i love that some parts of fire emblem are like "hey remember that time Frederick put a commissioned propaganda piece of prince Chrom naked around the Shepherds army camp? that's so silly" and others are like "hey remember when Sigurd got incinerated alive in the home of his murdered friend while his wife and the mother of his child watched and had no memory of him" like isn't that so. ._.

In the Genealogy manga, a lot of male characters debate who is best girl based on looks and personality and decide that it's Seliph. That's not the cursed part

The cursed part is that one of the enemy generals also calls him a beauty and says he'll have to "take good care of him"

Hi out of demand: Arthur/Seliph Propaganda.

Seliph very pointedly *knows Arthur by name* when they first meet. Which by itself is a can of worms of implications regarding Arthur's pre Genealogy life but we're not here for that. The main thing is, Arthur exists as a stand in for life outside of Tirnanog. Arthur is a man who lived as a commoner and traveled and I think Seliph would be really curious about learning more from the mysterious cool Silesse freedom fighter he has heard about.

From Arthur's side, here is the thing. Arthur is a bit of a standoffish dumbass and he Can be a dick if someone annoys him. But if he cares for you he will protect will So Hard. And I think Arthur would enjoy the opportunity to talk about Silesse and himself to someone who thinks his skills are Really Incredibly Cool. Seliph is so earnest about his interest he Has to answer in kind and before long his want to awkward cat way of showing he cares would show up.

I also think that you can do some quite interesting contrast with Arthur's vengeance focus (that manifests as his personal skill, even!) and Seliph's own journey to defeat Arvis. How much does Seliph want that. How do the two feel after Seliph *does* kill Emperor Arvis and the emotional fallout of that. That and their relationships with their respective sisters gives one plenty for deep analysis paralleling

So yeah, look man, I just want anyone to give Seliph nice things. He needs a break so bad and I think Arthur could plan a real nice trip to Silesse for the two man. You know, just as Seliph and Arthur. Nothing grander than that
