Run To Me | Sequel to Blow A Kiss, Fire A Gun | Prologue!
PART ONE IS OUT AND HERE!
{Y/N} - I apologise if the read more doesnât work on the origional post!
The therapist stared the small girl down. Little brown curls littered her forehead like springs as she fiddled with the teddy bear in her hands. It was a little bit tattered at the edges, a certain spot of fur matted together but it was the little blue bear that sheâd had since birth, the one that hid at the bottom of her junior school bag because she refused to go to school without it⌠some days. Some days she preferred the small, white and slightly creepy looking cat that sheâd carry around by the tale.
Her hands. Red, raw, bloody. Your own daughter, falling apart right before your very eyes.
âRosie?â The therapist asks, trying to come to eye level with your daughter but it was difficult. Despite her blabbering on about how independent (without actually using that word) and brave she is, she struggled to even look into the eyes of a stranger.
âRose?â You whisper, bobbing your knee up and down to get the small girls attention. âCan you talk to the lady please?â
âI donât want to be here.â She mumbles, bottom lip falling into a pout. âI wanna go home.â
You take one of her hands in your own, thumb gently running over the little pink and white hello kitty band-aids. She doesnât seem to notice, looking at the pile of kids toys that sat in the corner of the room.
âHarper just wants to help you like she helps me.â You try to prevent your voice from shaking and almost fail too if it werenât for a quick side eye from the therapist. âSheâs nice, sweetheart.â
Your daughter was never difficult, on edge definitely and you partially blamed yourself. Sheâd been bought up seeing you hide in a shell both of your old self and one of pure fear and terror, merely smiling and sometimes not even leaving the bed. On those days your daughter would lay next to you, a rerun of teen titans or how to train your dragon on Netflix. She surely heard your screams in the very middle of the night and saw you freak out whenever she was too loud.
âNo, mum.â Your daughter looks up, her glassy eyes finally off of the teddy bear. She begins wriggling around in your arms, the small girl grunting as she fails down your lap. âI wanna play with the toys.â
You were unsure but eventually sigh, letting her go. The near-five-year-old jumps down, little legs making their way towards what children would call âHeavenâ. There were lego pieces and board games and the odd Rubix cube but your attention was directed towards her little hands, the size of a large tomato but that didnât worry you, what did was the fact that her hands were the color of one.
The therapist coughs gently, leaning forward in her seat. âSo from what youâve shown me I definitely see signs.â
You werenât surprised, not even batting an eyelash. âWhat can we do from here?â You ask, foot tapping gently against the carpeted floor, a nervous habit.
âThereâs nothing you really can do, neither can I considering her age. Rosie is young, this could easily just be a phase.â She almost shrugs it off casually, black glasses slipping down her nose and she was quick to shove them up again, eyelashes hitting the frames.
âSo you just want me to-â You begin, with no success.
âYou can bandage them, give her toys to play with and keep her nails short but thatâs about it for now-â
âYou want me to let my daughter keep doing this to herself? To sit back and watch?â You feel your eyes prickle and Rosie seems to ignore your sudden outburst. Either she was listening carefully as she often did, focusing despite your knowledge or she was completely oblivious, focusing purely on the game pieces.
A wave of anger washes over you, as well as fear and guilt. The system was screwed up, sure, but you didnât know how bad until then and there. Your hands trembled, afraid that you couldnât stop this, you couldnât be the mother Rosie needed.
âThere is nothing I can do. Iâm sorry, I know it must be hard but you can help, even just by talking to her about what sheâs doing.â
You grit your teeth, hands clenching around the arms of the chairs. If you gripped them any harder you fear the wood breaking off, snapping beneath your fingertips and causing a magnitude of splinters.
Rosie listens, wondering why the two adults were talking about her while she was in the room. The little girl was notorious for picking up things she shouldnât and at that moment she was trying to decipher what they were saying and why her mum looked like she was about to cry.
