Trigger Warnings: death, illness, car accident, abandonment
Clara, born in Wilmington, North Carolina, to an upper-middle-class family, embodied a mix of light and shadow. As a child, she balanced innocence and mischief, her spirit wild yet vulnerable.
When Clara was seven, her life took a sudden turn when her parents left her with her two aunts for what was supposed to be just a week. She felt a mix of anxiety and dread, particularly about her strict Aunt Eve, although Aunt Nora's nurturing presence offered some solace.
As the days passed, the tension between Clara and Aunt Eve escalated, leading to a heated confrontation. Distressed, Clara called her parents, pleading for their return. Moved by her distress, they decided to come back to Wilmington immediately. Tragically, hours later, a phone call brought the devastating news that they had been in an accident and had passed away. Consumed by rage and grief, Aunt Eve cruelly blamed Clara for their deaths.
After losing her parents, Clara was raised mainly by her strict Aunt Eve. The town gossiped about her aunts, labeling them as "the witches" due to their unmarried status and reclusive habits. Clara's life was marked by solitude and strict rules, with rare outings from her all-girls school. Despite the luxurious surroundings, Clara felt suffocated, yearning for a normal life, which clashed with Aunt Eve's control. Aunt Nora occasionally provided moments of relief, but Aunt Eve remained a formidable obstacle to Clara's desires for a conventional life.
Shortly before turning 18, Aunt Nora's health deteriorated, prompting her to reveal a shocking truth to Clara: Clara wasn't just her niece but her own daughter, conceived in a youthful affair. Nora had been pressured by Aunt Eve to give Clara to their brother and his wife who could not conceive. However, the reality was darker: Eve orchestrated the separation to keep Nora from her lover, deceiving Nora and Clara's father about each other's intentions, thus hiding Clara's existence from him. To this day no one in town knows about this secret.
After Aunt Nora's passing, Clara came under the guardianship of Aunt Eve. However, fueled by grief and newfound determination, Clara refused to remain under Eve's control. Embracing independence, she left for California on a scholarship, despite Eve's objections. Four years later, armed with an Art History degree, Clara pursued an internship in London.
Feeling a pull to uncover her father's identity, she conducted a search and eventually connected with him in Argentina, his hometown. There, he was a well-known author and a university professor. He welcomed him with open arms and Clara decided to relocate to Buenos Aires.
Clara's life changed a year ago when she received a phone call about Aunt Eve's illness. Despite their strained relationship, Clara cared for Eve until her recent passing.
Now faced with unexpected wealth and the family's legacy, Clara finds herself at a crossroads. She contemplates the future, torn between selling the house and starting anew or staying in Wilmington.
⸺   THREE  ,     PERSONALITY
Despite appearing delicate, she possesses a quiet strength developed through facing loss and solitude in her childhood.
Formerly burdened by guilt and sorrow, she has worked on it and now considers herself very compassionate.
Clara empathizes deeply with others but guards her heart due to past betrayals, leading to a tendency to isolate herself.
While independent, this trait sometimes keeps her from forming the connections she secretly desires.
She approaches life with cautious hope and enduring courage, finding beauty in the world while staying practical.
Clara embodies contradictions: soft yet strong, open-hearted yet guarded.
Despite being sheltered for most of her life, she maintains a sense of optimism and a thirst for exploration.
Curiosity is Clara's driving force. She's endlessly fascinated by the world around her, constantly asking questions and seeking answers.
In moments of vulnerability, her true essence shines—a mosaic of strength and weakness, sorrow and joy.
⸺   FOUR  ,     HEADCANONS
She's a very good student. Her aunt Eve was very adamant that she studied another language and she chose French which she speaks fluently. After moving with her father to Argentina, she also learned the language although she still feels she needs more practice.
Clara started painting when she was ten years old, and many teachers throughout her life offered her to showcase her work but her aunt never allowed it. It wasn't until she was in university that she showed some of her work.
Her favourite painters are Caravaggio and Monet.
Hopeless romantic although she probably would never say it out loud.
Graduated summa cum laude from Stanford University with a degree in Art History. She did a year internship at the National Gallery in London.
Loves Karaoke but she still hasn't found her ideal song. She usually sings Feeling Good by Nina Simone or anything jazz or easy-listening as that was the type of music her aunt allowed to be played.
She also loves classic movies, her favourite film is Roman Holiday.
An avid reader, her favorite book is Wuthering Heights.
⸺   FIVE  ,     WANTED CONNECTIONS
Childhood Friend: They became best friends when they were seven, maybe they were neighbours. Her aunt Eve never approved of this friendship because maybe she believed this person was a bad influence on her niece. They grew apart when Clara left for college.
