I THINK she gets picked up at Redstonia (because my friend's insert gets picked up at Boomtown.. it fits).. however i have not seen Redstonia myself yet so im kinda low on details!! i think her affinity for redstone isn't as strong as olivia's but its not something to sneeze at exactly either. i think she kinda has a flaky opinion of ellegaard but mostly wants to not rock the boat. eeverybody likes fennnnnn <3 NO but really the whole group is friends so. You know? shes very mild mannered and nice shes easy to like. she is kinda bristly with the OG order of the stone though so theres... some tension there.

Background(Note: I’m still in the process of writing this so it’ll seem like a mess til I get it finished all the way so please bear with me): Was born at The Citadel, making her a Squire(Since she was born into the Brotherhood of Steel). She was 5 years old when her parents(Angus Peyton Everston and Carmen Renee Ruth Everston) died to a SuperMutant Behemoth, leaving her in the care of Elder Owyn Lyons/Sarah Lyons and Leif Axel Gunnar. When she was 9(this takes place during the events of Fallout 3), she decided to leave with Madison Li to The Commonwealth. Leif was reluctant about her leaving at first, since she was basically the only like "family"(She looks alot like her dad, Angus, and Angus was Leif's Lover)he has left, but gave in and let her go, making her promise(also making Madison Li promise) to stay safe and hopefully that they'd meet again someday(They'd end up meeting during the Fire Support question for the Brotherhood of Steel. Also Alex and Nathan Ian Howard’s paths cross during this quest as well, making this the first time they meet). Alex has a family photo of her parents, Leif, Sarah, Squire Arthur Maxson, and her when she was 5. Also has one of her(When she’s 9), Conrad Kellogg, and Madison Li as well. Alex also went on missions with Kellogg since she was 16. When she was 18, she heard about Nuka-World(So this takes place in 2286), and went go it, and kinda made Fizztop Grille her lil getaway home?, well until Overboss Colter and the the gangs show up, Colter was her first? boyfriend?(He technically doesn’t die in my version of Fallout 4, but I’m also working out Alex’s background with @m-is-for-mungo​’s OC Lily Black’s background, and Lily kills him so. 😅😅😅😅), But ye in my version Colter never dies and stays Overboss, with Alex at his side(But she also ends up leaving for long periods of times lol), also they take over the parks, but don’t end up touching The Commonwealth.

As usual, my time-stamped thoughts for this episode are below. As always I reference Malcolm’s mental health. A lot. So if that’s going to be a trigger for you, don’t keep reading.

0:04 - That scarf is so extra.

0:26 - OH LOOK THE FIRST SUNSHINE SIGHTING OF SEASON TWO!!! It only took 8 episodes. *insert eyeroll*

0:40 - Ugh. This montage makes me hate Hoxley. He embodies the type of human I abhor: self-important, egotistic, obsessed with appearance.

1:19 - “No I didn’t.” LMAO. Mr. David is so done with Martin’s bullshit.

1:36 - That makeshift shiv in the dude’s arm.....that’s Daryl’s shiv from a few episodes ago right? Am I going crazy?

 2:25 - Sooooo Birdie hasn’t left New York? She’s moved into the Milton’s “Murrayville Building”. Huh. Wait. Was Birdie in the house when Malcolm and Ainsley fought? Do you think she heard?!? Birdie might become a problem for the Whitly’s later this season....I hope?

2:43 - Jessica doesn’t know about the contents of the fight. Interesting. How long has it been since the end of 2x7? 

2:58 - “I’ll be there at 8.” hahaha OMG. I swear Malcolm was a terror during his ‘rebellious teenager’ phase.

3:38 - Yep. This fog horn reinforces the fact that I believe Hoxley is a dick. 

3:40 - Awww.... the way Malcolm jumps/flinches at the fog horn is both hilarious and adorable.

3:58 - “And who the hell are you?” YES GIL. YES. Don’t let him talk like that to Malcolm <3

4:04 - Duuuuude. Gil looks pissed and scared. He does not like Europol snooping around his crimes. ALSO I’m like 95% sure that Gil knows (or at least has a hunch) that Malcolm is somehow involved with Endicott’s murder. I’m pretty sure Gil is scared that this dude is going to try and arrest Malcolm. 

4:07 - OMG. JT is adorable. “You’re that guy. The mind sleuth.” Personal headcanon: JT read Hoxley’s book to try and understand Malcolm better. 

4:22 - DANI IS MY QUEEN. SHE IS MY ICON. I LOVE HER SO FREAKING MUCH. “No.” This girl is fierce. <3

4:23 - <3 <3 Malcolm’s heart eyes, head tilt, and visible pride is so so so precious. THIS is why he’s attracted to Dani. She’s not afraid to assert herself. 

4:31 - “And then took in his son.” ....Okay, so this infuriated me. Nothing Hoxley is saying is untrue. BUT something about the way he’s saying it just gets under my skin. 

4:45 - I think Hoxley is pissing me off so much because he’s psychoanalyzing Malcolm in front three of the people Malcolm trusts and loves most in the world (3 out of a very very short list of people). He’s trying to humiliate Malcolm and I hate it. I hate that Dani, JT, and Gil haven’t told Hoxley to shut up. I hate that Hoxley is trying to drive stakes of doubt into the three people whose opinion Malcolm treasures. 

5:25 - “Aim a little lower, Whitly.” and and and.....then Hoxley looks to the team as though he wants them to laugh. I’m furious. 

5:32 - THANK YOU GIL. STEER THE CONVERSATION AWAY FROM MALCOLM

6:04 - Malcolm is so obvious. There’s no way that the team doesn’t know that he was involved with Endicott’s murder. If they didn’t before this episode - they HAVE to know now. Right? They’re detectives. Malcolm is a terrible liar. 

7:00 - Oh. So now Ainsley cares about the crime. Now it’s “how much trouble are we in”. And let’s be real. Ainsley doesn’t even seem very worried or scared. She’s concerned that the crime will get out - she’s not sorry she committed the crime. She’s not sorry that her big brother tried to take the fall for her. 

7:15 - “We said no more secrets.” ...when. When did you two say that? Was there a ‘fight part 2 - the tentative truce’ that we didn’t get to see?

7:33 - A mention of Sophie Sanders. Finally. I still hope she comes out of the woodwork and takes the fall for this. I want more closure on her. Did the team ever find out that Malcolm found her? How did the Eddie murder finally get resolved (I’m not satisfied with the “not every case gets solved” line)?

7:42 - Yo. I don’t care about the time constraint of a 45 minute episode. I don’t care that it was required to move the plot along. The fact that Ainsley starts typing frantically into the computer at about 7:42, stops typing at 7:47ish and has found at least 4 different articles relating to murdered random people (who apparently helped hide Endicott’s body?) is SO UNREALISTIC. I just can’t. I can’t suspend my disbelief on this one. The article headlines say nothing about ‘couriers’. It’s stuff like ‘Local fisherman found dead’. HOW THE HELL WOULD AINSLEY KNOW THEY WERE HELPING MALCOLM IN LESS THAN 10 SECONDS OF GOOGLING?!? Nope. I can’t justify this one. Fedak - you dropped the ball.