Her chubby fingers toy with a Rubix cube and while she had no idea what she was doing, she adored the bright colors. However, they clashed with the pink and white that decorated her hands. The hello kitty ones were her favorite, definitely better than the wiggles band-aids thatâd been forced on her last week by the teachers at school.
What was wrong with her?
{ Tom }
âI donât care what you have tomorrow, We need to have a fucking meeting.â Tom spat into the phone, face red hot with anger. âYour girlfriend can fucking wait. This is important.â
His hands gripped the very roots of his hair, anger racing through every phone as the man on the other end tried to get out of it. Tom couldnât completely blame him, heâd do the same if he was about to lose his head.
The silence was all that could be heard through the other end of the phone between heavy, nervous breaths and the mobster already knew that he had this one in the bag.
âI can try-â
âTryâ wasnât good enough, nowhere near it for the mob boss who had already been pushed past his breaking point by the same client multiple times. He was ready to get his hands dirty again, paint the town red and grey and make those that deserved it fall to their knees.
Tom turned towards his desk, fingers clenching around the cool gun, the metal making goosebumps arise. âYou will be there or I swear to god-â
âOkay! Okay, Iâll be there.â Wilson muttered, pursing his lips together in defeat.
Tom almost laughed at the nerves that were visible through even the phone. The guy's voice shook with fear.Â
Tom hung up the phone, slamming it down on the desk in pure anger. People that messed with him and his business didn't get off the hook easily and this guy was no different- the fact that he thought he was made Tomâs blood boil. It made the wheels in his brain spin with different possibilities and ways he could show the client who the boss was in this situation.
âHeâs coming?â
âHeâll be there.â

A more detailed evaluation follows. At first glance, it can only be said that newer films like Star Wars 9 have not yet made it onto the market. There are also large gaps in the MCU films. But that was already the case at the start in the USA. The offer may also vary, Disney notes in the press release, for the sake of completeness. Probably nothing will change in the offer until the start.
According to Disney, it is only a selection, but in the large themed worlds of Star Wars, Marvel and Pixar it can be assumed that the first overview has drawn from the full and will match the final offer.

Brighton vs Southampton Preview: Ralph Hasenhuttlâs side look to get off the mark
Brighton and Southampton may come from similar parts of the world, but the south coast outfits have had a contrasting start with the new Premier League season.
The south coast conflict between the teams that came with the seagulls â who barely avoided relegation last year â started the campaign undefeated in their first two games.
New manager Graham Potter won 3-0 at Watford and also claimed a useful point at home for an ambitious West Ham United side.
Ralph Hasenhuttl was the savior of the saints last term while he sent Burnley was followed by a defeat by Liverpool to them as one of four teams with no point behind to leave.
Southampton won twice at the AM EX Stadium final term and they will have to do this again to alleviate the fear of another campaign against relegation.
Graham Potter has made a good start with his career in the Premier League at Brighton
BRIGHTON: The Summergulls Gamble on Potter with Early Signs of Payments
Many were left in arms about the daring call in Brighton for Chris Hughton almost immediately at the end of last season â despite being successful in keeping them in the Premier League.
Replacing him with Graham Potter was a courageous decision, given his lack of important top flight experiences.
But his reputation has steadily increased since his unorthodox methods of team bonding helped little known Swedish side Ostersunds for the first time in the Europa League knockout rounds, where they fought a decent fight before being eliminated by Arsenal.
Attracting team ballets for the local city was part of his success in building team and community spirit. Although these methods did not follow him to Swansea City in the previous period, he proved in a larger environment that he could change his management methods.
Glenn Murray has started the first few games for Brighton but still needs to find it net
So far, he has stabilized the Brighton ship that was rocking, even before Hughton & # 39; s departure, but now he has to show that it is not a flash in the pan.
That starts with home form. Handy as the point with West Ham was to extend a bad record at the AMEX Stadium where they just won in the Premier League this year â and even that was against a doomed Huddersfield Town side.
Potter also has a lot of thinking to do about his punching power. Glenn Murray is now 35 years old and although he has started the offensive season, he has yet to find it.