First Love: Clara's heart stumbled upon him unexpectedly, igniting a crush that silently bloomed from the very beginning. Despite her feelings, she remained reticent, stealing moments for conversation whenever her aunt's vigilance waned. Over time, their bond deepened, yet the prospect of a formal relationship remained elusive. Clara pondered the idea of staying in Wilmington to be with him, but in the end, she opted for university. Since parting ways, they haven't exchanged words, but thoughts of him linger in Clara's mind.
Local Art Scene in Wilmington: Upon returning to Wilmington to care for Aunt Eve, Clara might become involved in the local art scene, attending exhibitions, collaborating with other artists, or even teaching art classes as a way to reconnect with her passion and build new connections in her hometown.
Rivalry: Their interactions crackled with an unspoken animosity, each encounter a battleground of subtle snubs and veiled jabs.
Date gone wrong: Maybe they met on a dating app, and agreed to go out but it was a disaster. It could have been because there was no chemistry or because everything that could have gone wrong went wrong.
Confidant: This person listens without judgment, offers valuable insights and advice, and stands by Clara through life's challenges. They create a safe space for Clara to share her deepest fears, regrets, and aspirations, helping her navigate her past traumas and present struggles with resilience and courage.
Real Estate Agent: They are helping her with the family house as she is debating whether to sell or maybe buy another place.

Paper Rings- Chapter Twenty Three
Tumblr media
Ruby crumpled the flier in her hand, angry and scared tears filling her eyes, why was her father so determined to ruin her life?
*One year ago*
Big John and John B were arguing, again, Ruby was currently holding an ice pack on a bruise that was forming on her cheek.
“ no! I’m not letting you sell the Twinkie!” John B yelled, snatching the keys off the kitchen counter, “ I’ll buy you a new one! I just need the money-“ Big John started, “ the money? The money for what? This stupid fucking gold that doesn’t even exist!” John B fired back.
“ Ruby. Tell him that it’s real.” Big John said, both of them turning to look at her, “ Dad.. you’ve been doing this for how many years? Maybe you need to accept that it’s just a myth..” Ruby said quietly.
“ God you’re impossible.. you’re just like your mother..” Big John murmured and John B visibly cringed.
“ forgive me for not believing you dad. You disappear for weeks at a time. Leaving us with nothing while you’re out chasing something that doesn’t even exist!” Ruby yelled, throwing the ice pack down on the couch as she stood.
“ godamnit Ruby! I’m sick of your shit! I can’t handle you anymore.” Big John said and both twins froze.
“ dad..” John B said in a scared whisper, “ you’re done Ruby. I’m sending you away.” Big John said and Ruby looked at him in disbelief, “ dad-“ Ruby tried.
“ you’re going to Kitty Hawk. You need to get your shit straight and act like a proper young lady.” Big John said as he began packing his bag.
John B pulled Ruby close to him as they both walked out, “ you’re a shit father.” John B growled as they got in the Twinkie.
Neither one of them looked back.
*Now*
Ruby wiped her tears away and looked over at the shed, seeing JJ inside and working on her dirtbike, they never had a chance to finish hers.
She took a deep breath and tossed the crumpled up flier into the fire pit before making her way over to him.
“ you okay..?” JJ asked, “ yea, I’m okay..” Ruby lied, she couldn’t tell JJ she only had two weeks left, it would break him.
He nodded once and continued putting on the new chain, “ Sage called.. apparently Sarah overheard Rafe on the phone with Ward.. the cross is gonna be coming to Wilmington tonight on a train.” He said and she nodded, she didn’t want to think about treasure anymore, it was sickening to her.
“ one step closer to our dream baby” he said with a bright smile and she gave him a timid smile back, her heart pounding in her chest.
He would get their dream, but she wouldn’t be apart of it.

⸻ ♤ 𝐁𝐈𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐏𝐇𝐘 ⟨ the past ⟩
trigger warnings: i don't think there are any but i apologize if i missed something
Throughout the course of her life there had really only been one thing Tomiko Sakurai had been passionate about: art. In any form it came in, she loved it and always tripped in awe of it when she found herself in the presence of it. She was born and raised as a middle child to a pair of Wilmington’s elite somewhere among the mansions of Carriage Falls. Most of her youth was dedicated to ballet, her mother's choice and insistence, and she was quite good at it. The performances she was a part of caught the important eyes of some top trainers and directors all the way up in New York and as far reaching as London and Paris.
At her father's urging, Tomiko was also quite the impressive scholar, having read all the classics by the time she'd entered high school. She was a part of a literature society and had her own book club as a teenager. If she ever brought home a grade less than an A, Tomiko would be punished. Through all of that, whenever she found some peace and alone time, Tomiko escaped into the world of paints and brushes to canvas. She experimented with colors, textures, mediums, even the styles in which she painted. Everything she felt and endured was put onto canvas as a way of purging. When she couldn't paint she would sketch and draw in a notebook, finding little reprieves throughout the day when needed.