8:40 - Poor Malcolm looks terrified. :( 

9:04 - My first impression of Natalie was that she’s a beautiful young lady who seems really sweet and a little socially awkward. Kudos to the actress.

9:41 - Another mention of Sophie. God - I hope she becomes a twist in this season’s storyline. I’m not content with how her story arc ended. 

10:21 - “I didn’t have anything to do with Endicott’s death and neither did Jessica.” Yep. Gil definitely knows (or at least suspects) that Ainsley and Malcolm are somehow involved with Endicott’s murder. It’s killing me that we’re not getting the big “team and/or Gil find out and/or confront Malcolm about it” moment. 

10:31 - OMG. Alan Cumming’s eyebrow wag here. hahahahaha

10:35 - Look at how pissed off Gil is as soon as Hoxley suggests that he and Jessica have a romantic history. 1) Gil still has it bad for Jessica (and is hurt that she rejected him again 2) Gil’s a pretty private dude and probably doesn’t like his personal business being speculated upon by a total stranger with ill intent 3) Gil is also getting protective of the Whitly’s. Not just Jessica but Malcolm (and maybe Ainsley) too. 

10:58 - Europol agents aren’t allowed to make arrests?!? THEN WTF IS THE POINT OF HOXLEY’S CHARACTER?!? TO DRIVE DOUBT INTO THE MINDS OF THE TEAM WITH REGARDS TO MALCOLM?!? FOR REAL. WHY?! TO FORCE GIL TO ARREST MALCOLM AND AINSLEY?!?!

11:08 - “To watch you put the cuffs on Mr.Endicott’s killer. Deal?” “Deal.” oooooooohhhhhh no. I do not like the foreshadowing here. If Gil has to arrest Ainsley and/or Malcolm.....idek. Part of me wants to watch it for the emotional whump (of all parties - including Jessica). Part of me wants to ugly cry at the thought of it though.

11:39 - “How do you know so much about yachts?” ....THANK YOU JT. DANI HAS A STRANGE AMOUNT OF NAVAL KNOWLEDGE IN THIS EPISODE AND WE ALL KNOW “I watch a lot of Below Deck” IS UTTER HORSE CRAP. Ugh. I want to know more about Dani and JT’s personal lives. So. Badly. 

11:44 - <3 <3 <3 The look Malcolm and JT exchange when Dani claims that she watches a lot of Below Deck is absolutely precious. It’s like they’re best friends and/or brothers. They both knew Dani was lying. <3

11:54 - “At least he’s the real deal.” Ouch. I honestly can’t tell if JT is just teasing Malcolm here or if JT genuinely believes this. ....Is this JT’s way to letting Malcolm know that he has suspicions about his involvement with Endicott’s death?

12:06 - “Says the guy who bought his book.” HA. Dani is on fire this episode. The snark queen. Look at how pleased Malcolm is that Dani is defending him. <3 Warms my cold dead heart.

12:09 - annnnndd now JT is definitely teasing Malcolm. “What our boy Bright needs is a moniker.” hahaha watching Dani and JT come up with stupid profiler monikers was so cute. I love it when the team gangs up to (lovingly) tease Malcolm.

12:30 - “No. Nothing yet.” Again - Malcolm is a terrible liar. The team must know that he’s involved with this thing. They’re detectives. 

12:59 - Martin’s physical reaction to Malcolm saying, “No. That woman does not deserve to die.” Is HILARIOUS. Martin is so freaking desperate for Malcolm to become a serial killer that he doesn’t even care the Ainsley has already murdered someone. 

13:19 - “He has a perfect track record.”.....what? So does that mean he’s solved every case he’s ever worked on? Taken credit for solving every case he’s ever work on? Hand picked the cases he works on so he knows he can solve them? Probably a combination of the above. Sometime about Hoxley reminds me of Gilderoy Lockhart from Harry Potter. You feel me?

13:23 - The fact that Tom Payne (a Brit) is being told that Hoxley has “perfect teeth. For a Brit” by a Welsh man is hilarious.

13:34 - Does this fish packing joint have no security?!? Like Malcolm didn’t have to pick a lock or anything. He just walked right in (and he’s not being quiet).

13:51 - “I can think ruthless. I don’t know if I can be ruthless.” THIS. THIS is Malcolm in a nutshell. Think about Nicky Covington. Malcolm wanted to act ruthless but he couldn’t. He ended up saving Nicky because he couldn’t go through with his ruthless plan. That’s the difference between Malcolm and (quite frankly) the rest of his family. Jessica, Martin, and Ainsley can all be ruthless. All of them. Jessica on a lesser degree but Martin and Ainsley are confidently ruthless. Often.

13:57 - Ok. For real though. HOW HAS NO ONE OVERHEARD THESE PHONE CALLS BETWEEN MARTIN AND MALCOLM. THE PHONES HAVE TO BE TAPPED RIGHT?!? IN A SECURE MENTAL INSTITUTION FOR MURDERERS?!? and I stg that Mr. David knows things. That man is not a moron and he’s pieced stuff together (not from this scene obviously, but still).

14:13. - “Why don’t I break out.” The fact that Malcolm hasn’t mentioned that Martin wants to escape to anyone (since 2x4) is really stressing me out. I know Martin’s going to break out - the promos have made that very obvious but I’m still anxious about it. Mostly I’m worried for the health and safety of Malcolm (and Gil, Jessica, Dani, JT, Edrisa...).

14:17 - “We all go on the run together.” Martin is delusional. He thinks that the whole family will go on the run with him?!?!?  He might be able to convince Ainsley. He might be able to blackmail or threaten Malcolm. BUT Jessica? She’s not going willingly. Hell - she might kill him herself if Martin escapes and tries to come near her (which.....I would actually kind of like to see).

14:48 - The fact that Malcolm apologizes to a corps is so precious. Really reinforces the fact that Malcolm is not a killer. 

15:00 - Oh look. Another scene for Malcolm’s nightmares. “The time I cut off a dead guy’s thumb to protect my sister”

15:24 - annnndd Malcolm is really close to having a panic attack. Look at that face. :( Someone give this guy a hug. Please.

15:34 - Where the HELL is Edrisa!?!?!?

15:42 - Malcolm, you utter moron. What possessed your stupid ass to show up at a crime scene with a soaking wet arm and draw attention to your arm by shaking it?!?! WHEN THE BODY WAS JUST DRAGGED OUT OF A VAT OF WATER. AND YOU TAMPERED WITH THE BODY?!!? YOU DUMBASS. 

15:52 - This is Gil - terrified. He’s scared because 1) he knows Malcolm is lying , 2) he’s concerned for Malcolm’s mental health and 3) he’s starting to think that either a) Malcolm killed this guy, b) Malcolm knows who killed this guy and is obstructing justice, or c) Hoxley is going to pin this on Malcolm and Gil won’t be able to save him.

16:14 - “I’m never buying frozen fish again.” hahaha Dani is killing it this episode. <3

16:23 - Check out how Gil is staring at Malcolm. Gil totally thinks Malcolm has the thumb.

16:50 - “Older model” Shit. Seriously? Are finger print scanners on phones old?!? My phone isn’t that old......I got it 6 years ago? 

17:16 - MALCOLM IS A TERRIBLE LIAR. Honestly, the pure terror on his face throughout most of this episode screams “I KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT THE MURDER.” If the team hasn’t pieced this together yet they’re not worthy of being detectives.