Potter may think that Murray has much to offer the team as a senior member of the team, and that can never be easily ignored.
However, the goals have come from elsewhere this season, with Florin Andone and Neal Maupay both coming off the bench to find the net, while another striker Jurgen Locadia is looking for more minutes for the first team.
It was a good start for Brighton, but restoring the home form and finding a fixed start XI will have to be attended rather than later.
Florin Andone will be one of the Seagulls attackers who looking for a starting role
SOUTHAMPTON: It is too early to panic, but the saints must show improvement in the south coast derby
After spending two seasons on relegation , it was hoped that Ralph Hasenhuttl could drag Southampton back up the table once again in the middle of the last-season season to reverse their fortune.
Instead, deja-vu is already lurking around St Mary & # 39; s after two straight defeats to start the season.
things are not as bad as they seem. Admittedly, the saints were poor in their 3-0 collapse in Burnley â and teams can have one-off bad matches.
Defeat followed, and even given the handicap of the Reds to play midweek in the Super Cup, even getting a point on the part of Jurgen Klopp this time limit is a bonus for many teams.
But another loss this weekend on the side of Brighton that has not won any of their recent five meetings will raise some doubt.
Are there any positives for Hasenhuttl? For a team that started the season badly, surprisingly there are.
At least from the outside it seems that he is still in charge of the dressing room. The players look comfortable and organized in their positions on the field and for the most part they were opened too easily by one of the most deadly attacking trios in Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
They also created opportunities, perhaps Danny Ings took the consolation strike against Liverpool, but he also picked a sitter who would have given them a dramatic late equalizer.
For now, the goal is where Hasenhuttl is to be problems. Southampton just does not score enough. None of their players has achieved double digits in the last few seasons and last season's top scorer with nine in all competitions was a winger in Nathan Redmond.
No easy problem to solve now that the transfer window has closed, but a Hasenhuttl urgently needs to find a solution if he wants to stay away from another relegation battle.
Goals are a problem for Southampton and Danny Ings lacks a late chance to save a point against Liverpool in their previous encounter in St Mary & # 39; s
Predicted line-ups
Brighton & # 39; s predicted start XI: Ryan, Duffy, Dunk, Burn, Montoya, March, Stephens, Propper, Gross, Trossard, Andone.
Southampton & # 39; s predicted start XI: Gunn, Vestergaard, Yoshida, Bednarek, Bertrand, Valery, Hojbjerg, Romeo, Armstrong, Redmo nd, Adams
Wat do the bookmakers say?
Despite their recent poor record against Southampton, Brighton's good start to the season and home status make them narrow favorites to win, with prizes usually around 7/5. Saints have potential hidden by their two defeats and have a good track record at the AMEX, so don't take their 2/1 chances.
Only three of the last 10 goals in matches between these teams have come in the first half, so a draw with Brighton to continue and then win can be tempting at 5/1
Who says what?
Brighton manager Graham Potter on his development side: I am pleased with the players in their application and their quality. The performance levels are really good, but we can improve because we are at the start of what we do. & # 39;
Southampton defender Yann Valery on improved performance on his part in Liverpool: & # 39; You can see since the coach came, we have a strong mentality and we want to win everything. Until the game ends, we continue to fight and work hard. We had to show a response. The coach told us he didn't want to see the same team against Burnley and that's what we showed.
IMPORTANT FACTS
Brighton has won only one of their last 10 games with Southampton in all competitions (W1 D5 L4) and won 3-0 at the AMEX in the championship in January 2012.
Southampton has been unbeaten in their last seven top-flight meetings with Brighton since a 0-2 defeat at the Goldstone Ground in December 1981 (W2 D5).
In all competitions, Southampton has lost only one of their last 11 away games against Brighton (W7 D3), with 0-3 in the championship in January 2012.
Southampton wants to prevent him from playing for the first time a Premier League campaign opens with three defeats time since 2012-13 under Nigel Adkins. The last five times they lost their first three PL games, but they still managed to prevent relegation.
