Seeing this made me realise that jp idol/artist fandom otaku mainly uses gender specific terms like 私/俺

Meanwhile, when I was in animanga fandom I used to see everyone using ワイ to refer to themselves

(but in the first place jp sentence structure doesn't really use a lot of first person pronouns)
