necessarily ensure that your posted anonymous confessions can potentially be requested for deletion. Just because, again, we don’t know if it’s actually the same person on anon, or someone playing around.