Two of Brighton's four Premier League goals so far this season have been netted by substitutes â scoring only three goals through subs throughout 2018-19
Glenn Murray has scored in three of his four Premier League matches for Brighton against Southampton (three goals), with two of those strikes via the penalty spot.
Brighton boss Graham Potter becomes the sixth person to manage the Premier League game against Southampton after having previously played for Saints in the league (including Micky Adams, Iain Dowie, Mark Hughes, Garry Monk and Peter Reid ).

League Two Betting: Forest Green to restrain Norwood

League Two Betting: Forest Green to restrain Norwood Please share.
Honours could well be even at the New Lawn, says Ian Lamont, who goes for big odds wins for Grimsby and Macclesfield, plus goals at the BroadfieldâŚ
Expect a tight affair, even with Cooperâs sub subs
Forest Green [2.4] v Tranmere [3.4]; the draw [3.6]
Striker James Norwood is full of the joys of being the underdog in Tranmereâs run so far this season. They come into this game in sixth place although itâs a bit early to tell whether they can maintain a promotion push. Often, teams work sides out in the second half of a season, or the momentum stalls.
Rovers are in particularly fine form, with one defeat in 11 games. They are definitely no pushovers, rarely conceding more than once a game. The only time they have done so in that run is the three at Morecambe. Six clean sheets in that time, including the last two. Opta point out they havenât had three in a row since January 2013.
Do they play with more freedom on their travels? Play more expansively? There are certainly more goals (12) in their away games than at home (5).
But even though Norwood has eight goals this season and Harvey Gilmour has three in the two matches before Saturdayâs goalless draw at Yeovil, this is likely to revert to a low scoring game â and a draw at that.
Apart from the fact Micky Mellonâs side have four draws away, a big reason for making the argument is Forest Greenâs six home draws and 6-5 goal difference.
Home manager Mark Cooper was linked with the Brentford position on the back of the work he has achieved at Forest Green, taking them to promotion 18 months ago and this season pushing them to the top echelons of League Two.
Cooper was âdisappointedâ with his sideâs first half performance in the 1-1 draw with Cheltenham, castigated his defence and said they were too quick to get forward. Cautious, it seems, has served them well.
Substitutes Gavin Gunning, Reece Brown and Tahvon Campbell, introduced early in the second half, clearly pressed their claims for a start, changing the momentum and finding an equaliser. Tranmere, like Saturdayâs visitors, will surely attack. Both sides will battle. A point each? Sounds more than likely.
Mariners win would put Jolley on the map
Grimsby [3.6] v Colchester [2.24]; the draw [3.6]
What would be the biggest surprise of this round of fixtures? The layers have Grimsby at second-longest odds of the night at home (Morecambe are [4.3]). It would be a surprise if the Mariners could defeat Colchester.
However, Michael Jolleyâs men do have some momentum after two wins and a draw, all without conceding a goal. The draw came against high-flying Exeter, who have been free scoring.
That was largely down to keeper James McKeown, who saved a penalty, but also down to the defence which restricted their visitors to all other chances off target â and there were 11 of them, while Grimsby had 13 off-target ones themselves. They only managed one on target, something Wes Thomas and Charles Vernam need to address. Opta state that Thomas has three goals in his last four appearances against Colchester â and in the Football League heâs only netted more against Crewe (5).
John McGrealâs Colchester have been tough to beat away, with one defeat but also four draws. Grimsby have won once at home but it is amazing, after five games without a goal, what a little run of form does for confidence.
The hostsâ difficulty in restraining the Uâs will be that the visitors have scored in all but one game this season. If they have done the sensible thing and stayed in a hotel in the north for a few nights after their 1-0 win at Morecambe, they will be less tired and better bonded. But football clubs are rarely afford such luxuries.
They have fine players such as Sam Szmodics and Frank Nouble who could pick Grimsby open. But maybe the hosts can sneak a victory and start to prove the doubters about the manager â who include me â wrong.
