Yandere Self-Aware Path To Nowhere because my game scared me a bit these days and I want to make this everyone's problem.

Note: gender isn't implied, the reader kind of self-inserts because this is written from my personal experience with the game.

Let's say you are just a normal Path To Nowhere player who abandons the game in order to focus on your life but gets back to the game when you see the new sinner or new chapter

Seeing the welcome back from the game almost makes your heart squeeze because of guilt for not playing it for a long time.

However, things started to get interesting after that, mostly your luck

When you just started playing, you had decent luck getting some S-class sinners that others wanted but couldn't without having to spend too much but somehow you didn't get the one that you truly wanted. Honestly, you had no problem with that.

But that was just in the past, in the present, your luck kind of got out of control, and I mean it. Somehow, in the first ten pulls you made, you got the sinner that you wanted the most, and then after that, you got the new sinner, Raven, in the next ten pulls (is this truly what happened with me?)

Yes, it's almost like someone hacked the gacha system because these pulls seem kind of ridiculous to you

Also, the materials needed to level up the character seem cheaper. It's been too long since the last time you played, but it took a week or something for you to max level your favorite S-class character, but now it only takes 2-3 days? Sometimes you only need one day.

Even so, there are also some unknown glitches.

For example, it was harder to get out of the game because every time you wanted to get out, the screen would turn black and then reset back to the opening screen of the game

Not to mention that those lines sinners said seem out of script, and some are just downright creepy

But then again, it was just some random glitches, and it would fix itself right?

Self Aware PTN Ideas.

Well hello everyone, these couple of ideas and the inspiration for them comes courtesy of the newly minted Self Aware PTN or Self Aware Path To Nowhere idea, courtesy of the wonderful @k-niji25 .

The idea in question being, that what if Mania and the sinners becoming who they are is the result of them becoming aware of the truth of their world, the mania itself being something akin to a logic virus that makes one become more and more aware of reality and the truth of it, either breaking them down and remolding them into monstrous corruptors and deteriorated if they cannot handle it, or making them into Sinners if they possess the capacity to endure the truth. 

The stigma and fear of Mania and the Sinners, could be a result of the authority of Dis trying to keep the truth a secret lest Dis fall back into the Hell it claims to have risen above as society unravels at the seams. 

The Sinners, aware to the truth of the world, have lost their inhibitions or become warped in other ways, as Mania guides them down a path to becoming something able to withstand the truth without breaking, as powers maneuver in the shadows to use them to further their goals of bathing the world in this truth.

On this same note, and this is a SPOILER for later in the story so you have been warned, continue below if you do not care about, or are already aware of a certain Umbrella salesman and his goals.

Perhaps Parma, and Suspect R are attempting to bring the player, the Greater Existence, into the world in their own ways, Parma through the creation and utilization of Black Rings, and R through the usage of the chief as a vessel for them.

Or, and this is part of another idea I have that I may elaborate later on for the game itself and not the Self Aware AU, how does the nickname of SAPTNAU (Sapt-Now) for short work for you all for it to shorten that mouthful of a name lol, but what if Parma and R are representatives of 2 differing Great Existences.

Near Eldritch beings that hail from other worlds and travel across them through a reality defying means, the Perishing Star, warping and transforming worlds into being not only their new homes, but also the new domain of the powers they represent.  

Parma representing the Illusory Moon and Mania, while R represents the Player, the two competing to bring their respective backer into the world first in order to achieve their own goals, Parma’s being the erasing of all life and a new genesis for the world, while R wants to work with the Player to create a new world order using Mania, the Shackles, and other such things to rebuild and warp the world into a new image. 

In this vein, perhaps the chief is meant to serve as a Messianic figure, their Shackles and ability to restrain and endure Mania, their power to bind and help heal Sinners, making them appear as an almost saint like figure that R wants to back from the shadows in order to create a new faith and power with herself and the chief at the helm in order to pave the way for the Players arrival, the Player being the deific being or embodiment of something greater that would further legitimatize their new world order. 

Perhaps R wants to either be, or to have the Chief be, the Adam or Eve to the Player, the three of them being the beginning of a new power to bind the world forevermore. 

Like I said, this is a part of another headcanon and idea I have regarding R and her ambitions with the chief and her potential relationship with Parma that has been slightly modified to fit this Au idea. 

Also, I apologize if this idea is all over the place, I just got home from work and am quite tired at the moment lol.

Pookie 😿 The way that I wanted to answer this right away, but I ended up thinking about it for half a day, since today I had to finish counting tears in a plastic bottle (life update, today was my GRD and they had me recite 50 STEPS 😀 Changing patient gown and iv infusion + insertion 😢 But I SLAYED because I got perfect and one mistake in the other 😎) - Idk about ya'll but... You probably found out about the game based on the ad that had MISS 🤭 MAAM 🥰 Zoya... You guys don't understand the GRIP 😩 it had on me when I saw the ad for the first time... So, after watching THE ad that saved LIVES 🤩 including mine ofc 😊 You downloaded the app, despite having ZERO experience playing a tower defense game... 😶 That was me, highkey projecting rn... 😔😔😔 - So after days of getting used to the game, you started watching the interrogation since you were quite curious about the sinners backstory... 🤔🤔🤔 After finishing part of Hella's interrogation, you started to notice weird things happening in the game.