17:29 - I’m not going to lie. I had to fast forward through the Martin/Capshaw scenes for the rewatch. I find them so upsetting to watch. I just can’t do it more than once. Their whole dynamic is gross, creepy, and just ugh. 

20:00 - Jessica and Hoxley talking about Endicott’s death is so satisfying. 

20:35 - “Jessica Whitly. Played for a fool. Yet. Again.” Ok Hoxley. You are not allowed to disrespect my girl Jessica like that. 

21:10 - The biggest problem with Jessica and Gil’s “mock interrogations” by Hoxley is that neither of them mention Ainsley or Malcolm. It’s super suspicious. They mention other people by name. People who should be connected to Ainsley and/or Malcolm given the context of the sentence. Hoxley is a moron for not nailing Ainsley and Malcolm for the crime during this episode. It’s so so so obvious.

21:19 - hahahahahahahaha Jessica grabbing the martini out of Hoxley’s hands. hahahahaha I stan.

21:35 - annnnnd Jessica is a terrible liar as well. Seriously - why doesn’t she just say “ENDICOTT WAS KILLED OVER HERE!!”. Another parallel between her and Malcolm though. Malcolm + Jessica can’t lie well. Ainsley + Martin are expert liars.

22:54 - Again. Ainsley is intrigued at the fact that Malcolm has a thumb in his freezer. Much like Martin would be if he knew. Jessica on the other hand shares Malcolm’s fear and disgust about the situation.

23:00- “We”?!!?!? AINSLEY YOU HAVEN’T DONE ANYTHING. MALCOLM HAS BEEN COVERING FOR YOUR ASS. YOU JUST HAVEN’T TURNED YOURSELF IN AFTER YOU REMEMBERED. THAT’S YOUR ONLY CONTRIBUTION TO THE “KEEPING ENDICOTT’S MURDER A SECRET” SITUATION. 

23:07 - “Do you even see what you are doing to him.” This line both terrified and delighted me. On one hand - I’m grateful that Jessica can see how much emotional pain Malcolm is in because of this situation. One the other hand - Ainsley looks pissed that Jessica is blaming her for Malcolm’s general brokenness. If Ainsley goes full serial killer - Malcolm is going to be on her list. “The brother that overshadowed her.” “The favourite child” “The reason she had to be a perfect daughter” “The reason she was ignored”

23:32 - “Got it.” Damn. Ainsley is bitter. She wants to control this situation. She doesn’t like taking orders from Malcolm. 

25:00 - MR.DAVID IS RIGHT THERE. IF HE DOESN’T BLOW THE WHISTLE ON THIS I’M GOING TO BE SO DISAPPOINTED. 

25:12 -”The Brain Fart” hahahahaha OMG. 

25:53 - “You’re being rude Hoxley.” ......Martin being the nice guy? I’m genuinely disgusted.

26:26 - “Your son Malcolm.” THIS. THIS is why Ainsley is so pissed off. Everyone has always thought Malcolm would turn out like Martin. Ever since they were kids. She’s pissed off that no one considers her to be a threat. They’re all concerned for and scared of Malcolm. Not her. She’s invisible. Why do you think she became a TV reporter? To force people to see her. 

26:50 - I’ve never wanted to Martin to kill anyone more than I have in this moment. I do find Martin’s protective love for Malcolm interesting though.

Ainsley had something to gain - “A news story.” Jessica had something to gain - “safety”. But Malcolm? He didn’t personally have anything to gain. He wanted his Mom and sister safe but he never thought about himself. 

30:11 - “Perhaps the murder weapon is still among your mother’s silver.” I find it interesting Hoxley has pieced that together. I also find it highly unbelievable but that’s just me. 

30:15 - Hoxely, rich people don’t carve their own Christmas roasts. The Whitly’s have staff for that. 

30:24 - “You’re still just a scared little boy. Hungry for daddy’s love.” Ouch. It’s true but it still hurts. This is not helping Malcolm’s mental state. At all. Istg if we don’t get a Malcolm mental health crisis soon I’m going to have my own mental health crisis. Seriously. I want to see this boy lose it. I’m a monster. I know. I want ugly crying. I want panic attacks. I want him to go catatonic. I want someone to comfort him.

I think their whole dynamic is upsetting and creepy. I’m like 95% sure that Capshaw is a serial killer on the DL. Or at least some sort of psychopath. Martin and Capshaw are both manipulating each other and it’s too stressful to watch.

not much is known about courier six, even to her. after being shot in the head twice, her memory of her past has become almost completely lost to her. she can remember her mother's face, but not her name or home. she can only remember taking the job for the caps, but nothing outside of receiving the package and then being shot in the head, though even that is blurry in her mind. gut instinct tells her she had a brother, though whether he's still alive or not is also lost on her. she only really remembers waking up in goodsprings, but the nightmares show her flashes of her past that she can never seem to remember.

boone jokingly asked her once "do you know who your dad is?" in front of mr. house and moth about lost her shit, scrambling to explain it's an inside joke, that she absolutely didn't start calling herself his daughter and that it was just a silly little joke. he sighed and told her, in response, "be careful with that joke. I worry you'll slander our good name if you do the wrong thing and people hear you calling yourself my daughter."

she flirts a lot without realizing because of her high charisma stat, but when she's being flirted with, it's like talking to a brick wall

moth used to flirt with swank before she had to go and take out benny. now, he won't even acknowledge her, which hurts her a lot because she actually likes him and knows she has no chance now

she also flirted with boone and he was shocked but brushed it off once he realized she didn't know she was doing it.

of course, when she seriously flirts with boone, he doesn't realize it until the last second and she has to act like nothing was happening

Then strolled along the Haymarket Jermyn Street., Regent Street to the end of Pall-Mall, thro’ St. James Square home – Sauntering leisurely turning up and down to look about me – Breakfast at 9 1/2 – went out at 10 10/60 – 

Mr. Webb went with me to shew me the Jews’ synagogue (Danemark Court, Exeter Street Strand) – Went thro’ Leicester Square – 1/4 hour at the synagogue – Much disappointed – A dirty shabby place, yet they say, quite as good as that in Duke’s place near Houndsditch – But it seems, their grand place, where the tabernacle is, is in the minories – the Jew do not like to admit strangers – Cordingley met us just come out of the chapel (I had sent her at 9 to Mr. Truefitt to take a lesson in hair dressing) – 

Went to the sitting magistrate Hatton garden – Only 2 magistrates there this morning (got there at about 11), the one Mr. Flower, the other (the most gentlemanly) who behaved to me so like a gentleman yesterday – 5 40/60 p.m. Interrupted here by dinner – 

Mr. Webb soon brought up a roast leg of mutton and a newspaper asking me if I would like to look at it – I casually answered yes! He said there was business at Hatton Garden in it – He had never thought of its getting into the papers, and now it would be in them all – ‘Ah!’ said I, ‘the thought and fear of it just struck me last night – I am very sorry for it’ – It was the Times newspaper of today – 

