And naurr don't worry it's not personal at all :)) okay imma be completely honest with you,,,, I did not do any promo and I still don't know how promo works 😭😭 alsO I HAD NO FRIENDS WHEN I STARTED WRITING 😭😭 I DIDNT REACH OUT TO ANYONE AND PRACTICALLY HAD NO FRIENDS UNTIL LIKE THE NEW YEAR?? SO LIKE 2022 😭 but yess I did leave everything to likes and reblogs. When I first started out, I updated really frequently(?) Like three chapters a day 💀 so maybe my works were quite frequently seen in the tags (?) Tbh I'm not very sure,,,, but recently I found its a lot harder to start out bc I feel like a lot of readers left? And it's not as easy for people to notice work :(( but my only tip is just to make sure your works are neatly organized, neat and that you have a regular update schedule. When starting out, I think it's best to update more frequently so you don't lose your reader's attention. But abt the friends part,,, honestly the biggest way is to interact with their works and send them asks! People are genuinely really kind and won't turn you down if u want to talk. The most important thing is just finding smth you guys have in common. But yess if you're talking abt blr friends then def send them asks and interact with their works or their posts! I think that's the easiest way :))) ♡
