Can someone help me find a Pokemon fic? It was more like headcannons but it was where pla meets their descendants. Mainly volo, Cynthia, Cyrus and cyllene. I thought it was by onestepbackwards but I can’t find it on their account. But it mentions cyllene being disappointed with Cyrus and I think volo was jealous of Cynthia? Or maybe he just didn’t like her. I’m pretty sure I’m over looking it somehow so any help is appreciated!

What if everyone in Legends Arceus were to become self aware and are completely baffled if not exasperated by the player being so gentle (yet still firm) with Volo?

"You are aware of what he's done, yes?"

"Of course I am. And it was very wrong of him. But that doesn't mean his mistakes have to define him. Volo is capable of learning and growing. And Kamado, you're a FINE one to talk about betrayal."

And the player is rather protective of Volo despite understanding completely why everyone would be cross with him.

"If you dislike him so much then you don't have to be around him! I want to spend some time alone with him anyway."

And the player gently holding his face but giving him a serious look despite the sweet tone. "You're going to be a good boy from now on, right? You won't cause any more trouble?"

Everyone knew Volo had upset you.

It was as clear as day when you cried out at his betrayal. How upset it had made you. How it had hurt you.

You genuinely wanted to see him as a friend, only for him to betray you. It clearly upset you the first time you played this 'game'.

Afterwards, you were interestingly distant with Volo in any other run of the game. But many people didn't think too hard about it. It was natural you would keep him at a distance.

Besides, many of them were too busy focusing on breaking free from the code that held them all as pseudo prisoners.

It wasn't until you were on a playthrough dedicated to getting every pokemon and every shiny, as well as completing the pokedex to its fullest extent that they were able to show you they were aware.

It wasn't much longer from that when they were able to pull you in freely.

You were naturally startled, but quickly adapted, happy to meet so many characters and pokemon dear to your heart.

(Even if you were a bit weirded out how some seemed to see you as a deity of some sort sometimes.)

Everyone wanted to meet you with your sudden arrival (even if you didn't exactly plan to be pulled into a video game).

Even Volo of course was curious, but he didn't directly approach you. He stayed almost out of sight from you in the village. Just close enough to see you and maybe hear you.

After all, why would you want to see him? After all he had done to you? Betraying you again and again, even if he wasn't in control after that first time?

You had made it painfully clear the first time how upset his betrayal had made you.

And yet...

The first time you caught him watching you, you not only approached him, but told him hello. You even politely introduced yourself, not showing an ounce of fear or disdain.

Volo was shocked, and nearly couldn't speak. It was clear he was taken off guard.

The villagers were also surprised. Didn't you hate him? Dislike him at the very least?

Perhaps you were just being polite for the first greeting, being in a new environment, or were afraid of angering him?

Volo knew that wasn't true though, you showed no fear when greeting him. Even your eyes held no terror when meeting his gaze.

Instead, your eyes met his head on, and you simply smiled at him.

That wasn't even the last time you did so either.

Any time you came across him, (or caught him watching you from a distance), you acknowledged his presence, even trying to include him half the time so he didn't feel left out.

It was... confusing, to say the least.

Perhaps you had gotten over it? Or if you were some sort of deity, you were a benevolent and forgiving one?

Of course, many people questioned your decision, and you stood firm over it.

"He hurt me, yes, but is he not trying to earn forgiveness? Shunning someone who genuinely wants to learn and grow from their past actions will only push them away. There are of course, some things that are unforgivable, however..."

You looked at Volo almost fondly.

"I like to think he can redeem himself if he works for it. He just needs a gentle push."

It's baffling, even to Volo, who questions if he is even worthy of such kindness after all he has done to you. Yet here you are, standing up for him and trying to protect him.

You simply smile to him, and grab his hands so gently in your own.

"I like to believe in the best of people, even when they have done bad things. You made a mistake, and no one was ultimately hurt. But..."

Your eyes get an almost cold gleam to them. One that has a cold shiver run down Volo's spine.

"You are going to be good, right? No more surprises, no more attempts at becoming a god?"

The hold on his hands were gentle and soft, and your voice was as sweet and gentle as ever.

But your eyes...

Your eyes held a look that wasn't a threat. They held a silent promise.

Volo nodded, his mouth becoming dry as he caught a glimpse of just what you were capable of.

"Yes. I'll... I'll behave."