The whole thing very fairly put in – At the moment I felt mortified and annoyed at the idea of what a quiz it would be against me – Mr. Webbe saw this, which was probably more than he expected – I soon, however, grew reconciled as I always do, and told Mr. Webb when he came in again I could not help laughing at the thing, and did not know before that I was like a foreigner – “a lady whose habiliments and address bespoke her of foreign extraction” – 

Told Mr. Webbe, if my uncle saw, it would a laugh against me forever – The truth was, I thought first of the Saltmarshes and that it would be in everybody's mouth at Halifax – 

But to return to my this morning’s visit in Hatton garden – I walked in to the magistrates room – It seems, by the newspaper, Mr. Rogers was the 3rd magistrate yesterday and Mr. Laing the gentlemanly man to whom I felt most obliged – 

I bowed and told him I had brought Mr. Webb – Mr. Laing appeared to smile, just said if I would give my name and address the permission should be granted – I asked if my name would not be sufficient. On his answering, ‘No!’ They were obliged to be particular whom they admitted – only to admit ladies and gents – Immediately wrote Miss Lister Shibden Hall Yorkshire, and Mr. Laing desired a clerk to write an order for me and my servant Elizabeth Wilkes Cordingley and Mr. Webb to see the tread-mill and the interior – I bowed, said I was much obliged the the gents, and retired – 

The order procured us instant admittance, the utmost civility, and a sight of the whole interior – I asked the matron (a very nice woman who shewed the womens’ apartments, if she often shewed them – She said yes! But it required a particular order from the magistrates – And that this order (by which we were admitted), must have been a very particular one – 

A most gratifying sight to see the prison so clean, and healthy, and orderly, and altogether in such excellent discipline – About 250 men and women and children – The men and women have 1 1/4 lb. bread a day, a pot (would hold a quart, I think at least) of gruel a day, and 6 oz. of meat every other day, and on the intermediate days, soup made of what the meat (beef, I understood) was boiled thickened with oatmeal and vegetables – 

The women far worse to manage then the men – The matron would have less trouble with 500 men than 10 women – The young women (in their teens) the worst – And the man told us, the boys were much worse than the men – He thought there was more vice among them then any set of people – 

8 20/60. I have just had Mr. Webb who came with the Courier newspaper (a little different from the Times, not less civil to me) and begged to say, he thought perhaps I had best write something in reply – Had best write a handsome letter to the editor of which paper I chose (I preferred the Courier) – I shall think of this a few minutes – 

Began to write some – Buckley came with my pelisse – It does not fit at all – A great deal too large – Then the person from Waller’s brought my stays – Luckily, these do very well – At last, at 10 1/2 sat down and finished (altered the whole style of what I had written before) the following:

 “To the editor of the Courier – 

Sir – I have this moment read in your paper of today, the account of my applying yesterday to the magistrates of Hatton Garden for permission to see the treadmill at Cold Bath-Fields prison – I am surprised and sorry to find myself so unexpectedly intruded on the valuable space of your paper, having been perfectly thoughtless that so unimportant a circumstance could have been deemed worthy of notice; but since the matter has been made public, I feel desired that my motive should be divested of the “scientific” nature to which it has been attributed, and reduced to the simple wish of examining for myself the merits or demerits of the tread-mill. 

I beg to express my thanks to the magistrates for their order of admission, which procured me not only access to the whole interior of the building, but the most obliging civility and attention from the matron and other attendants, on whom the apparent health and civil manners of the prisoners, and the perfect neatness and cleanliness of all the rooms, reflect the highest credit – 

I cannot help feeling persuaded from the case with which all the prisoners, male and female, seemed to perform the exercise of the tread-mill, as well as from the short trial I myself made of it, that the labor is not so excessive as it has been represented, nor by any means so great as that daily undergone by a large portion of the lower classes of society – 

If this determination never to condemn even in my own mind (for I presume not beyond this) any institution sanctioned by the proper authorities of my country, till I have taken all the pains in my power to procure the best possible information on the subject, – 

If such a determination, tho’ however in the present case too hastily or ignorantly pursued, can at all excuse the singularity and perhaps informality of my application to the magistrates, I shall be much obliged to you to insert this letter in your next paper, and am Sir, your honourable servant A. Lister”–

Sent for Mr. Webbe – read him the above – He thought nothing could be better and was for my sending it – But I had determined to let the matter rest, and merely wrote this, that he might not think I could not do it – 

Told him I should not like the notoriety of the thing – Should bring John Bull upon myself, etc. etc. and should be absent into the bargain, etc. and Mr. Webbe finished by agreeing I was right, tho’ I plainly saw he would have liked the notice into which I should probably bring myself – 

I told [him] I could bring myself into notice any time, but it would not suit me now. John Bull would sift out everything. And my uncle, tho of an old family and good fortune, did not live in that style, would bear me out at present as I should wish – 

But to return once more to the morning – After leaving the prison Mr. Webbe walked with us in search of South Crescent (Alfred Place Tottenham Court road) – It seemed a pretty long walk thro’ Brandenburgh, n! Mecklenburgh Squares, and thro’ an abundance of new streets –

Knocked at home 3 in the crescent – Asked for a wrong person, merely to find out that Mr. James Vallance lived there – A dirty woman servant came to the door – A simple house, like all the rest in the crescent – 4 stories high including the cellar kitchens – But I think the V– [Vallance]’s must be a vulgarish set – 

Returned by the Soho bazar – Mr. Webbe shewed us all over it – Got home at 2 – Thanked Mr. W– [Webb] for his civility – The poor man had spoken most handsomely of his wife, and seemed to like to talk of her – He seems impressed with a considerable of my talents, and importance, physical strength, walking, riding, etc. etc. 

Asked him about the expense of living in London – or of having lodgings or being at an hotel – He thought I could keep myself a maid and 2 men at an hotel very handsomely for 3 guineas a day, and a couple of horses would cost me a guinea a week each at livery – 

My cloth boots pinched me – Changed them and went out again directly – Took Cordingley to shew her the Burlington Arcade and Western Exchange bazar – Then sent her home – 

Sauntered slowly along myself to 166 Strand, and bought (at Dobson’s) a self-pointing pencil – Did npot much like the manners of the man, but found his pencil 3 /. [shillings] cheaper than in the Exeter change [Exeter Exchange], where I bought a small mariner’s compass in a brass case 4 /. [shillings] – 

Then sauntered all along Regent Street and Portland Place, and Park Crescent across the new road a little way into the Park – The entrance paris style portico and steeple of all souls church at the far end of Regent Street very beautiful – The circle not quite finished – Regent Street and the tout ensemble Portland Place, etc. magnificent – 

Met with a seal cutter No. 260 who would cut a fancy seal (a violet and il faut me chercher) for about 12 /. [shillings], ladies’ arms 1 1/2 guineas, gentlemans 2 guineas, without a motto, and 2 1/2 with one – Silvester No. 27 Strand would charge 18 /. [shillings] for the fancy seal, 2 guineas for a lady’s arms, and 2 1/2 for a gentlemans – Cheaper than Halfhide – 

Got home at 5 20/60 – Washing my hands, etc. Dinner at 5 40/60 – The occupations of the evening are given out of their place – Above – Very fine day – E [one dot, treating venereal complaint] O [no dots, marking discharge]. 