Aside from growing up with her family's wealth and prominence she'd always known that she was different. Not because of ballet or high achieving scholastics, but something further than that, something deeper and not well accepted in the south when she was growing up. Not within her Japanese culture either. When all of her friends were becoming boy crazy and chasing them around the playground, she was sneaking peeks at girls. This of course was kept a secret and something she kept buried within herself for years, only coming out when she was caught red handed by her father with one of her friends in a compromising situation.
That incident had her sent off to Paris where she attended university and worked to be a part of the ballet. Eventually Tomiko made it in, never a Prima Ballerina, but a principal dancer. It wasn't good enough for her parents who pushed for more yet still found it brag worthy. The biggest blessing being so far away from home meant that Tomiko had the room to be herself, find herself, and enjoy herself. It took some time for the strict regimen to ween off but she found herself with friends all over the city and beyond going to restaurants, cafés, art shows, concerts, etc. There was even time for her to paint freely, whenever she wanted, and never any shame in someone seeing what made it onto her canvases.
In Paris Tomiko was also free to date whom she wanted out in the open. Without the shame of her parents or their friends seeing. Without schoolmates judging. She was a new person in France, she was Tomiko Sakurai. Her first girlfriend was an art major at the university and after seeing Tomiko's paintings she introduced her to a curator. One thing led to another and all of her paintings sold out after a show. It hadn't meant that her art career began. Still she was under her parents thumb in many ways, afraid to rebel too much as she had been conditioned her entire life to please them. Tomiko continued to create and sell her work on the side of university and ballet. It wasn't until she received a phone call one day from one of her siblings that their father had been arrested on tax fraud charges. With that news something broke free within her and Tomiko said fuck ballet and left Paris with another girlfriend upon graduation.
They traveled around Europe for a while, spent extra time in Rome, but Tomiko eventually came home after her father was sent to prison. Some glimpses of his trial she'd caught on the news, she felt betrayed by him. The man's harsh rules and judgements had her living in fear for so long, away and outside of her true self, when all along he'd been the one that was wrong.
When Tomiko and her girlfriend settled in Wilmington, she used the money she'd made from selling her artwork to buy Bookish Bliss. Literature was still a passion of hers and she wanted to reclaim that from the years her father had dictated her enjoyment of the written word. Her witchy, spiritual girlfriend had convinced her to also buy Wiccan Ways, a witchy shop, so that she had something to do and something to run. And running was what she had ended up doing just over a year into Tomiko's hometown. The small town America life hadn't been for her she'd said in a note she'd left behind. So, Tomiko lives making art and running her shops. She doesn't know why she's kept Wiccan Ways other than it would always be a nice reminder of someone special at a special time in her life.

Authorities arrested seven people Wednesday on federal drug and gun trafficking charges in an investigation of two Harbor-area gangs’ ties to imprisoned members of the Mexican Mafia.
Wilmington is claimed by two Latino gangs, Westside and Eastside Wilmas, whose members consider Avalon Boulevard the dividing line between their territories, said Capt. Brent McGuyre of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Division.
“At the street level, they’re rival gangs,” McGuyre said. But those in the gangs’ upper ranks are “all answering to the same people” — the Mexican Mafia.
At a news conference at the LAPD’s Harbor station, Thom Mrozek, a spokesman for the U.S. attorney’s office in L.A., acknowledged that the people facing charges were mid- and low-level dealers selling to people on the street, not the traffickers responsible for bringing the drugs into the United States.
“Where the wholesale quantities of the drugs came in, it’s anyone’s guess,” he said.
But above those defendants, people with far more power were pulling the strings, authorities said.
One Westside Wilmas member, Raul Molina, is said by law enforcement officials to have been inducted into Mexican Mafia around 2004. Molina was not charged in the complaints unsealed Wednesday. But an FBI agent’s affidavit makes clear that authorities believe the 56-year-old, who has been imprisoned since 1995 for second-degree murder, is directing his old gang’s rackets.
In October 2022, an informant used WhatsApp to call Molina, who apparently had access to a cellphone, FBI Special Agent Hannah Monroe wrote in her affidavit. Although it’s illegal for an inmate to possess phones, they are easily purchased after being smuggled in by corrupt staff or dropped inside the walls using drones.
A few minutes after asking Molina for a drug supplier, the informant got a WhatsApp message from someone who introduced himself as “Speedy,” Monroe wrote. Agents identified Speedy as Daniel Nunez, an inmate on San Quentin’s death row.
Nunez, 47, was sentenced to die for murdering a Black couple, Edward Robinson and Renesha Fuller, in what witnesses described as a racially motivated attack. He has been behind bars since 1999.
The informant gave Nunez the WhatsApp number for an undercover law enforcement officer who was posing as a buyer of drugs and guns. Over the next five months, Monroe wrote, Nunez sold the officer methamphetamine, fentanyl and guns, negotiating prices and arranging delivery through associates on the street.
Outside a Food4Less in Torrance, a Big Lots in Lomita, a taco shop in South Gate and a doughnut shop in Paramount, drugs, guns and money changed hands — all arranged by a condemned inmate with a cellphone, according to Monroe.