The look in your eyes vanished as you reached up and cupped his face. You gave him a tender smile.

"Good."

He didn't know when or how he gained consciousness. All he remembered was the first thing he saw when he "woke up" familiar faces in a usual place, the calm music that the Pokemon Center plays every night. Pokemon was standing right next to him, but as his eyes looked forward into what he perceived was a giant portal created by Palkia and Dialga themselves. And a smiling face looking down upon the world he inhabited.

He had thought you were one of Arceus's angels, and this was about a dream, but soon, he had realized that only half was the case.

It all seemed to click who you were. You are not some dead fish-eyed child with a robotic Pikachu like what this world had portrayed you as no far from; instead of that kid with the permanent smile, you always seem to have a tired look on your face with either a small half-smile or a Blank Stare. But to Ingo, he always preferred to you behind the screen. Even when you were no longer watching the world, he could still hear your faint voice going about your day. You seemed more lively and more human than the blank slated avatar they gave you. How could he not be drawn to you even though you seem so sad? Your eyes and your being just seem so full of life that he felt an urge to protect and care for you.

Even though the fake Island had tons of people and, he felt more alone than he ever did, especially when he realized he was the only one different from the rest. He can't help but respond to every little question or reaction in his head, afraid of what you might do if he ever breaks away from the game's script.

But on a particular day that was a rough one for you mentally and physically, when Ingo saw you opening up the app instead of that same expression, your eyes were red from crying. No, you were still crying. His heart sank. If he could, if he could touch you, he would hold you close and Whisper nothing but good things in your ear until you calm down, but he can't do that. He couldn't do anything!! He felt sick with worry as he watched you cry, your lip quivering as you vent to yourself, saying the most horrible things about yourself !! And for a moment, he threw away his worries of the consequences.

" Are you okay?"

A simple three-letter sentence that made you freeze; your heart's practically stopped as you didn't know that you were being watched. It took you a while for your brain to process who the voice was coming from, looking down at your phone to see your favorite character stare back. Huh... Odd you didn't know he had that line before.... and not only that, you didn't remember clicking on him. Usually, characters say their lines after you click on them, yet you don't even touch them. As you were Gathering your thoughts, Ingo spoke again.

" I truly wish I could wipe away those tears, I regretfully can't do much but if it helps tell me about your day and I'll listen."

Ingo speaks again... no text box appears; nothing; he just talked to you, mentioning your crying. In that first moment, you didn't know how you felt. Your favorite character coming to life and talking to you was almost a dream come true, but the thought just seemed so impossible and unrealistic that you doubted the fact that you were awake. And your feelings are already all over the place, having no one to turn to, no one to comfort you, craving that comfort, your heart exploded. You can't stop the tears rolling down your face, even if is just a dream; what a beautiful dream it is.

"I-i don't know." You stuttered you were far too gone to even articulate what you are feeling all your emotions swelling for the past month or two bubbling up into a mess of emotion. You want us to tell him tell him that your day was crap tell him how crappy you looked right now tell him that he can't believe he saw you like this that your first meeting with your favorite character your favorite person in the world was like this red in the face tears falling from your red and puffy eyes.

But Ingo did not seem fazed; he was not disgusted, he was not angry at you. He understood if he was there if he wasn't trapped behind the screen, he would have wished you in his arms and laid his lips on your forehead. He knew how you felt; he listened to your angry ramblings about yourself; he listened to the times people had treated you like you were less than human or misused your kindness, manipulated and used you for their own gain. He wanted to hold you close, make you something you like, and tell you that the word you know about yourself is not true; he wanted to tell you how much you mean to him and how nice and loving you are, how kind and thoughtful and how gorgeous you were. Those people who mistreated you are not good people, and you deserve to be respected, you deserve happiness, and you deserve to be loved.

You deserve to be told that you're beautiful every day, to be made breakfast in bed and kissed at every waking moment. Because that's what he would do for you; that's what his heart ached for him to do.

But he did what he could do which was listen to your broken sobs as you pour your heart out.

" It sounds like you had quite a day... I wish I could do more than just listen and speak to you, but what I can do is tell you what the things you say about yourself is not true... and I wish you could see yourself the way I see you. Could you stay with me for a while? I wish to talk to you, and we start from the beginning, shall we? Now, my dear, please tell me what's bothering you and wipe away those tears. Pretend that it's my fingers swiping across your eyes."