Silkmen could battle to another victory
Macclesfield [3.0] v Northampton [2.6]; the draw [3.6]
Keith Curle is keeping tight lipped about the fitness of some key players ahead of the game at Macclesfield, who are bottom but who found the inspiration to win, to see off â as Opta remind us â an unwanted record of 37 consecutive games in the Football League without a win (interrupted by a few years in non-league).
Some managers are only too keen to tell you â and the opposition through the media â that they have injuries. Itâs all part of the game plan. But many are like the Northampton manager and prefer not to give anything away.
He reasons they have a small squad and giving away whether defenders Shay Facey, Leon Barnett and Ash Taylor are still unfit would let his opposite number figure out the team.
It is likely that Danny Whittaker and Neil Howarth, temporarily managing the Silkmen, will have put together an idea of how the Cobblers will line up, with or without that trio.
Midfielder Matt Crooks will be back from suspension, while Curle was purring about Hakeem Odoffin, a 20-year-old defender who started under Curle for the first time, making his sixth league start. He is backing his team-mates to bounce straight back. Curle believes it will take his side a while to build the necessary understanding in the final third.
As for the hosts, Peter Vincenti wouldnât have joined the promoted Moss Rose club if he felt they were going to be relegation fodder, I am sure. The experienced campaigner netted the winner over Curleâs old club Carlisle on Saturday and his side are showing a bit of fight for whoever the next manager will be. They might take another win here, because Northampton have won just once in nine, which would give any opposition hope.
Expect goals to flow in Sussex
Crawley [3.1] v Exeter [2.6]; the draw [3.6]
Matty Taylor demands more of the same as against Grimsby from Exeter as they travel to Crawley, presumably with one exception: heâd like them to shoot on target. Of 14 shots against the Mariners, one was on target â and that a penalty which was saved.
Spot kick taker Pierce Sweeney, then, will be one player who wants to do better. His defensive counterparts, led by Aaron Martin and Dean Moxey, all received rave reviews for their performances.
However, the Grecians couldnât find the back of the net which is unusual for them â the first time in seven games they had failed. Maybe Jayden Stockley felt that pressure to keep being better than Harry Kane and Mo Salah, having outscored them in the year so far.
Heâll get that monkey off his back soon enough, but even if Exeter do score â which seems likely â they are very probably going to see goals the other way. The visitors might only have conceded five times away, just like Lincoln and MK Dons who also occupy the top three, but Crawley have netted 17 at home, a tally which is only bettered by Colchesterâs 19.They have scored in all their home games. Only in August against Stevenage did they keep it to one. Gabriele Cioffi has not curbed the attacking instincts instilled under Harry Kewell, and why would he?
Defender Joe Maguire couldnât help but join the fun on Saturday, starting early by netting against Newport in the first minute for his first goal of the season. Well, ever, in fact in the Football League. But then the 22-year-old has only made 13 appearances, for the Reds and Fleetwood. Ollie Palmer has eight for the season already and if both sides attack as they should at the Broadfield Stadium, another game of over 3.5 goals beckons. Itâs available at [3.4].

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This week, we open at the subway during the night. People on and off the train, including an older businessman, Henry Wilkerson. He goes up to the street, seemingly anxious. He passes by a group of street kids fiddling with a soda machine, then a man playing the saxophone. He checks his pocket-watch, not realizing a woman is following him.
He gives the sax player a $20 bill then hits him with a hammer, killing him. He checks the pocket-watch again and heads back to the subway. The woman, Reatha, follows behind him, watching.
In the subway, he waits until the pocket-watch strikes 1 AM, however the number on the watch changes to 13 and all around him the world freezes. He alone can move about. He goes back to the street.
The next day, Micki and Ryan have to walk after the car breaks down and is towed away. They bicker about who is at fault. They are supposed to get a cursed chalice back by 5 PM. Micki suggests they use the subway.