Molina at one point made a video call to the informant who introduced Nunez to the undercover officer and asked whether Nunez was “able to make it happen for you guys,” Monroe wrote. The informant said he had, and thanked Molina for putting them in touch. Molina said Nunez was “the homie that makes it happen” and “puts everything out there.”
Molina and Nunez were not charged in the case.
“They’re already doing life and it’s so much more complicated logistically to prosecute those guys,” Mrozek said. By naming the men in the charging documents, law enforcement was signaling they know of the inmates’ crimes even if they were not being prosecuted, he said.
Patricia Limon, 53, of Lomita, was charged with filling several of the drug and gun orders the undercover officer placed with Nunez.
After Nunez agreed to sell the officer 5,000 fentanyl pills for $5,000, Limon told the officer to pick up the drugs in a Gardena shopping plaza from a “gringo” called “Chip,” Monroe wrote.
Lake Davis Pasley, whom Monroe described as an “associate of a white supremacist gang,” is charged with delivering a bag of pills totaling 225 grams of fentanyl. He has yet to enter a plea.
Limon is charged with delivering more drugs and guns in subsequent deals arranged by Nunez. She has yet to enter a plea.
After Cristobal “Stalker” Aguilar delivered guns to an informant at Nunez’s direction, the LAPD and FBI got a warrant to search Aguilar’s home in South Los Angeles. In a shed behind the house, they found 16.4 kilograms of meth, 2.5 kilograms of fentanyl, 1.7 kilograms of cocaine, a rifle and two handguns, Monroe wrote.
Aguilar, who has since been imprisoned on unrelated state charges, is charged with distributing a controlled substance and has yet to enter a plea.
In another case unsealed Wednesday, Bud John Phineas, who Monroe said is a high-ranking Eastside Wilmas member called “Ghost,” was charged with delivering five pounds of methamphetamine in a deal orchestrated from prison.
In October 2022, the same informant who contacted Molina sent a message to Gabriel Huerta, a reputed member of both Eastside Wilmas and the Mexican Mafia called “Sleepy,” Monroe wrote.
Huerta, 64, has been serving a sentence of 17 years to life since 1984 for shotgunning a man who had underpayed by $4 a woman whom Huerta was pimping in Wilmington, according to transcripts of his parole hearings.
At a hearing in 2017, Huerta said he’d pulled away from gangs two decades earlier and was trying to set an example for younger inmates by participating in self-help groups. “I’ve created new values for myself,” he said.
According to Monroe, the informant introduced the undercover officer to Huerta as a drug customer. “What exactly does he want??” Huerta asked. “Black? White? Or what??”
After some discussion of prices for methamphetamine, Huerta told the informant he would “have the homie get at him,” Monroe wrote. Ten minutes later, the informant got a call from someone who introduced himself as “Borracho,” Spanish for drunk.
Agents identified Borracho as Carlos Guadalupe Reyes, an inmate at Centinela State Prison serving 54 years to life for murdering his estranged wife in Carson in 2008.
After Reyes agreed on a price — five pounds of methamphetamine for $6,500 — Phineas delivered the drugs the next day, Monroe wrote.
Reyes and Huerta were not charged in the case.

The reassurance did pique Kimberly's interest as she listened attentively to Ariya's response. Being in Wilmington gave her the opportunity to try out new things to match her new comer vibe. Therefore, adding the water sport to the list didn't sound like a bad idea. "Oh yeah for sure, I agree that it's a part of the learning process." It was inevitable to avoid the effects of the water, but surely with practice it would get better. "Mmkays, Ariya...You're warming up to me and totally selling it. I trust your take on this. Let's exchange numbers so that we could keep in touch. Summer is practically here and I'm so down to try out a new hobby." She then handed her phone over so that the doctor could include her contact info.
Forcing out a smile, Kimberly chuckled softly and sighed at the idea of missing the family that drove her out of her home. A part of her was curious to know how they're doing, but did she miss them? Questionable and she couldn't bring herself to answer it in that moment. "Mhm, we're only human at the end of the day and adapting to change can be overwhelming. It's been two years, so I will say that I do feel settled in for the most part and I'm grateful that it worked out. I'm curious though, as a Wilmington native do you have a go to place or a must visit spot to recommend aside from the beach? I love exploring new places and so I thought I'd ask."
Tumblr media
Ariya laughed at Kimberly's question about dying while surfing. "No, no, you won't die, I promise!" She reassured with a grin. "I mean, sure, you might wipe out a few times and get some water up your nose, but that's all part of the learning process." She could empathize with feeling like a klutz, though. When she first started surfing as a teenager, she spent more time falling off the board than actually riding waves. But with practice, it got easier. "Trust me, I was a total klutz when I first started too. But the more you do it, the more natural it feels. And there's no better feeling than catching that perfect wave and riding it all the way to shore." The doctor smiled as she continued, "Plus, we'd start you off in shallow water with a big, stable board. I'll be right there beside you the whole time to give tips and make sure you're safe."