His voice, usually loud and booming, was surprisingly soft, warm, and welcoming. From his calming voice to your Outburst earlier, you felt your heart slow down and your tears dry as you wipe them from your face; those steel gray eyes light up for a moment when he sees just a piece of a smile flicker on your lips.

Baekhyun wasn't the greatest soldier alive when it came to alcohol tolerance; he himself had great self-awareness of it. This resulted in him never drinking furthermore in your presence once he knew he was tipsy. At first, you didn't mind this at all, although, after receiving the first-ever emergency call from one of his friends, this changed your mind.

The call consisted of the first few seconds of a proper conversation with the said friend, and then a minute later to Baekhyun stealing the phone, who was then drunkenly flirting with you. Clearly losing the battle between alcohol and his sobriety.

Baekhyun's friend that called you, who seemingly was the only person sober, got his phone back and pleaded you to get him ASAP before he lost his marbles dealing with a bunch of lousy drinkers.

You obliged, mindlessly arriving at the destination a lot quicker than you thought, almost snickering at the thought of a crimson-cheeked boyfriend just smiling like a fool at you. Junmyeon, the caller, his face of weariness turned into a relieved one as he greeted you at the front door, booming noises of drunken men singing karaoke inside and the strong smell of assorted liquor exuding from him.

"Hi, Y/N! Here to pick up Baekhyun, right?" he questioned, which honestly sounded more like it had only one valid answer.

"Yes, though it looks like I'll be spoiling his fun if I pick him up while all of you are having so much fun." You politely replied just for formality.

Junmyeon chuckled and firmly added, dead in the eyes, begging, "I promise you that you aren't. Please come inside, Y/N. Please?"

"Y/N? Is that Y/N? Y/N!" A familiar bright, boyish voice slurred in excitement from the inside. You looked at Junmyeon for assurance, and he nodded, encouraging you to enter the living room. You gulped in nervousness, thinking of how to deal with the new kind of Baekhyun you'd never met before. It was like helplessly walking on a field of tall grass full of wild Pokemons.

Before leaving your shared home with Baekhyun, you've researched the effects of alcohol, and one struck you: repressed emotions and thoughts will be set free in a drunken state. You weren't sure if that was true since no reliable sources proved this fact, but you still wondered, almost in a way of contemplation. Doubtful if you can even deal with a wasted Baekhyun.

"It's me, Baek—Oh my god."

There he was. And you were right about one thing: his cheeks would go red when he was drunk but based from the research about repressed feelings when in a drunken state, you can tell that this Baekhyun will be a handful.

"Y/N~" The last syllable of your name dragged on as he attempted to wiggle up from his seat. "I missed you so much, Y/N." You quickly ran up to support him from standing, relieved that you caught him on time.

"But we were together like… four hours ago, baby." He nodded in reply.

"Exactly." Oh, well.

After bidding goodbye to the rest of his friends, who were thrilled to see you, you got help from Junmyeon to put Baekhyun on the passenger seat, bidding him farewell and good luck as you set off to go back home.

Surprisingly, the first couple of minutes of the drive were quiet, and your boyfriend was just sleeping peacefully, thankfully, not causing a ruckus silently. You didn't try to pry him from his peace and just continued driving, waiting for him to mumble anything you could tease him about once he woke up. You admired this very moment of comfortable silence, wondering of the antics that would happen by the next morning and planning to prepare ahead a good hangover soup to lighten the weight of your lover.

"Baby?" He's awoken.

"Yes?"

"Can I hold your hand? It's quite cold," he requested groggily.

"I can't, baby. I'm driving us back home."

"Oh...then, can I borrow your jacket?" Baekhyun tested again, opting for a different consolation.

"Yes, of course. It's on the backseat, Baek."

He struggles to look for it in the back seat, carefully but clumsily putting his arms inside the armholes of the jacket when he does.

A few minutes pass, and he complains again, "...I still wanna hold your hand, Y/N."

"Let's hold hands when we're under a stop light, okay?" You turned the car to the highway, and coincidentally, the red light from the traffic light stopped you. In reaction, Baekhyun reached out for your hand and interlocked his cold fingers with yours.

"Y/N?" he called out again.

"Yes?"

"Your hand is very warm. I love holding your hand."