In her home, the woman who had been following the man earlier finds the stopwatch in his desk. Henry comes home, telling Reatha he has goodies for her. But he grows angry when he sees her with the watch. Henry says it was a present from his father. The woman feigns ignorance, then plays up to him for her gifts. He gives her a solid platinum letter opener. Reatha is less than thrilled. He then pulls out some car keys. In the driveway is a brand new car. She is thrilled. She tries to ply him about the watch, but he just wants her to continue their weird sexual role-play.
That night, Reatha is with her boyfriend, Eric. He wants to make love, but she wants to talk about the watch and what she saw. She thinks it is a way for them to get what they want - and for her to be free of Henry. Eric is worried about the cops investigating him for real estate fraud. And besides that, his lawyer wants to get paid. He asks if she pawned her gifts from "Daddy". She gets him the money. He wants more, getting rough with her. He tells her to stick with her sugar daddy, for now.
At the subway, Micki and Ryan have the cursed chalice and are now waiting to re-board the subway. The street kids are there, daring each other to try stupid tricks close to the tracks. Micki and Ryan watch and Micki worries the girl, Skye, will get hurt. The girl promptly falls into the tracks, Ryan jumping after her. She jumps up, it was just a prank. Ryan gets out just in time. They scold the kids, who laugh at them and leave. Micki and Ryan board the train.
Later, two of the kids are eating their make-shift diner in a garbage-strewn alley. The boy, Johnny-O, leaves but his sister, Skye, lags behind. Soon, Henry is nearby, ready to use his pocket-watch again. This time, Reatha reveals her presence. He is angry, telling her to go home. She tells him she saw him kill the man and use the watch. He says it was all for her. She plays coy, asking to see the antique. She gets him to reveal that you have to be in the Castle Hill Station at exactly 1 AM and time will stand still, after you kill someone. Henry then raises the hammer, but Reatha gets him first, stabbing him in the gut. Henry dies, while Skye witnesses it all. When she rushes off, she makes noise and Reatha spots her. But the time is close, so the woman heads to the subway.
In the Castle Hill Station, Reatha just makes it in time for the watch to work. Henry's death has powered it, and time freezes. Reatha walks among the frozen world and begins to snatch items. She uses a frozen cop's billy club to smash a jewelry store window and steal a watch. Soon, she is laden with bags and furs. The hour passes and time resumes.
Skye and Johnny-O discuss what she saw. He says she should go to the cops, but she won't because she doesn't want to go back into the social system. He tries to push, but she resists.
Ryan comes down in the morning, Micki and Jack tell him about the murder at the subway, and the nearby robberies. Their interest is piqued by it all. Jack says there was another murder the other day, same area, and Micki says there were also more robberies. They day goes on with the three of them searching the Manifest and newspapers. Jack eventually finds the pocket-watch in the book, bought by a Bart Wilkerson, the last name matching the murder victim, Henry. After a call saying the car is fixed, Jack sends them to visit Henry's widow and he is going to look into Bart Wilkerson.
Reatha gives Eric the watch she stole, but he is still on edge. The woman who can implicate him with the cops appears to be making a recovery in the hospital. Reatha tells him it won't make a difference. She pulls out a hypodermic needle and some drugs and says she is going to kill the woman. Eric is unsure, but she says why not, she killed Henry.
Micki and Ryan arrive at Reatha's house, offering sympathy about Henry, then asking if he owned an antique pocket-watch. Reatha plays dumb, then plays up the grieving widow angle. Micki gives their business card as Reatha shuts the door. Eric now believes the watch might actually be something special. Micki tells Ryan they should head back to the subway.
At night, at the Castle Hill Station, they are looking for the street kids from the night before. They find Johnny-O and follow him. Reatha and an old man she met on the subway come up right after, slowly walking together.
Johnny-O comes back to where Skye has been hiding. He knows she is worried, even is she says she's not. They are startled by Micki and Ryan's appearance. Reatha plays up to her new prey, kissing him. She pulls out the watch and checks the time.
Micki and Ryan press the kids for information. Johnny-O and Skye want money for information. Ryan gives them $20, but the kids laugh and say they saw nothing. Ryan snaps at them. Micki acts kinder, giving them her card and telling them to call if they see anything.