Shifting gears slightly, Ariya's expression softened with understanding. "I can only imagine how much you must miss home, especially with such a big transition and being so far from family." While she'd been lucky enough to grow up in Wilmington, she knew the challenges of having roots in another country. "Homesickness is totally normal. When I went to college, it was hard on me. But I hope you're starting to feel more settled here, bit by bit."

How a Specialist Can Help You Get Profits From Your Properties
What is the best way to go about finding a good company that can help you buy a home in New York? Many people do not know how the process actually works. If you have your own town, county or state it may be a bit more complicated, but in general most counties and towns will send a representative to meet with you and offer assistance to purchase your new home. Once you decide to use a We Buy Houses company you must then fill out a Request for a Money Offer form where they tell you how much money they would like to take from your down payment when closing.
To begin the selling process, you'll need to simply fill out this easy form with basic information about your home. This is a very online process, so no worrying about faxing, mailing or even contacting us by telephone. Once you complete the Request for a Money Offer form you'll be required to sign some more paperwork and then a title report. Once all of the required paperwork is completed you'll have your money and can move on to the real selling process.
One of the main pros to using a We selling my house now is that they are able to perform all of the necessary tasks that are involved in the selling process. This includes putting price quotes on your home, making repairs and inspections, and preparing home inspection forms. This means you'll have less work to do once you find a buyer. However, this also means that the company you choose might end up paying for some of the services performed. Some pros of this include that there is little work to do to prepare your property for sale, which is helpful if you're selling in a slow market.
Perhaps one of the cons to using a We Buy Houses company is that many brokers, as well as real estate investors, will use We Buy Houses as their main method for buying. While this is not bad in and of itself, it can mean that your home may not sell at the price you expect. Many potential buyers prefer to work with someone who uses an agency. When you work with a broker or an agency instead of a real estate investor, you can request a cash offer instead of a mortgage loan. A cash offer is what will be used to pay for repairs and other expenses associated with the house, such as closing costs and attorney fees.
The use of a broker or an agency can help minimize the amount of time spent during the selling process. The broker or agency will take care of most of the legwork, including preparing all of the required documents, arranging financing and performing the title and inspection on your behalf. While this can make the process quicker and save you time, it can also mean that your home isn't sold properly. Most agents and brokers will hold onto a copy of the home inspection report for up to 30 days, which means that they could potentially see problems with the selling process that weren't pointed out during the pre-listing stage. Because of this, it is imperative that you have the home inspection done by a qualified professional.
One of the most common reasons why investors choose to work with a company instead of an individual is because they tend to have better negotiating power. Most investors will need to enter into a seller agreement or seller financing agreement with the real estate company. This typically allows for more flexibility and allows for larger sums of money to be raised. If you are new to real estate investing, you may find that working with a specialist is a good way to go.  What is Paxful?
Paxful is a popular cryptocurrency-trading peer-to-peer finance platform.
Ray Youssef and Artur Schaback formed EasyBitz in 2014, which was later renamed Paxful, which comes from the Latin word "peace." When they developed it, they had one aim in mind: to make Bitcoin more accessible to all, from corporations to merchants.
Many of the world's major issues revolve around money, specifically how to earn and transport it. Sending money around the world is neither fast nor inexpensive, but Paxful has changed that.
Paxful is a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency marketplace that connects buyers and sellers for business. Paxful's availability of over 300 payment methods makes it extremely simple to find appropriate deals. Users have full power over their funds with us.Paxful is highly safe if you know how to mitigate risk and secure your account, in addition to our escrow system and dedicated 24/7 customer service. Paxful users get a FREE Bitcoin wallet when they sign up.
Paxful's peer-to-peer scheme eliminates boundaries and constraints. Consider your Paxful account to be your own personal financial passport. You can use it to submit money and purchase items from all over the world. With our Bitcoin affiliate program, you can start a company.
How to Buy Bitcoins on Paxful
Choose the amount of Bitcoins
Choose the currency you want the exchange rate
Select a payment method
Choose a seller and click “Trade”
Follow the payment directions and then press "Mark as paying."
Wait for the seller to release the Bitcoins.
It's worth noting that depending on the payment system and whether or not the seller is online, certain trades can be completed immediately while others can take longer.
For example, Paypal and gift cards are instant. Bank deposits, Western Union, and Moneygram take time because you must leave your home to deposit cash at their place.
 Currencies and Payment Methods
Paxful is a Bitcoin exchange that only buys and sells Bitcoin. The platform does not keep fiat currencies for users because the money is sent directly to the sellers.
Paxful sellers accept over 300 different payment methods, with credit cards, PayPal, Amazon gift cards, wire transfers, and Western Union being the most common.