- If you put Zoya as your display character, she starts getting too real about asking you how your day was. And telling you stuff like; You better level me first 😤😤😤 because I'm the only who can protect you bbgirl... 🐺 Girl... This wasn't here before 🤨 so you definitely looked it up, but to no avail... So you probably felt special... 😍😍😍 Like, for me??? 🥺 Oh my gah 😱 I'm never letting you go POOKIE 🤭 Though you got jumpscared by the way Zoya suddenly responded with, That's right... I'm your pookie now... 😈 Making you press the home button on your phone due to how much you are FOLDING rn... 😳😳😳 Zoya canonically RIZZING you up pookie... *Sighs in not being able to relate because I'm not You pookie... 😞* But lmao imagine saying words like, Pookie 😍, Rizz 😏, and Bbgirl 🐺 to THE Zoya, like this is sending me rn... The way that I giggled a lil bit too hard writing this, feeling a lil EMBARAZZED picturing how Zoya would probably react to this... “Ambush ahead, turn back!”

Amelia’s warning came too late. The driver’s quick reflex to dodge the tall white-haired woman who stood waiting in the middle of the road failed as the contact of the woman's fist collided hard at the car's front.

The car spiralled overhead and wrecked across the deserted road.

A few moments had passed, Amelia found herself alone near the wreckage, she surveyed her surroundings. There was no sign of the driver nearby, Hella and Hecate were on the other side to recuperate their strengths. With a sharp inhale, she mustered what little of her strength to crawl away at a safe distance, smelling the leakage of oil about to engulf in flame. Ears were ringing and head pounded rapidly, and pain swelled upon her body. Amelia made a wince grimace as she made little effort to move her body.

Everything went by a blur, barely grasping the situation. She glanced over to find the same tall woman approaching her–the Legion fleet behind her eventually caught up in time. Amelia struggled to keep her energy up as her eyelids twitching… feeling light headed from the crash.

Sleep sounds good right now…

The sound of expletive words and the beast's loud roar snapped Amelia back to reality in time to witness an ongoing fight between the three. But the fight wasn't going well—lasting a mere second.

Which confirmed the woman’s status to her… a Sinner. A dangerous one, according to Ted.

Neither Hella nor Hecate were any match for the Sinner's brute strength. Nightmare was thrown upon the impact carelessly and vanished. Hecate was weakened and tried to intervene until Hella was shoved towards her as the two stumbled backwards onto the gravel.

The Sinner seized Hella's pipe and broke it into pieces by her own hands, and turned her attention back to Amelia. Before the two of them could recover to their feet, a couple of Legion members came to restrain the two and dragged away to one of the trucks.

"I've got no quarrel with you."

The two teenagers were kicking and screaming and cursing.

“Stop! Leave her alone!” came Hecate’s pleads.

“Fuck off!" Hella snapped angrily, "Get away from her!”

Amelia startled as the Sinner began to advance towards again. She sputtered out a cough, body exhausted with no energy left in her to escape. Her head’s hurting so bad. She braced for whatever fate that awaited her.

There was a smile on the woman's face.

She was getting closer… Amelia's heart thumped in fear. Blissfully unaware the shackle mark began to glow and tugged her towards the Sinner.

Her amber eyes locked with the icy eyes. An unsettling familiarity.

“Quite a chase, huh. You really kept us on our toes all night.” she spoke with a chuckle as she crouched down, lifting a single digit of her claw to brush against Amelia's cheek “I don't mind the thrill of this chase… a wolf catches her prey.”

Amelia flinched from the cold contact, “What do you want from me?”

The Sinner tilted her head, “You really don’t remember? Hmm. Looks like we have a lot to catch up on.”

Amelia could feel her vision drift closer to the darkness with passing seconds she slipped in and out of consciousness, self-aware that her body was carried within the strong grips of the Sinner’s arms. The intoxicating scent of tobacco and cologne was too much for her to stay awake and buried her face into the Sinner’s chest.

“Let’s get you back home, Amelia.”

every thing i hear about shalom makes me more excited to experience her for myself im so hyped for the anni so i can finally see what she’s all about, i just know she’ll be a favourite. inevitable tragedy makes for the best characters and stories, i really can’t waittt for october

