What was your first impression when you met Soundwave and Fulcrum both in your universe with them and IRL? What are some random headcanons you have about them? 🧡 ~hopelessromantic-ghost

IRL Impression:

Soundwave: i first saw him when watching TFP and my general reaction was “oh, he exists” until that episode where he was an absolute little shit with the kids. Then I really began to look into him tbh-

Fulcrum: my first thoughts were “he’s very red” and “he’s cute!!”

In Universe Impression:

Soundwave: it depends on the universe. So for the four that I’ve developed the most: TFP Wizard is a bit unnerved due to their location in the Pits and the way he’s so quiet and could likely kill them without hesitation. On the other hand, IDW Wizard sees his presence as a comfort in the beginning (mostly due to his calm yet not cruel nature compared to who Shockwave had become). TFA Wizard sees him as someone who needs helping, to a point at least. G1 Wizard is basically swooning when they meet him.

Fulcrum: the Scavengers are a Mess if we’re being honest, but Wizard meets Fulcrum and they adore him. They find him very sweet and adore his intelligence. They crush on him almost immediately.

1. How old were you when you & your F/O(s) first met?So! In IDW canon Fulcrum is perhaps 2~3 million-ish? I’m Not Sure and Wizard is at least 4 million bc Cybertronian ages but I don’t have an exact one,,,,,

2. Did you & your F/O(s) get along at first or did it take time?They actually get along well enough. Wizard isn’t big on the fact that he, you know, lied at some point, but they’re not bitter. He didn’t betray them or anyone, really. Fulcrum is more open? Wizard is the only calm one other than maybe Krok so it’s mutual complaining about idiots sometimes.

3. Who asked who out first?Misfire slammed into Fulcrum’s room and asked him out for Wizard. This is a canon truth.

4. Where did you go on a first date?They watched a sunset on an abandoned planet because it’s the best Wizard could do.

5. Does your F/O have any silly nicknames for you?No, just Wiz.

6. What is your favourite thing about your F/O(s)?Fulcrum is really, really and amazingly brave, despite his place as a coward. He’s willing to give his life for the Scavengers, willing to stand up to the DJD. It’s really great! He’s also really smart and I’m down for the count.

7. Do you like to cuddle with your F/O(s)?Wizard cuddles people as much as they can and feel comfortable with so yeah.

8. Tell a funny story about your F/O(s)The impossible ask. I can’t tell funny stories. One of many weaknesses.

I can tell you that canon is a fucking trip and that Fulcrum saves the world through Jenga or something and I’ll never get over it.

9. When was your first kiss with your F/O(s)?Wizard doesn’t dive in head first- despite what the other Scavengers sometimes think- so the first kiss was probably a couple weeks to months after they first get together.

10. Who’s the big spoon?Wizard isn’t big spoon material, so it’s clearly Fulcrum.

11. Do you & your F/O(s) go out a lot or tend to stay in more?Stay in.

12. How do you comfort your F/O(s) when they are upset?I’m a physical affection person so therefore Wizard is physically affectionate so uh! Hugs are likely! More likely than verbal comfort.

13. What’s your favourite activity you & your F/O(s) do togetherIt might be something based in academia so perhaps historical readings? Fulcrum was forged during the height of the Decepticon Empire so it’s not much of a stretch that he might enjoy it and learn something from it. And it’s not like the W.A.P. is the most… entertaining ship on the planet.

14. What was your first argument with your F/O(s) about?Wizard does some Dumb Shit and Fulcrum gets Concerned. It probably starts bc Wizard is kind of passive aggressive when they feel like an argument is coming even if they’re wrong and sometimes when they don’t feel one’s coming.

15. Who cooks for who most often?If they did cook, it’d be Wizard.