Keep in mind that the exchange rates for various payment methods can vary. Non-refundable payment methods (bank transfers, cash, etc.) have lower exchange rates, while payment methods that allow chargebacks (credit cards, PayPal, etc.) have higher exchange rates.
 Paxful Fees
You won't have to pay any fees to Paxful if you buy Bitcoins from them. Depending on your payment method, as I previously said, different sellers can charge fees or a premium. Paxful charges a 1% commission to its sellers.
 Buying Limits
 Paxful has 4 verification levels-
Level 1-Verification via email and phone. The maximum bet is $1,000.
Level 2 – Level 1 requirements + ID verification. Limit is $10,000.
Level 3 – Level 2 requirements + address verification. Limit is $50,000.
Level 4 – Level 3 requirements + enhanced due diligence. No limit for this level.
To trade on Paxful at all, users from the United States must complete levels 1, 2, and 3, while users from the EU and Canada must complete at least levels 1,2 & 3 if they wish to withdraw any funds.
 Supported countries
Paxful is available in all countries except the following:
Sanctions against Burundi, the Central African Republic, Cuba, the Crimea zone, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, North Korea, the Republic of Congo, Somalia, and South Sudan Sudan and Darfur, Syria, and Yemen are only a few of the countries affected.
 How to Use Paxful Safely
I wanted to point out some resources that may help you solve any issues when buying Bitcoins through Paxful.
It's preferable to buy from Paxful's recommended sellers because they have a better reputation and are less likely to be scammers.
Never communicate outside of Paxful, and make sure everything is recorded inside the system so that moderators can assist you if a disagreement arises.
Make sure the person you're trading with is online, since unanswered orders expire after a certain amount of time, and if the seller isn't online, this can be inconvenient.
Release the payment from escrow only when you have complete control over the payment you get, that is, when it has been verified and is in your account. For "Pending" or some other equivalent status, do not release the Bitcoin from escrow.
If you can't afford to lose money, don't send it. It doesn't matter what website, system, consumer, country, or anything else.
 Frequently Asked Questions
 Is Paxful a Scam?
There are several online discussions on whether Paxful is legitimate or not. Paxful is, in my view, legitimate; but, there might be users on Paxful that are attempting to defraud you. This is true of eBay, LocalBitcoins, and OpenBazar, among other P2P marketplaces.
 Where is Paxful Located?
Paxful has offices in New York City, Hong Kong, Tallinn, Estonia, and Manila, Philippines, among other places. 3422 Old Capitol Trail PMB# 989 Wilmington DE 19808, USA is their mailing address.
 Final Thought
Paxful allows users to buy Bitcoins with almost every payment method imaginable. The user interface is highly intuitive, and while everything seems to be in order, there are a few things to keep an eye on.
First, double-check that you're getting a good exchange rate. The exchange rate will often hit 2x the “official” price of Bitcoin on conventional exchanges, depending on your payment process.
Second, to prevent being scammed, make sure your seller has a good reputation and has completed enough trades in the past. As long as you keep these two points in mind, the platform is a reliable way to buy (and sell) Bitcoins.

I Need a Better Way to Sell My House Now
If you are looking for the best way to sell my house now, then read this article. I will discuss the best way to sell my house fast and then make some money on the property. It is possible to sell your house quick, but it is not always easy. It takes time to sell real estate, especially if it is a large property. You need to find a good way to sell my house now.

An agency will list the property for you, and you would make money as the agent. There are many things to consider before using an agency to sell your house.
You need to consider how much time you are willing to spend we buy houses company. If you are just looking for some cash, then you will not have to put in very much effort. If you are getting ready to move out, then you will need to spend some time getting your house ready for sale. It would be wise to set up a budget before starting to work. This will help you see where you stand financially, and what you should expect.
When you list a house, you still need to advertise it. The best way to sell my house now is to get the word out. You can advertise online, offline, or both. You need to let everyone know that you are selling. You might want to get some brochures so that you can give them to everyone you know.

How Mary Janeway Services Work
There are many reasons why people decide to sell their property but one of the most common reasons is to investors who buy houses at a cheaper price. These companies buy homes in a little below market value, undertake all necessary repairs, and sell off the property for a tidy profit. However, if selling the property personally to another person is not an option, then this is an excellent method for distressed property owners to rid themselves of the burden of actually having to sell off the property on the open market. Instead of approaching a company to sell your house for cash, you can use a company that buys houses for cash.
It is possible to find a company that offers you cash for your house by searching on the internet however, searching is one thing and finding a company that will offer you cash for best way to sell my house  in this economy is a different matter. You should contact several real estate agents before choosing one to sell your property for cash so that you get several quotes in front of you. This ensures that you get the most competitive offer available for your home. When searching online, make sure that you go through at least three real estate companies because some will offer you a lower than fair price. You want to have some idea of the market value of your property so that when you contact the company, you know whether you are being offered a bargain or not.
