Corban still wasn’t entirely sure how Claire had managed to bait him into going on a date. He really needed to stop letting the other wind him up til he agreed to do things. The again, he wasn’t sure how the other had managed to get Sybill to go on a date with him. He’d still argue that she deserved better, but part of his brain (which scarily sounded like Claire) was telling him to give it a chance.

It was how he ended up waiting outside her common room, a bouquet of her favourite flowers in his hands. He’d asked around until he’d found out, because this was what people did on dates, right? He’d almost asked Stefan for advice, but he knew he’d never live it down. After grabbing a fourth year to fetch her, Corban leaned lazily against the wall, eyes watching the door intently for her to come through it. When she finally did, Corban shot her a charming grin. “Hey, you look...” He trailed off, eyes shamelessly trailing over the other, and holy shit, did she look good. “Beautiful.” He admitted honestly.

Despite the way things had gone down between the two, August still wanted to find a way to wish Anna happy birthday. Both of them were adults at this point, and maybe it was silly, but after having had missed so much, having had not been there for so long, he was craving to make up for it. Even if Anna most likely did not want him to be around- not as much as he used to. ~ So he found himself in Hogsmeade, exploring the stores, trying to find something to buy to Anna, something that would be personal despite not actually being made for him. Bookstore didn’t seem to have anything. Sweets didn’t seem like it was enough. Eventually, he came across a small jewelry shop, figuring that, while he didn’t have that much money, he could at least see if he could find anything decent for Anna. Only, even that provided to be a challenge; he had absolutely no idea what Anna would like, and the whole thing was making August more and more frustrated.  @seersybills​

Sibyl was not pleased with where she was headed, about to ask for help from a source she’d previously cut out of her life.

“Caled doesn’t show any signs of transitioning into a vampire.” “WHAT? Transitioning ... my son is NOT a vampire!” “We can’t be sure of that. MY son very well could be. If he isn’t transitioning, why did you ask for my help? You said ‘changes’ ...”

“Yes, changes! His father figure just DIED! Oh my gosh, this was such a mistake! I just wanted you to talk to him about the idiotic BEAR SUIT!”

Sybil took Thea on a mother-daughter date to the planetarium.

Poor Sib almost froze to death, but we saved her in time. The kids have already lost one parent.

“It was good of you to meet with me.” “Of course. I heard about your husband. May I offer my condolences?”

Harvestfest was the first holiday without Dad. Sybil cooked a grand meal and made Caled take off his stupid bear suit. Gnomes were thoroughly ignored. It was rough, but they got through it.