Reatha leads the man to an alley. He is unsure, but she plays up to him, then draws her knife. She kills him and heads back to the subway, Ryan and Micki spotting her - and the watch. She seems them and dashes off. They chase her, Ryan grabs her and looks at the watch, seeing it change to 13 O'Clock. He is stunned, so Reatha hits him and he falls into the subway track. A train is right before him, but momentarily frozen in time.
Reatha heads to the hospital, making her way inside with everyone around her frozen. She enters the old woman's room and injects the drug into her IV line. Ryan wakes up in the tracks and sees the train before him. Just as time resumes, he jumps out of the way. In the hospital, the old woman reacts to the drug in her system, quickly dying.
At Curious Goods, Ryan tells Jack about the time freezing. Micki says to her nothing happened, one second Ryan was there, then gone. Ryan's watch is also an hour ahead of Micki and Jack's. They put together all the pieces of the cursed item. Jack says it is known in the occult world as "13 O'Clock".
The kids talk about what to do, Johnny-O wanting his sister to go to the cops, Â when Reatha appears, knife in hand. She chases the siblings, but they are faster. She checks her watch, not worried about them getting away.
Ryan, Micki and Jack find out that Bart Wilkerson had a grudge against the subway system, after he was fired for drinking on the job. He pawned the watch at Lewis' store, then bought it back a year later, with the bonus of the curse. Jack quotes Shakespeare, but is hard pressed to come up with a way to stop Reatha. Soon, Johnny-O calls, telling them they are ready to talk.
At her house, Reatha and Eric celebrate the death of the woman in the hospital. They are drunk with the power of the watch and what it can do for them. Before any of that, Reatha says she has to get rid of the street girl who witnessed her kill Henry.
Micki tends to the Skye's wound. The young woman looks around Micki's room. Micki tries to bolster the girl's feelings, telling her she was good doing her acrobatics in the subway. Soon they are all enjoying dinner together. The kids are grateful, then Skye tells them about seeing Reatha kill Henry. Ryan then takes a chance and tells the kids about the cursed pocket-watch. Johnny-O doesn't buy it, but his sister is more accepting. Jack says they are all in danger during the hour Reatha can walk freely among them.
That night, they all head to the subway, a plan in motion to try and catch Reatha. Johnny-O tells Ryan about the train times and that they have all the subway entrances under watch. Reatha is about, a new man in her sights. Soon, he stumbles out, stabbed in the chest. Micki rushes to him. Reatha and Eric appear and abduct Skye.
Johnny-O and Ryan search one train and come up empty. Reatha and Eric take Skye to the Castle Hill Station, waiting for 1 AM. Eric wants to go somewhere quiet, but Reatha says they have to stay put until 1 AM. Â Skye looks for an opportunity to make a break for it. She spots Ryan and her brother. The subway doors open, she grabs the watch and dashes into the train. They follow. Micki yells to Ryan and Johnny-O that they are on the train car. Ryan and Johnny-O rush off to find the emergency stop for the train.
Reatha and Eric chase Skye, cornering her in the last car. Ryan pulls the power, stopping the train in the dark. Skye tosses the watch, telling them it is useless if they aren't in Castle Hill. Reatha grabs it and tells Eric to leave the girl, they have to get back. They rush down the tracks. Ryan jumps out and attacks them, struggling with Eric. The man knocks Ryan out and leaves him behind. Johnny-O and Micki spot Reatha and Eric running towards the station. Soon, Ryan is in pursuit. He catches up to them, grabs the watch away from them as Reatha screams. But since Ryan has it, time only freezes for Reatha and Eric, who stand like statues.
At the store the next day, the kids come down, thanking them all for their help. But they want to go back to the streets, it is their home. Jack gives them a card for a friend of his who runs a youth shelter. They are unsure, but trust their new friends. Ryan says they can all drive down, but Jack again offers one of his quotes. When Ryan asks who said it, Jack motions to the man towing their car away, yet again.