There are two types of closing that the company will use to sell your house for cash. The first type is known as a "short sales" closing. When you sell your property for cash using a short sale method, you will still need to have the mortgage paid off before the sale takes place but the sale price will not be anywhere near what you owe the mortgage company.
The second type of closing that the company will use is known as a "short buy" or "contingency closing". This method allows you to pay the mortgage on the house but will require you to pay a down payment towards the future sale price of the property. In many parts of the country, you can receive a larger down payment than what you would with a traditional mortgage. In addition, when using a real estate agent, you will only pay them the amount of the down payment and not the full amount of the mortgage balance. This allows you to pay the mortgage company at a larger discount and obtain a better price on your home.
Your realtor should provide you with several different quotes from several different lenders when you decide to sell your property. The quote that the buyer's agent gives you is not the mortgage that you will be provided with after the transaction closes. It is only an estimate of the interest rate, closing costs, insurance, appraisal and pre-foreclosure assistance. If you are interested in obtaining a mortgage at a lower interest rate than what is estimated, your loan officer may discuss refinancing options with you. They may also be able to arrange a "contingency plan" for you in case you decide to use the down payment to pay for the purchase.
After the closing date, the We Buy Houses Company will begin paying for any necessary repairs. Any property that requires any major repairs will be paid by the buyer at 100% of the cost. Any property that does not require any repairs will be returned to you at no cost to you. Mary will also pay the balance of your mortgage at the close of each year.

February 2nd 2020 → At Automodeal with @owensfitzpatrick
Her arrival back in Wilmington had been anything but glamorous. Skipping a cab for a ludicrous amount of trains and busses, Penelope hadn’t actually gotten back into her apartment until 2am, and from the second she had arrived at home she had passed out on top of her duvet. For 24 hours she slept solidly, and it was only when she finally shook herself from sleep that she managed to leave the comfort of her bed and take a look around the place she had abandoned so ceremoniously. There were a pile of letters sitting on her mat, pushed through by neighbours under the door getting increasingly angry and red. A quick flick to try turn on the lights told her that those unpaid bills had come with consequences. On the corner table her phone glared ominously at her. Since switching it off before she had locked up her apartment, she hadn’t dared turn it on for fear of what awaited her -- though if she were being honest, she wasn’t sure which she was more afraid of; the barage of abuse waiting for her, or the idea that no one had even noticed her absence.
First things first though, she had to get her electricity and gas back on, and there was no way the bank was going to play nice with this one. Not after six months. She couldn’t even bear to think of the credit card debt she’d wracked up and not paid whilst she’d been away. Panicked she looked around, her gaze brushing over her car keys. Her car was her pride and joy. It had been a new model, chosen in the showroom, cash handed over on the spot. But times changed. And she had no choice. Which was how she’d ended up at Automodeal, making a deal with the devil to hand over her pride and joy. It wasn’t like she had anything left to sell at this point, any jewellery of value had gone long ago, and she could hardly sell her apartment. It was the best of a bad bunch. But that didn’t stop it feeling sordid and seedy. Signing away the last of her ownership of the car for the promise of money that day she stepped out of the office of the salesman and straight into the line of-

I GUESS THAT’S WHY THEY CALL IT THE BLUES.
DATE: MARCH 30st, 2019 TIME: 11:24 P.M. LOCATION: FITZPATRICK’S DELI MENTIONS: OWEN FITZPATRICK, COLLEEN FITZPATRICK, CONNER FITZPATRICK, GRAYSON FISCHER  @grayfischer , LUCAS REEVES @lucasxreeves, REN CAMERO @rencamero, MILES MORGAN @milesmorgan  TRIGGER WARNING: GUNS, THREATS OF VIOLENCE
It was late. Far too late for Owen to still be finishing up at the deli, but payroll was due by the next morning and the male just knew that if he didn’t get it done then, he’d have to get up early to rush through it. Not that he quite minded — the deli had always been a place of solace for the Fitzpatrick boy, his constant thirst for control ultimately being quenched the second he’d walk through those glass-paned doors. It was his kingdom, his palace to preside over, and there was absolutely nothing in the word that could possibly upset that balance.
“Are you sure you don’t want me to come by and bring you some dinner, love?”
Owen let out a sigh, inputting a couple of more numbers into the computer system as he tallied up some of his employee’s hours, the office phone resting between his shoulder and his cheek. “Ma, I’m fine,” he assured, not wanting her to go to any trouble. “You know the deli’s got plenty for me to eat. You forget that we sell food?”
A sigh came from the other end of the line. “No need to be a smart-ass, Owen Paul.” He chuckled at his mother’s response, unable to help himself. “I’m going to head ‘ta bed now. Remember to pick me up for church at seven-thirty sharp. Last time we were late, your aunt Erin had an absolute field day. Love you, sweetheart.”