Settl[ed my accounts (sent Cordingley to bed at 11) and went to my room at 12 40/60. Then packed, which took me till 2 3/4 –

In the Mount Pleasant area of Clerkenwell, London the prison was originally run by magistrates and housed prisoners on short sentences of up to two years, and also served as a debtor's prison. It took its name from Cold Bath Spring, a medicinal spring discovered in 1697. The prison housed men, women and children until 1850, when the women and children moved to Tothill Fields Bridewell, leaving only male offenders over the age of 17. Despite its aspirations to be more humanitarian, it became notorious for its strict regime of silence and its use of the treadmill.

yes man baybee! she thinks that the other major factions are bastards (legion aversion for obvious reasons, not a fan of the ncr after seeing how they treat their poorer citizens, mr house is an apathetic capitalist asshole). Also she’s just good friends with yes man, because I as a player can never be mean to yes man

2) preferred armor?

just regular combat armour! prefers to keep it simple

5) SPECIAL stats?

I had to go back and check because I haven’t played her in a while, but by the end of the game she had S-6, P-7, E-7, C-8, I-7, A-7, L-6

I think the ones I was trying to focus for her character were charisma, int, and perception

Usually travels with boone, they’re buddies! They generally rely on eachother for emotional support etc. . She’s also friends with arcade and occasionally travels with veronica.

Oh she’s big lesbian! I haven’t actually thought about her ethnicity that much. she started off as a semi-self insert before I actually thought about fallout ocs so she might be mixed? I’ll have to get back to you on that one

not really, but anything gay and high energy works. I have billy joel’s vienna on my playlist and sometimes when I listen to that I associate that with her

21) what do they look like? how tall are they? are they attractive? any piercings, tattoos, scars?

she’s short and a little scruffy, I don’t have anything specific in mind yet but I’d like for her to have tattoos. she has general scars from being hit in battle, and the bullets from benny left a scar from the top of her forehead back into the hair line. at the start of the game she had dark red-ish brown hair pulled back into a messy ponytail but after a while she shaved it off into a very short buzzcut.

Chaotic good, I like to think she’s a generally good person. My other courier is a chaotic bastard though so it balances out sdjhfg

Unboxing: StyleGenie’s Surprise Me Express Smart Casual Box

Note: This is a post that was in my queue way back November 2017 and StyleGenie has up their game. I'm thinking of availing a box again just to compare it from this first try, haha. Anyway, please keep in mind that I wrote this months ago which makes the possibility of StyleGenie having a different service (probably better) than the time I tried it!

Hello, friends! This is a blog post that is different from all my other posts, but this is just something that I’ve always wanted to venture into as a blogger. This is a Surprise Me Express Smart Casual Box from StyleGenie, which claims to be the first ever style subscription box in the country. Being someone who always dresses for comfort, I wanted to try something different and let the stylists from StyleGenie pick an outfit for me to wear.

Before I get started on the unboxing part, I’ll give a quick run down with how I managed to receive this box. My curiosity for this service has been in my mind for weeks already and then one random day, I read a Facebook post of theirs saying that from a box of 899, I can get an Express Smart Casual Box for only 500! I got it for a total of PHP 599 since the shipping fee was PHP 99.

Alright, first thing’s first: creating a profile. You can either click the “Get Styled” button from their homepage or the “Create a Profile” option from their menu. On to the Create a Profile option, you will be asked if this is your first time filling out the quiz, if you’re updating your answers, or if you just want to order again. You will then be asked of the reason why you’re opting to try StyleGenie out. I personally chose option C: “It’s time to update my look”. Because like what I said earlier, I wanted to try something different. I wanted to see how other people will style me without staying with my go-to comfort clothes, which are usually consists of a shirt, jeans, and a pair of sneakers.

The next steps include the basics and it even asks for your skin tone (which helps the stylists maximize the potential of the outfit), size (self-explanatory), height, and even the specific sizes of your bra, shirt, and pants. This will really make sure that the size/s of the outfit you get, if not perfect, is near perfect fitting. The next batch of questions include your preferences. This section includes the features you’d like to emphasize, and other body parts you’re a bit uneasy to show. They’ll also ask you with colors and patterns you love and not love wearing. To be even more specific, you can provide links of outfits you really like and even your style icon!

So that’s the whole quiz experience. It then follows the usual steps of ordering online: personal information necessary for shipping, payment details, order confirmation, payment confirmation, and the actual shipping of the box. It took a week after ordering and 4 days after payment confirmation until I finally received my order.

Ta-dah! I love the personal touches of the box. It gave me that special treatment kind of vibe. It’s really simple but it let me know that this service really is hands on with every order they get.

The box isn’t the sturdiest but it’s an okay quality kind of packaging. If you look closely, you’ll see a few creases on the top part. I guess it all depends on the courier’s handling. The thing about the packaging though is that it’s not sealed, and you can easily slide it and open the package. This could be an issue but I guess they trust their couriers so much so I guess that’s fine. Or maybe it’s because I’m from Metro Manila and it doesn’t take much time for the actual shipping. I don’t really know, hahaha. Anyway, opening the box reveals this wrapping paper with the pattern of their logo, just like the box.

As you open it further, you’re surprised with a handwritten note personally from the stylist plus a bonus of a discount code when subscribing to a monthly plan! The handwritten note was a lovely touch. Knowing my sentimental and old school self, I’m such a sucker for these things and this definitely made my day, besides the thrill of receiving my order.

For the Express Smart Casual box, I received two items for an outfit. A pleated velvet skirt and an off-shoulder top. This is what the stylist, JP, called in his note as a “classic-romantic” look.

Each of the item has a tag that says “Do not remove this tag. Items can only be returned if tag is still attached and garment is unworn except for trying-on.” The bottom part has a link for more information on their exchange policy. (Yes, no refunds, just exchange.) When I ordered this, they used to have a 7-day allowance for the request for exchange. But they recently updated it to a 30-day allowance. You can read more about it here. 

The first item from the box is this gray pleated velvet skirt that runs from my waist to a few inches under my knees. It has slits on its side and adds a more feminine touch to the clothing. It also has a layer of thin, somewhat sheer, black cloth underneath and runs until the start of the slit. I do have a few issues about this piece, though. The garter is like an inch and a half thick and it looks distracting for me. It just looks bulky when worn. The garter also sometimes twists in a really awkward way and I had a hard time trying to fix it back. But like what I said, I’m all for trying out something new that’s why I decided to keep this in my wardrobe. I thought of wearing this for Halloween (I went as a generic witch, lol) but I can’t find a top I already own that I can pair with this skirt.

The next item is a black off-shoulder top. I’ve always wanted an off-shoulder top and it made me kind of like this piece. The details on the sleeves were a cute touch too! You can tie the ends as a ribbon and adds a bit of character to the outfit.

One thing to note is that the material is sheer so even if it’s black, you can still somewhat see through the fabric. I’m not in love with this piece but it’s something new to my wardrobe and I know that there is a big possibility that I'll use it in the near future.

If I were to wear both pieces in an outfit, I don’t really think I’ll be comfortable wearing them. To be honest, I’m quite confused if they’re really meant to be worn at the same time because I don’t see it forming a cohesive outfit. I’d insert a photo of me wearing the outfit, but I haven’t had the time to do that, hahaha. I did try it but I didn’t like it. But I’m open to trying the pieces on separate outfits.

