Hilary Duff's idea of a witticism is to respond to a person with their follower count.

Anyway, it was probably canceled because people STILL hate what they did to end HIMYM, refuse to get sucked into another creation by same team and be destroyed again. Also, I doubt any of the cast was as good as the one on the original.

The prior show she filmed was canceled before it even aired because she thought it a grand idea to have a spin off of a disney kid show be about her in mid thirty's, single, and hooking up everywhere. So she basically latched on to this spinoff to do same concept and it fell flat.

To summarize: She wants the brand recognition of the shows but only to establish she is not a "child actor" anymore by making it clear her character has sex.

There is a reason HIMYF as a concept died several times before after the disaster of the original's finale. If she were interested in attaching herself to quality, I doubt this would be the vehicle chosen. And I'm sorry but it is beyond desperate to turn a kiddy show into the new Sex in the City. If you want to have the recognition of Lizzie McGuire, then understand your audience. Or, try something new no one has done before and see if you can make it a hit without drawing on brand names.

himyf 2x07 - spoilers!

Charlie telling them about his worst Valentine's - damn that was funny, the first two attempts looked and sounded like a cheesy romance novel and I loved it 😂

Ellen looked so pretty, and her character is slowly growing on me haha, after last episode I'm slowly starting to get interested

Val's fit from the flashback was lowkey fire, I want that dress so bad 😂 (tho ngl the flashback was cringe, especially Sophie but that's fine, it wasn't too much😂)

Val and Sophie have such cute friendship fr

Jesse's flashbacks were hilarious, lmao I love him (I hope I'm not saying it too early on 😳😂)

"how hard is it to just ignore your body's signals until it's too late like the rest of us" Sid's so real for this, I hate how I can relate 😂

also, Sid going from "I'm a playboy, I can't be tied down" to "she's the only one for me" within like 5 seconds is so sweet and so funny, and I really need Hannah to be a bigger part of this show bc I love them

like, I'm sorry, I know it's about Sophie getting together with the father but atm I don't really care about that yet, I'm here for Sid and Hannah 😂 (I was a little whatever about their relationship last season bc she was barely here, but they had a few good moments this season and that was enough to get me obsessed 😂😂)

"the only thing we wanted was each other" can you hear me crying, this is so adorable I can't 😩🥺🥺 AND SHE CAME!! and they're even cuter!!!

Sophie's story was really something, wow 😂

I like seeing her and Jesse together, I lowkey ship them

I really enjoyed this episode - I was kinda wary during Sophie and Val's flashback bc it was a bit cringe, but overall I really liked the episode, it was funny and cute, and Sid is still my fave, and I'm gonna repeat it again: Sid and Hannah are THE couple and I need them to stay together forever and I need Hannah to have a bigger role (if they ever break up, I'll be devastated)