“Alright, Ma. Seven-thirty it —” he paused, hairs on the back of his neck standing up straight as he heard a slight commotion coming from outside of the office. “ — uh, I love you, too. See you tomorrow.” He hung up, the phone, quietly opening up the cabinet underneath his desk and retrieving the pistol he kept handy. Unlike most of the other guys in the club, Owen didn’t carry guns on his person unless absolutely necessary — but, that didn’t mean he didn’t have them hidden for safety reasons.
Was someone really stupid enough to try and break in? Owen wasn’t quite sure, but what he did know was that he would have gotten notice if any of the guys were coming in. Not to mention he’d locked up hours ago, the only other person with a key being his brother, Conner, who was away at a music festival for the weekend. Bracing himself, he firmly gripped the small weapon, holding it by his side as he began to step out of the office and through the kitchen.
He tip-toed through the sandwich making station, beginning to hear voices coming from the dining area. His heartbeat quickened, not so much out of fear but more out of anticipation. It was the Crows — it had to be. After all, considering the turf war that the clubs were currently involved in, that didn’t leave him with many other options. Though, there was one other alternative, one that he probably should have seen coming from a mile away.
Their backs were turned, two men dressed in all black — both clad in some sort of protective vest that Owen couldn’t exactly distinguish. They were discussing something in a hushed tone, surveying the area before them for whatever reason. The male inched closer, beginning to weave around the counter, footsteps quiet and practically undetectable. He could almost make out some of the words on the side of the vests, hidden from his full eye-line, but he wasn’t concerned about that. What he was concerned about was the fact that his kingdom, his palace, was being invaded, and he would get to the bottom of it.
He had to.
He cocked the gun, opening his mouth to speak as he lifted the weapon in the air, when suddenly —
“FREEZE! GET ON THE FUCKING GROUND!”
More men surrounded him, guns much bigger than his drawn and aimed right at his head, his chest, his legs. It was then he could make out the words on their vests — FBI. Fucking hell, he felt like a moron, standing there completely paralyzed with shock.
He dropped the pistol onto the floor, the sound of it clattering against the linoleum sending a shiver up his spine as he lifted his arms up in the air and dropped to his knees. “What the fuck is going on?” he called out to whoever it was that would answer him, eyes averting to the floor as he was suddenly jerked back, handcuffs being placed around his wrist. He winced slightly at the gesture, the pain one that had been familiar to him in his younger, more reckless days. Except, this time, it felt ten times more serious, more crucial.
“Owen Fitzpatrick, you’re under arrest for laundering drug trafficking money through your place of business. You have the right to remain —”
"I know the fuckin’ drill, alright!” he shouted frustratedly as he was suddenly yanked upwards, two men suddenly grabbing him by the arms as they forcefully lead him towards the door. “You better get my fucking lawyer on the phone and —” and Lucas or Ren, he wanted to say, but he knew that now wasn’t the time to mention any names, not ones that could cause even graver consequences to the rest of the club. The last thing he needed was either of his buddies to get caught up in this mess themselves. “You don’t got shit — you don’t got any evidence or nothin’. This shit is absolutely baseless. Miles is gonna have a fuckin’ field day with this.”
The burly man holding him by the right arm let out a cruel laugh, his grip around Owen’s bicep tightening. “One of your loyal employees tipped us off. Guess you’re not as slick as you thought you were, Fitzpatrick.”
His eyebrows knitted together in confusion, growing silent as he was roughly lead to a squad car, tuning out any and all words thrown in his direction. After all, he had the right to remain silent, didn’t he?
One of your loyal employees tipped us off.
Loyal employees.
“Grayson.” He said quietly as one of the officer’s shoved him by the head into the car, the door slamming behind him. A wave of anger flooded through him, hands balling in tight fists behind his back as the betrayal set in. Grayson was the only one of his employees who had knowledge of the deli’s ‘number crunching’ practices, so despite everything in Owen’s head telling him not to believe it, that it had to be someone else, the evidence said otherwise.
Clearing his throat as another body entered the vehicle, he finally spoke up. “So, what, are you taking me to the county jail or something?” he inquired once the officer began to drive, eyes averting out the window as he looked into the darkness. A seemingly sadistic laugh bellowed from the man, his eyes looking through the rearview as he snuck a peek at Owen’s stoic expression.
“County jail? Fitzpatrick, you’re going to prison.” It was then Owen turned his head, meeting the other’s gaze through the mirror. “You’re in some deep shit.”
His body froze up once again, jaw clenching as he attempted to keep his facial expression unwavering unmoving. Prison. Prison. The city lights of Wilmington shone brightly through the dark of the night, with Owen being dragged away from it bit by bit. None of it felt real, almost like some weird fucked-up nightmare that he could never have predicted. Eyelids fluttering shut, the male took a deep breath, attempting to keep himself at bay for the time being — but not without uttering one last word as the car passed the last sign leading out of Wilmington, North Carolina.
“Fuck.”