The whole experience was really fun and I’d love to do it again. It was such a thrill to order something not knowing what you’ll receive. It’s like buying yourself something for Christmas with the actual element of surprise in it. It’s also such a lovely experience knowing that actual stylists evaluated your quiz and your style; and that they came up with an outfit that they think would look great on you.

As an overall review of the whole service and the items, I’d give it a 3 out of 5 because despite it being such a fun experience, I honestly think that the materials aren’t the best. It’s okay that I got it on sale but if I were to buy it for the regular price with this quality, I’d opt for something else. But on another note, it’s the actual experience that I really value from this service. I just hope they’ll up their game when it comes to the quality of the items. But, yes, I’ll be on the lookout for more discount codes and promos and I might try their other boxes as well.

Breakfast at 9 1/2 – went out at 10 10/60 – Mr Webb went with me to shew me the Jews’ synagogue (Danemark Court, Exeter Street Strand) – went thro’ Leicester Square – 1/4 hour at the synagogue – much disappointed – a dirty shabby place, yet, they say, quite as good as that in Duke’s place near Houndsditch – but, it seems, their grand place, where the tabernacle is, in the minories – the Jew do not like to admit strangers – 

Cordingley met us just come out of the chapel (I had sent her at 9 to Mr Truefitt to take a  lesson in hair dressing) – went to the sitting magistrate Hatton garden – only 2 magistrates there this morning (got there at about 11) the one Mr Flower, the other (the most gentlemanly) who behaved to me so like a gentleman yesterday – 

5 40/60 p.m. interrupted here by dinner – Mr Webb soon brought up a roast leg of mutton and a newspaper asking me if I would like to look at it – I casually answered yes! He said there was this business at Hatton garden in it – he had never thought of its getting into the papers, and now it would be in them all – ah! said I, the thought and fear of it just struck me last night – I am very sorry for it – It was the Times newspaper of today – the whole thing very fairly put in – At the moment I felt mortified and annoyed – I soon, however, grew reconciled as I always do, and Told Mr Webb when he came in again I could not help laughing at the thing, and did not know before that I was like a foreigner, – ‘a lady whose habiliments and address bespoke her of foreign Extraction’ – Told Mr Webbe, if my uncle saw, it was a laugh against me forever – the truth was I thought first of the Saltmarshes and that it would be in everybodys mouth at Halifax – 

But to return to my this morning’s visit in Hatton garden – I walked in to the magistrates room – It seems by the newspaper Mr Rogers was the 3rd magistrate yesterday and Mr Laing the gentlemanly man to whom I felt most obliged – I bowed and told him I had brought Mr Webb – Mr Laing appeared to smile, but said, if I would give my name and address the permission should be granted �� I asked if my name would not be sufficient on his answering no! They were obliged to be particular whom they admitted – only to admit ladies and gentlemen – I immediately wrote Miss Lister Shibden hall Yorkshire; and Mr Laing desired a clerk to write an order for me and my servant Elizabeth Wilkes Cordingley and Mr Webb to see the tread-mill and the interior – I bowed, said I was much obliged to the gentlemen, and retired – 

the order procured us instant admittance, the utmost civility, and a sight of the whole interior – I asked the matron (a very nice woman who shewed the womens’ apartments) if she often shewed them – she said yes! but it required a particular order from the magistrates – and that this order (by which we were admitted) must have been a very particular one – a most gratifying sight to see the prison so clean, and healthy, and orderly, and altogether in such excellent discipline – about 350, men and women and children – the men and women have 1 1/4 lb. (pound) bread a day, a pot (would hold a quart, I think, at least) of gruel a day, and 6 oz. (ounces) of meat every other day, and on the intermediate days, soup made of what the meat (beef, I understand) was boiled thickened with oatmeal and vegetables – the women far worse to manage than the men – the matron would have less trouble with 500 men than 10 women – the young women (in their teens) the worst – and the man told us, the boys were much worse than the men – he thought there was more vice among them than any set of people –

Mecklenburgh Squares, and thro’ an abundance of new streets – Knocked at no. number 3 in the crescent – asked for a wrong person merely to find out that Mr James Vallance lived there – a dirty woman servant came to the door – a small house, like all the rest in the crescent – 4 stories high including the cellar kitchens – but I think the V–s (Vallances) must be a vulgarish set – 

returned by the Soho bazar – Mr Webbe shewed us all over it – got home at 2 – thanked Mr W– Webbe for his civility – the poor man had spoken most handsomely of his wife, and seemed to like to talk of her – He seems impressed with a considerable of my talents, and importance, physical strength, walking, riding, etc etc asked him about the expense of living in London – or of having lodgings, or being at an hotel – He thought I could keep myself and a maid and 3 men at an hotel very handsomely for 3 guineas a day, and a couple of horses would cost me a guinea a week each at livery – 

my cloth boots pinched me – changed them and went out again directly – Took Cordingley to shew her the Burlington arcade and western exchange bazar – then sent her home – sauntered slowly along myself to 166 Strand, and bought (at Dobson’s) a self-pointing pencil – Did not much like the manners of the man, but found his pencil 3/. cheaper than in the Exeter change – where I bought a small mariner’s compass in a brass case 4/. –

Met My Self Insert OC Alex in the BOS, their paths first cross during the Fire Support quest. Backstory:

Nat is the younger sister of Nora, the two of them were adopted by their parents, they were both well aware. They had a fairly standard pre-war childhood together, not thinking much of their lack of blood relations. As a result of Nora’s reckless behavior in high school (and very poor choice in friends), Nat landed jail time after getting pulled over driving one of Nora’s friends home. Nat held a grudge against her sister for “making her waste two years of her life”, but forgave her after she saw her sister had matured and sincerely apologized.

While Nat was visiting one weekend, Nora had went into town for groceries, leaving her sister, husband and robot to look after Shaun. Unfortunately, the bombs had dropped while her sister was out, forcing them to go into the vault without her. Nat was allowed in, being immediate family of military personnel. 

Current day (general):

Having given up her search for Shaun or Nate’s killer, the world simply felt too large and the problems out of her hands, she decided to try to live on in this new world around her. Nat has been travelling with Cait for almost a year now, the two are romantically involved. Cait is a big part of Nat’s life, giving her safety and someone to rely on in the wastes, someone to trust.

Nat has had the title of Overboss of Nuka World for about 4-5 months now, her biggest accomplishments being: turning the power on, and easing up rules on “slaves”. She plans on taking out the raiders but the task seems daunting right now, she’s biding her time so one clan rebels against her and the other two take them out, then turning the last two against one another, leaving both crippled and easier to pick off. Opening up Nuka World to traders again is her priority at the moment, even if she’s taking it slow.

Other notes:

I kinda understated it here but Nat is head over heels for Cait and has killed people over her. She’d do it again, too. She considers Cait the love of her life and is almost thankful for the bombs dropping because of her.

Her last name is “Taylor” because that’s Nora’s voice actress’s last name so let’s pretend it’s Nora’s maiden name.

She wields an un-modded Chinese Officer Sword constantly, prefers melee over guns but carries a shotgun anyway.

It’s a rule that no one in Nuka World can shoot up in front of Cait, harass or touch Cait, or catcall Cait. Nat will throw them out. As far as Nat’s concerned, Cait has had enough of dirty raiders.

