ㅤ«If I was one to keep faith and believe that any sort of heaven exists, I would say Izumi has guaranteed her spot there already simply on the basis of having grown up with myself and with Shisui. I can't imagine a more complicated karma for one to carry and yet she never once felt compelled to give up hope on our idiot selves.

ㅤHumor aside it is not humor at all I absolutely mean what I said, Izumi is someone I fiercely admire. She's kind and intelligent and compassionate, resourceful and creative and talented. She is also incredibly resilient, considering the grief she's gone through despite still being so young. The kind of flower that blooms in adversity. Speaking of flowers-

ㅤ...She is also gorgeous like one, I suppose. Which is something I never gave much thought to, yet that, for some reason, keeps appearing in my mind as of late. Abstract thoughts about the graceful lines and shapes of her face, how silky her hair is to the touch, the warmth her hands always seem to carry, literally and metaphorically speaking. And then- ...thoughts that are all too concrete, about holding her hand. And holding her in a hug. Having her near at all the time, if possible - doesn't even have to be for the sake of doing anything, just to enjoy her presence. And... maybe kiss her again. That would be enjoyable. ...If she wants it, of course.

ㅤThere is suddenly a lot to be figured out, in ways that I never expected but that I don't really feel the need to complain about. On the contrary. Thinking about these new possibilities feels both exciting and confusing, as though I accidentally hit myself with a genjutsu that slows down my brain and makes my heart beat all too fast. And I am very curious to find out where it will eventually lead.»
