It’s Zantafio and Marsupilami's birthday today but unfortunately I don’t have any new art of them. However, here is a recap of my favorite pieces I did with them. And it’s mostly done in a comic book form.

Any excuse to draw Zantafio X Seccotine is always good. Especially if it boots new ideas for Taboo Love, which is the case here.

It's obvious who these people are that's going to kill Zantafio. Once again, I tried my hand at doing the French language. So how'd I do?

Just messing around with ideas for "Taboo Love" comic version and playing around with Clip studio paints filters and effects.

After the cop take a statement and the mugger away, she turned her attention to the direction of where Zanat ran and followed, She found him sitting by the fountain using the water to clean his wound, He soon notices Seccotine approaching and sit down beside him, She thanks him for saving her and offered to mend his hand. Zantafio reluctantly accepts and the two sat in awkward silence as Seccotine wrapped his hand. She has so many questions, why was he here, does he remember her? Why would he save her? So yeah I ended up making the Album version of Taboo love but whereas the other one for Spirou 06 was meant to be a sequel to Zorgman-Zanta. This version is more of a one-shot also I should note that in the albums Seccotine and Zantafio only meets once whereas in the 2006 anime they meet four-time. four of four

The fight was intense each landing blow after blow, Zanta evading the knife each time but he got cut on the hand.

Finally, Zanta knocks the big guy out just in time to hear a policeman coming cueing him to leave.

After Seccotine explained how she and Zantafio meet up and their "relationship" Spirou and Fantasio decide to accept it for now. 

But they're still wary of the whole thing, especially since they have to take him with them on there trip to Champignac for the week. 

Spip is not going to give Zanta a brake.

This page was a pain to do but it was a good learning experience. 

I had to ink this three times and figure out the color pallet, the dialogue and idea for this page came up on the fly so I was doing this blind without a script.

She was ready for anything Zantafio might be up to but she wasn't ready to see him in just a towel.

Seccotine has been gone for almost a month working on a new story so Spirou and Fantasio didn't think much of it so when they got a text from her the got a shock of their lives.

This was inspired by an early fan art I did of Zantafio and Seccotine. I thought about the very idea behind it, How did it happen is it real? Is Zantafio planning a new scam, or did he develop feelings for her?  There is a whole month gap so that’s enough time for him to get to know her better.

And as for Seccotine is she really in love with him or just doing it for her story, their so many ways to explain this and Spirou and Fantasio got front row seats to the madness.