~~~~~~~~~~
My thoughts:
A great episode. The cursed pocket-watch is such a great item for a story. The possibilities it holds are almost limitless. The restriction of the specific subway station is really the only thing that holds it back from being nearly the most powerful item.
I love the use of black and white filming for the world when time is stopped, except for the one using the cursed item. And love how that is reversed when Reatha and Eric are trapped in time at the end.
I wonder what became of them? Were they just frozen for an hour and then turned over to the cops? Or are they perpetually frozen in time? The show does not address this. Did our group stick them in the vault?
Also like seeing how our group helps the kids out, not forcing them to do anything they don't want to do, but offering ways to make their lives a little better. Also like how Ryan is more reluctant than Micki and Jack, at first, since he was the one who nearly got smooshed by the train thanks to their prank.
The relationship between Reatha and Henry is pretty icky. Her calling him Daddy and wanting her presents before being punished for snooping. Yikes.
Just a great episode with an interesting antique. If it had been in more capable hands, it could have been quite the weapon.

All Fun And Games |T.H Mobster Drabble
Summary: Mafia boss!Reader x Right-hand man Tom.
Words: Around 700 (Itâs just a small drabble!)
âHolland, did you get that info I asked for?â
The men began getting up, chatting quietly to each other as Tom made his way over to you. None of them even looked your way, knees shaking as they passed but Tom, he kept eye contact the whole time.
You, the mafia boss was ready to fall to your knees for the boy thatâd been eyeing you up and down all meeting, letting his eyes linger a few seconds too long on yours before licking his bottom lip, or sticking it between his teeth. Youâd managed to keep a straight face, focusing on the meeting as much as you could before your mind wandered off to thoughts of him and what he could do.
âHad it done and dusted an hour after you asked for itâ He smirked, his voice practically dripping with sensuality. Tom knew what heâd been doing all meeting, noticing the way your body would shift slightly when you folded your legs or impatiently tapped your fingers on the wood.
âThen whyâd it take you so long to give it to me?â You rest one hand on the table, the other takes the beige folder and places it down on the table. All of your men began filling out of the door two by two now until it was just you and Tom, the door slamming harshly behind them.
âI was hoping to catch you aloneâ He replied, lips curling up into a classic Holland smirk. âThe boys were starting to get suspicious.â
âIf they have an issue they can speak to me.â He nods. âWell, youâve got me alone, now whatâre you going to do?â Tom inched closer, one hand going under your chin and the other gripping your hip harshly, fingers wrapped around the thin shirt you wore.
âDepends, has my girl been good?â
âYour girl? If I remember, itâs me that can end your life if I do so wishâ You always tried to keep your walls up at first, wanting to see what lengths Tom would take. But you always ended up melting beneath his finger tips.
âBut darling, you wonâtâ He was so sure of himself, the hand that was beneath your chin was now sliding down your waist, flipping beneath the waistband of your pants and running along the line of your underwear.Â
âHow do you know I wonât?â Your voice came out as a whisper, fake confidence dripping like wet paint. âI can do anything, Tommyâ
âBecause Iâm the only one that can make you feel this goodâ
Without a second to spare, he slipped a hand beneath your underwear, your legs slipping apart for him on instinct and Tom almost smiled at the small whimper that escaped your lips, your teeth immediately gritting together to prevent showing him just what he was doing. But he didnât need to hear it, because he could feel it.
It was true because he was the only one you wanted as well as trusted to bend you over that meeting room table, the one youâd waltz in on at six am before an important meeting and climb beneath his pure, white sheets. Tom was the only one that could get you whimpering, clawing and muttering a string of profanities in a way that wasnât to do with work.
âYou won't get rid of me, princess, because Iâm the only one that can make you this wet with just my eyesâ He teased, stroking the spot that made your knees practically buckle.
âYouâre so fuck-fucking cockyâ Your fingers grip the side of the table as you refrain from bucking your hips.
He growled, placing his lips on yours in a heated kiss as his hand snaked its way out of your pants.
âOn the table, spread emâ, Pretty girlâ