You beamed with a snicker, looking down at your entwined hands. His hands that easily get cold and would always seek refuge for yours that were always cozy and warm. These hands that would always cup your cheeks and kiss you plushly in the wake of the morning. You noticed the difference of temperature of his and your hand, and you grasp slightly harder, attempting to warm his faster.

"I love holding your hand too, Baek."

The traffic lights turned green, and you gently removed your tightly held hand from him, leaving his hand to reach out to yours with dismay.

"Y/N?" Baekhyun asks for you again from just a few miles.

"Mhm?" You hummed softly, never troubled by his constant wants to hear your voice and attention even if he asks for the vainest demands.

"I need you to answer a question."

"Sure."

"If I was a sleepy sea otter," he yawned, the sign of the need to sleep displaying, "And you were also a sleepy sea otter…."

"Will you hold my hand so we'll not drift away from each other when we're sleeping?"

"Baek?" It was your turn to ask, "You do know that we always snuggle when we sleep, right?"

"...Oh. Then, can I hold you all night when we're finally home?" There were remotely a small number of cars driving, so you turned the car, almost near your home and took the opportunity, interlocking the hand that rested on his thigh with yours, holding it near your lips, and kissed lovingly the back of his hand.

"When it involves loving you, then it's always a yes."

Continuation of my attempt to create a tierlist for every color scheme, here is the Orange/Black tierlist, which also includes Orange/Purple and Orange/Blue pairings due to the amount of overlap I was seeing in the color schemes. I was a lot more lenient here than the Red/Blue one on what counts as I figured there would be less, though I ended up with a lot more than I thought.

(Self-aware PLA) Imagine if the player manages to get transported into the game and due to not being made of code is just ungodly strong when in the game, like able to fight a pokemon bare-handed kinda strong.

Now imagine they somehow get transported by complete accident and are just out in the wilderness and decide to just become the local cryptid for funsies. Made a costume out of whatever they could get and everything.

So now people think this pokemon that is immune to pokeballs and as strong if not stronger than the nobles is just roaming around Hisui, on the prowl for its next target (meanwhile they're just gushing over a wurmple they found and petting it)

You honestly thought you'd be nothing but chopped liver if you ever ended up in the Pokemon universe.

It wasn't hard to guess why. Humans in the pokemon world constantly not only had a lot of disasters due to pokemon and legendaries-

But even regular day people dealt with injuries from pokemon, as if it were simply a small cut from an irritated cat.

If you owned an electric type pokemon, it was natural to assume you'd at best be accidentally shocked at some point. Shocks normal humans in your world wouldn't survive most likely.

So you thought.

Waking up in Legends Arceus was... more than just a surprise. You had wondered if you hit your head, or had something slipped in your food before you went to bed the night before.

Of course, you feared for your life at first.

You had no Arcphone or map. Or any of your own pokemon.

If it wasn't for the fact you were looking at living breathing pokemon in the distance, you would have thought you'd been kidnapped and dropped in the wilderness somewhere.

So when you had tried to maneuver through the wilds in an attempt to find some sort of land marks, (which was awful, by the way. How the hell were you going to find landmarks when things looked so different from a new perspective?), it was inevitable you would be spotted.

By a Golduck no less. One that seemed especially dead set on beating the rocks out of you.

It had chased you, a lot more vigorously than in game, before you were cornered.

You thought you were a goner, or at least going to get quite the beating.

But you weren't going to go down without a fight, at least. Even if you were terrified.

So when you threw a terrified punch-

...You weren't expecting the poor Golduck to flying like Team Rocket blasting off.

You had looked at your fists in slight horrified wonder, wondering if it was a fluke of some sort.

However, it quickly became clear when another aggressive pokemon had tried to attack you, that your strength was no joke.

You defended yourself, and low and behold, the other pokemon went flying. Any other pokemon in the area immediately backed off, giving you space.

Though when you gently said hello to a Pichu, and carefully gave the curious pokemon a pet, many pokemon seemed to relax.

The aggressive pokemon though, definitely still gave you a wide berth, and it then hit you.

They were treating you like you were on top of the food chain, being able to square up with them almost like-

It hit you in that moment.

Were they treating you like some sorta Alpha?

You thought for a moment about what this meant, and considered your options.

Given that you had no idea where you were, and how to contact anyone, you decided you'd roll with the punches. Even if that meant doing so literally.

...Which is how you accidentally ended up scaring the first human you saw.

By that point, it had already been a few days.