i say this a lot, but if i had to choose only one character from ptn who was created in a lab to appeal to me, i’d actually hesitate between chameleon and garofano. i have a thing for authority figures but especially professors and chameleon is like a fantasy extracted from the depths of my mind. psychology is the domain that i love the most and could never tire of, learning that she was not only a psychologist, psychiatrist, hypnotherapist but a UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR with ASPD?……. i still can’t believe it. mind you, i read the DSM-V for fun. i read scientific research on personality disorders for fun. her mastery of hypnosis and unparalleled understanding of the human mind is deeply fascinating to me. she can create illusions— whole worlds that only feel so real because she holds an intimate understanding of each person she hypnotizes. isn’t that insane…? to be known to this extent? to be laid bare before the clinical gaze of someone who, with all that knowledge, only seeks to exploit you? there is something inherently intimate about her ability, yet she is so detached from human emotions. she doesn’t experience them the same way as the majority, and more than that— she thrives on others’ misery. it’s one thing to lack empathy because of a pathological disorder, it’s another entirely to find pleasure in people’s pain as a therapist. there are so many contradictions within her; she’s a therapist who thrives on schadenfreude, she’s disconnected from her emotions with an ability that offers perspective into others’ hearts, which, by all means, should only strengthen innate empathy, and that same ability is at once intimate and predatory !! her logical mind is so beautiful. the way she twists people’s desires and fears, plants seeds of doubt and guilt to benefit her agenda— for someone this cold to possess insight into the human mind that no one else does is so delicious.

this is just one aspect of her character that enchants me, i need to get her to 100% compliance for all those voice lines but she’s very dear to me… for an A-rank Sinner to be treated with the same caution as an S-rank, you knoww that means their destructive power is nothing to laugh at. i love her so much. i need to be her overachieving, favoured, anxious and inexperienced teacher’s pet of a student who she loves to mind fuck with during class because she’s aware of all my repressed desires about my favourite professor whose approval is closely tied to my self-esteem………. need her to learn me by acquisition like a language, to spend so much time inside my head that her control becomes an illusion of comfort. im totally sane btw

I didn't play the game Path to Nowhere as much as before (I skip 1 or 2 days sometimes) because I was too focused on my new obsession, CounterSide, and I wondered how my game would react, so here it is.

Context: You came back to Path to Nowhere after a long time but then lost interest again and started playing another game. How would your sinners react to these?

First of all, they would be irritated; they would just have you back, but then you got stolen away again? Because of a new world(game)? Nope, that won't do.

Some people like Ariel, would be sad. Maybe because they are not good enough, that's why you go away so easily...

But most of them are angry; about 90% want to delete the game that made you lose interest in them; 5% believe that violence isn't the answer; but they also have to do something to make you come back. 3% think that you would come back even if they don't do anything, and 2% have a mental breakdown about how they are not good enough.

It's just so annoying, you know? Not to mention how the other game is also self-aware, and that game is smug as hell, making the sinners from Path to Nowhere even more enraged.

If you somehow play the game Path to Nowhere at night(like me) then don't be surprised if you wake up after a sleep and realize you somehow transferred to the MBCC.

Sleeping is when you are most vulnerable, and playing at night would deepen the connection between you and the game after all.

Or my attempt to do some world-building

I would like to imagine that not everyone gains self-awareness and that only the sinners that the chief successful capture (pull in gacha) would be able to know that their world is fake and, most importantly, know about you.

But there are some exceptions, Suspect R and Parma

Before we go into details, here are the definitions of Black Ring and Honkai Eruption

Black Ring:

[ Black Rings cause Mania to spread widely and unpredictably, turning into Corruptors any human beings near or inside them. It's extremely dangerous to get trapped inside a Black Ring, because Mania contamination inside is highly concentrated and can turn a human being into a Corruptor almost instantly ]

Honkai Eruption:

[ The Houkai releases a kind of energy that has never been seen in the past technology, it's called "Houkai Energy", an energy that can be used in infinite methods, including in the creation of technology such as robots, ships, super-weapons and vehicles. While the first Black Ring, the Primary Black Ring, appeared without fusing with any sinner, after the second black ring, a powerful (S-class) sinner would always go manic (Hamel, Zoya)

[ The appearance of a secondary Black Ring—that is, any Black Ring that comes after the BR-000, is accompanied by a powerful Sinner going manic. The Sinner is said to be Ground Zero for that particular Black Ring, and seems capable of CONTROLLING it.]

Which is kind of similar to a herrscher, a powerful being that accompanied every eruption and controlled the energy.

[ A Herrscher (German: lord, ruler) is a human that has merged with Houkai energy and has given into the will of the Houkai to destroy the current era of human civilization. They are exceptionally powerful, and wield otherworldly abilities - in such that S-Rank Valkyrja rarely stand a chance of winning a fight against one. Since a human body is needed to host them, they are proved to be as strong as normal human if there is no special factor and can be killed if their physical form is destroyed or if their gems are extracted / destroyed from their bodies. ]

So with every honkai eruption, we would get closer to the final herrscher (the god that controls the energy that literally controls the world).

I like to think that in Self-Aware Path To Nowhere AU, the Parma creates those black rings in order to summon you, the god that technically controls the world (the game)

While suspect R is an interesting case as we don't really know anything about her but whatever

Suspect R stopped the program that recovered the chief and made the chief lose the memories, or is that all she did? Create trouble and stop the program only?

What if she also did that so that you, the god, could have a good vessel? After all, a person with no memories or background would be the best person to become, as you can act however you want and people won't suspect it

There are probably many plot holes, but my brain isn't working right now. That's all I have.