She’s pretty intimidating but is really soft on animals, children and does like to help people when she can. She wouldn’t stick her neck out for most people but won’t just leave people to get kicked around, either.

Backstory/Current Day:

Most of it is a fuzzy to her now, but Dahlia remembers her life before the bombs dropped. She was an ambitious young woman who ended up working home contractor jobs as she pursued her degree in business, she was working on a basement far off into the forest the day the bombs had dropped, one of her coworkers where quick enough to close the big metal cellar doors before the wave of radiation and heat had hit them. They stayed there for roughly a week, living off of what stored food the person who employed them had stored down there. Food and water became scarce. She wanted to go home, which is exactly what she did, not caring much what happened. The world was likely destroyed- what’s the worst that could happen, now? 

Dahlia’s house wasn’t too far off from the house she had been staying in, and once she was home that was where she stayed. Over time she noticed her hair whitened, then her skin deform and become calloused, or fell off. She panicked initially, but calmed herself down after reminding herself panicking never solved anything. Waiting for whatever this was to take it’s course, she carried on. Writing, reading and re-reading her books, trying to garden with what little plants she had left, whatever she could think of to occupy her time. She’d went through her attic to look for more paper to write on and opened the box with her old wedding dress inside- forced to remember her old fiance, he’d gotten cold feet last minute and never showed up to their wedding. Looking at the silky fabric and the ruffles, she decided to wear it again, why not? It’s lovely, made her feel lovely and doing no good just sitting in a box upstairs.

Raiders and other trouble makers would show up from time to time but weren’t much of a match for her .44 magnum. So she’d wait more, passing the time, only ever leaving to scavenge for food in the nearby Super Duper Mart at night. Over time, new settlements had been founded nearby, this troubled her before she realized they weren’t raiders this time. She kept going to the nearby Super Duper Mart, completely unaware rumors had started she was some sort of ghost woman due to her white dress and hair, the way they reflected the light of the moon, making her seem to glow at night. 

Other Notes: 

I wrote Dahlia to be a companion character! She’s not a Lone Wanderer/ Courer/ Sole Survivor, nor is she in any factions.

The quest to meet her would be the settlement leader asking you to investigate the “haunted house” (Dahlia’s home), most of the settlers are too superstitious to or think it’s a waste of time.

She’s very reclusive, definitely a home body, so she has lots of experience being resourceful to fix or create things without leaving home often. Despite being very intelligent, most of her knowledge is in repairing or building things, not science or technology. She has very good problem solving skills, too.

Becoming a ghoul didn’t really phase her much, as you could probably tell. Ghoulification was unpleasant, sure, but she doesn’t feel sick from radiation anymore and she never really liked her nose anyway- so it’s not that bad, right?

She’s overall very sweet and level-headed, loves calling whoever she’s travelling with pet names (sweetie, darling, honey, sugar, the list goes on) and making sure they’re taking care of themselves. She’s more happy to have company again than anything, really.

Being away from home for so long does wear her out a bit, tho.

Her personal quest would have you going with her to check on her old friend/coworker, she saw he had went feral and that’s what really spikes her fear of becoming one, too. It takes her a while to recover.

How long have you been RPing?

Oh god...let’s see...I started RPing when I was about 11 or 12.  I can’t remember the actual age.  I had joined this Yu Yu Hakusho roleplay site where you didn’t even really roleplay.  You just wrote about your character and the mods rated your little...drabbles and fills.  A month or two before I left, they actually had people interact with each other, but it was usually people writing for other characters and people would say “yay” or “nay” on whether or not they enjoyed it.  I didn’t roleplay for a while after that, mostly staying to writing my own stuff all on my lonesome.  It wasn’t until I hit about 14 that I joined a Cats Musical (Yes...Jellicle Cats.  Fuck off) and was there until I was about 16/17.  Then I found friends who were interested in roleplaying and stuck with them!

How long have you been roleplaying with this character?

Falis, Kidd, and Fucker I’ve had for about 7 years.  Cara I’ve had the shortest amount of time and that’s a little over 6 months.

Who was your first Muse?

Ooooooooooooh shit.  She was this really crappy self insert of myself.  I’m not even lying, her name was like...”Ryoko” or some shit.  She was a fire demon who had been trained to be a prostitute before abandoning that line of profession (AFTER KILLING EVERYONE OBVIOUSLY) and then started like...selling her training?  I don’t know, she had black hair and red eyes and I hate myself.

What drew you to your muse?

Honestly, I create most of my own muses.  I created Cara as an escape to a bad time in my life.  My other muses were so tied into another part of my life that ended that using them felt...wrong.  So created someone fresh and new and I liked @bigcalavera‘s writing style of Guzma (and just in general) so much that I decided, “Eh, why the fuck not.  Let’s see if I can find more people to RP with.”

And here we are.

Is there anything you don’t like about playing this muse?

The fact that they’re my own original character I think is a double edge sword for me.  Mostly because I know most people aren’t going to care about her because she’s not a face they know or are familiar with.  Tie with the fact that she’s a female muse so that knocks down the overall...drive to have people rp with her.  And all of my male muses are fickle and picky as hell.  

What is the easiest aspect of playing this muse?

Well, I guess it would be how calm and collected she can remain.  Which isn’t too surprising, as I’m usually the one who keeps the level head in shit situations that need to be fixed right now right now like yesterday right now.  So it’s easy to slip into that portion where Cara is able to think things through logically and come up with a game plan.

What is the most challenging aspect of playing this muse?

I’m not sure, honestly.  If I would have to point at something it would probably be the fact that she’s a pokemon muse and I’m not that great at actual battles.  So I can write them out and that’s fine and easy and great.  But when people want to actually battle her in like, Showdown or whatever, I freak out and panic.  Psyche myself out if you will.  So I feel like people won’t or don’t respect her since she’s a former champion who can’t make it out of the first round of any tournament I put her in.

How many active muses do you have?

Right now...4.  I used to have like...200.  But I think it’s time to put them to bed.  They’re probably not going to be used anymore.

Who is a muse you would want to play?

I kind of want to move to a different fandom.  And Fallout New Vegas has been on the brain.  So maybe I would make a cross fandom blog for my Courier.  Or at least, my newest one.  She’s sassy and I love her.

What do you have in common with your muse?

The level headedness and the fact we both have blue eyes.

What are the biggest differences between you and your muse?

I try to make sure there is a definite line in the sand when it comes to where Cara begins and I end.  I feel like being a good writer, you can feel what your character is feeling (it’s a necessity to actually writing a compelling story) but having the character essentially be you is a huge no no.  

So I would have to say almost everything between me and Cara is different.  Physical is a huge difference, she’s a quiet and reserved person while I am more loud and outspoken.  Cara prefers to get things down quickly and efficiently and I am a terrible procrastinator. She isn’t nearly as salty as I am, and I’m a salty salmon...like...as @the-lost-undead.  The Dead Fucking Sea has nothing on my fat ass.