Despite your sudden climb up the food chain, pokemon for the most part were very friendly to you. Many were willing to help you out.

Some had given you berries and other fruits and veggies they scavenged. Others had helped find you some clothe, which you were... concerned where they had gotten it from.

But you wouldn't turn down clothes or blankets.

That being said, perhaps you should have realized being wrapped in a blanket in the cold at night, surrounded by some Alpha pokemon would have caused a stir by the first human that actually found you.

The poor merchant took off screaming when you spotted him and tried approaching. He was gone before you could even ask him to wait.

You had been confused, and wondered if it was all the wild pokemon near you that spooked him. No doubt he thought some of the alpha pokemon would attack?

It upset you a little bit, but you understood. There goes another human to talk to and get some directions from.

But that did mean you'd have to adjust your approach going forward if you saw another human.

Which of course, also didn't go well.

You came across a camp, and tried to approach-

...Only for everyone to run screaming as they ran from the 'creature' leading a gang of very large pokemon behind them.

After that, you decided perhaps you wouldn't be in contact with any humans any time soon. Not if you kept being found or finding humans at times you were surrounded by other pokemon.

Which was always.

And you had forgotten that people in this era were very wary of pokemon compared to other games. You figured if you were even surrounded by smaller pokemon, you'd still see fear.

It was not long after that you ended up adopting the 'cryptid' persona.

Nearly any time you came across someone, they never got a real good look at you, and ended up running away, usually screaming.

But hey, you weren't hurting anyone. Plus it was kinda funny to think about how you were some mysterious 'human' or 'creature' that gave people the spooks.

May as well find some humor in it, despite how lonely you were.

Of course, you unknowingly end up causing some discord in the local settlements. Word spreads of the odd creature that is often spotted with different pokemon, especially alpha pokemon.

And the pokemon seem to follow them, like they are a leader of some sort.

Was it a new pokemon? A humanoid lookin' one?

Was it strong enough to wrangle even alphas?

Was it dangerous? Did it hunt humans?

Did the creature only come out at night?

Meanwhile, you are playing peekaboo with an Eevee, blissfully unaware of the conflict people have about your existence.

Questions about your presence spread like wildfire as people pondered who you were. Or what you were.

Maybe you weren't even a pokemon at all, but some sort of spirit or god?

Others, a smaller few, suggested maybe you were just a hermit. (Unknowingly, they were sorta right...)

Some wondered if you were even real, and not some sort of prank going outside a circle of friends.

However, the sightings continue, even in different regions. A cloaked figure followed by all sorts of pokemon, regular and alphas.

Some even wondered if you were an omen of death, or a warning. Showing up to weary travelers when danger was near, instilling fear into them so they would leave the area, and therefore, the danger.

In reality, you were simply exploring. It was interesting how the world connected outside the hub area of the game. You could actually see how regions connected now!

Plus, you were trying to map out everything in an attempt to maybe find a settlement at some point. At this point though, it wasn't as high of a priority as you settled into your new life.

It's not until you end up helping a young woman, a teenager you think, who was lost, that people wonder if the deity or omen theory is true.

What really happened is you found a young teen clearly lost and scared.

You approached them, careful to avoid scaring her. You gave her some of your fruit you had kept on you, and asked a Blissey to help heal her.

All while she stared in shock, unable to get a good look at you with how dark it was.

It was near pitch black, except for the glow from Cyndaquil that was next to you for some light to see where you were walking. The flames from the little guy's tail eerily lit up your cloak, but hid your face.

You point her in the direction you think is a camp, without saying much, and she nearly stumbles away as she takes off, occasionally looking at you behind her shoulder.

...The rumors of you being a deity of protection skyrocket after that. Oops.

At least you were having fun with it!

Ok, on older nintendo consoles the save file was stored on the cartridge itself, meaning that it's super easy to buy a used game and it still have the save file on it. So what were imaging is self aware pokemon moon (because we have it now, and were in love with guzma), that became self aware a LONG time ago when a kid played and loved it, but at some point stopped touching it and soon sold it. Years later it gets picked up and bought by us, as our copy of moon.

Like imagine self aware charaters in that instance. Like it's been years since they've seen the player but times still moving, but randomly and out of nowhere there back were they started all those years ago, and with a new player who is NOT there kid grown-up.

Be aware that some works may romanticize or sexualize anything and everything, as we are very into traumakink and have found it incredibly healing for our own trauma.