Thank you! 1. What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?It depends on whether she is completely alone or with another companion(s). A good example of this would be waiting out a rad storm in the wastes. If alone, the inability to do anything as well as the loneliness would drive her up the wall within minutes. With someone there by her side, she could easily wait it out patiently and quietly for hours.2. How easy is it for your character to laugh?Ashley is a bit of a dork and will practically laugh at anything, including Deacon’s terrible jokes, so I’d say it’s super easy to make her laugh (unless it’s something harmful at the expense of someone else).3. How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?)After first leaving the vault, she would listen to Nate’s ‘Hi, Honey!’ tape on repeat and cry herself to sleep. After nearly a year later and entering into a relationship with Hancock, she is usually curled up in bed with him, singing songs playing on her Pipboy with him or just talking until they fall asleep.4. How easy is it to earn their trust?Honestly, Ashley is willing to trust anyone until they give her a reason not to (which has not surprisingly gotten her into trouble a few times).5. How easy is it to earn their mistrust?It’s just as easy to earn her mistrust as her trust. You could easily lie to her or betray her in some way and she will never trust you again.6. Do they consider laws flexible, or immovable?She would probably lean more towards laws being flexible. Ashley has absolutely no problem with bending the rules if it means helping someone or getting an advantage over someone/something.7. What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling?Certain smells (especially cracking open one of the old books at the library), and even a few songs on the radio. She has definitely been hit with nostalgia a few times after revisiting a few places she and Nate used to go pre war.8. What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a childShe was always told to smile more (which she still is occasionally to this day). She has a bad habit of looking rediculously sad from time to time.9. Do they swear? Do they remember their first swear word?Ashley uses swear words like a comma. 25 WIPS

In an effort to get more organized I decided to make a list and (very) short synapsis of all the things I am currently working on/developing. Some have more detail than others.

 Here we go.

 1. The Assassin and The Rem – Royal, Entitled, Manchild. The Masked Prince is all of these things and more. Guided by the firm hand of his royal advisor, he has lived his entire life in the castle, safe from the unruly, uncouth mob that lives below, but when a failed assassination attempt reveals the true intent of those inside the castle, he is forced to flee. With only a surly assassin at his side, he must fight to reclaim his rightful place on the throne and stop the kingdom from falling into ruin.

2. My best friend’s girl (hates me) – It’s hard when your best friend’s girlfriend hates you. It’s even harder when your best friend just died. Truly, misery does love company.

3. Further From Farewell –(Girl) is transported back to the day she met the love of her life… and promptly hit him with her car. Now she has to do it all over again, avoid changing the timeline too much, and make sure her future isn’t lost forever. It’s just too bad she’s already messed up their first meeting.

4. Archangel – Giant mechs, space, moral ambiguity of war, found family.

5. Archangel: Titania – Giant Mechs, Space, Moral ambiguity of war, lost family, trust issues. This time following Charlie, Millie(flag), and Fairy.

6. The curious Anthology of Oliver Gray – Interconnected series of short stories following the ‘exorcist’ Oliver Gray and his ghostly friend ‘KitCat’ as they try to rid the world of curses and blessings, stop demons, and find her body that she foolishly gave away during a deal with a demon.

7. The Eternal Flame – X (aka Ten) is a lingering relic of an ancient order that has long since lost its importance. Tasked with Tending to the Eternal Flame to keep it ever burning, he is abruptly thrust into a battle for the fate of the world.

8. Voynar: Rise of a King – A vision of death and destruction haun Voynar’s dreams. When ruin comes to his homeland he finds himself left with only one recourse. With a blade in hand, and death clinging to his every step, Voynar will fight to save his future.

9. The Hunting Party – School based story following Oliver Gray as she learns to use her ability as a ‘Tuner’ to cancel out the magical ability of others to help keep the precarious balance between Humans and witches.

10. Lost Magic: Novelization – Cross prefers to keep things simple. As a courier for the Sleeping Dragon Guild, he keeps to a tight (albeit rather lazy) schedule and does his best not to deviate from it. But things do not always go according to plan. When he crosses path with a young girl claiming to be a Spirit Goddess, he and his fellow guildmates are quickly dragged into a evil plot over a hundred years in the making.

11. Owl – Owl has been trapped in a Virtual Game. Owl is not good at this game. Owl is unlikely to survive this game unless he can convince the much stronger players of the game to help him. If he dies in the game… well maybe he dies in real life, the Development AI wasn’t real forthcoming with the rules.

12. Lax – Demons, secret magic, and an organization designed to keep it all hidden from the public eye.

13. Dryger Academy – Giant. Fucking. Robot. Battle. Academy. YASSS

14. The Succubus Wish – Wren Hart is a jack-of-all-trades and a master of none. Available for any job, and indebted to many, he finds himself acting as the unwilling guide for a group of young Demihumans. With the Church wanting to kill them and the Separatists wanting to use them as weapons, Wren is racing against the clock to get them out of the country before either side can capture them.

15. Melody of the Damned (Strad) – Young Witch and hopeful Peacekeeper Gracie McAslan has unknowingly unleashed an evil upon this world. With her blood tied to the newly liberated villain, she must stop him before he can reincarnate a demon and end the world.

17. The Gam (Contingency): Meeeeh. But Fairy is Great.

18. The Queen’s Hand – His family and village were slaughtered in front of his eyes. Given the chance to avenge them, Stal joins the very people that took everything from him. Will he be able to fulfill his thirst for vengeance? Or will the Queen’s hand assimilate him?

19. Intertwined Fate –  Character wakes up next to a little gate thing standing in the middle of the ground, has a key next to him. After a moment of confusion is attacked by a goblin. After a very big struggle he kills goblin and receives experience points, gets to level himself up, choose equipment, all that good video game stuff. The next day, 2 goblins attack. Each chapter is a day. Each day the game gets harder. Every time he wins, he gets a part of the quest log. That is slowly telling him where he is and what his quest is to win. Eventually he will pick an ability called "Intertwined fate" or something like that and boom. He will suddenly have a friend! She tries to kill him, assuming he is new enemy. He does the same. But eventually they realize "ah. Yes. Human. Good." Now he has part of the story, and she has been collecting a map. Working together, they MIGHT be able to survive.

20. A Pixie Story – A failed author and an unruly pixie. Mostly it’s just the author coming up with ideas and the Pixie scrutinizing each idea and shooting it down. It’s loosely based on my experience with coming up with ideas.  

21. The Demon’s Deal – (Insert Name here) died outside the walls of the holy city. His/her soul should have been doomed to hell, but an (un)fortunate meeting with a demon of revenge offers him/her a second chance at life. In exchange for parts of his/her body and soul, (Insert Name here) will use the power of a demon to change the course of this unholy war, but can he/she do it before losing themselves to the demon inside?

22. I am NOT the Hero – Self-aware character does not want to become the hero of any story. This one doesn’t count but it’s a story I write from time to time with no intent of novelization.

23. Phantom Heart – Phantom wants to become human and is willing to do anything to do so.

24. Rule Breaker and the Hallway Monitor – (From the note on my phone that I wrote my dream before then falling back asleep)

“Good Job Hallway, I mean it!”

“When you say things like that, you make me frown.”

“That’s okay! I smile enough for both of us.”

25. The Witch’s Son – Desperate to find a cure for her ailing sister, Adela is willing to try anything, even if that means believing in a local legend of a Witch that lives in the woods, but one cannot deal with a Witch without first giving something in return.
