Sebson:

Literally husbands that got married in 2015, you are so right, and I was also there. They are so underrated to me!!!!! The original emotional support rivals okay 😭😭😭 they're just very special to me and make me soft and I love them okay??? Grace, you understand 🤧🤧🥹🥹🥹 Clutching all of their podium pictures to my chest. I feel like I have the 2011 season podiums burned into my brain atp even though I've not even watched it yet, because it's sebson season pt2

Martian:

Mentally ill about them in a bad way because every other week, we get some new thing(i.e. Seb's Germany 2008 post as of late), and I just cease to be a normal person for the next 48 hour period. I talk about their lore so much......

Tbh Martian and Sebson go hand in hand for me; combine them, and they are my favorite ot3 of all time!! But I feel very similarly, in terms of my passion for them. But like Martian is if I want something more toxic and Sebson is if I want something softer y'know!!!

whats your fav seb ships

sebmark/martian — I think it's quite obvious haha, I'm just so compelled by their dynamic, history, how they fit together, I love so many fics of them (Shutter Speed, che angelo sei, I Heard Youre a Player, pleaser is my comfort fic as of late, The Edge of Glory, fast in my car, White Out and so much more) but I'm gonna link the one that always makes me choke on a gasp as I read it: ignore the smoke and smile

I'm also in the process of reading some, including Everything Changes but you know, it's... long

simi — they are soooo adorable together, I never thought I'd love writing them so much, no notes, classic grumpy and sunshine trope with enough depth to go angsty if you want, one word: badminton (my fav fic: what a thing to choose)

sebson, sewis, mark/jb/seb, and brocedes x seb — are like in the neutral zone to me, I might write it, I might read it, I see the appeal but they don't make me crazy (if smn sends me a link to a fic that has the capacity to make me go crazy about those ships I might give it a go :))

sebchal — I meeeean, my two favs together but I prefer them as a more platonic duo, never gonna write them as a pairing, but reading, that's another thing lol, recent example: he's (k)not my problem

vettonso, sebschumi, seb x mick — not for me but I get why people might like it, not gonna write or read abt them sorry (Sebastian and Schumachers = platonic love <3)

also, are there fics with Max and Seb? because I'd be interested to check them out..

☕ favourite recent sebson and Martian fics

Ooh a favourite sebson fic would be-

This is pretty much a comfort fic, it's just so fluffy and fun! (Plus grumpy Mark.) It's by @f1-disaster-bi, an absolutely smashing fic writer. The basic premise is simple- slice of life AU with grid-parenting and fluffy couples.

Their Mafia Boss AU (I'd never expected to like this genre but oh well here we are) is pretty well done. And no that's not just cause of sexy charles. There's some Sebson in it, but not the main focus. I'll include a link anyway, cause that fic SLAPS.

This one's also a really good one-

It's by @charanteleclerc and short and sweet. It's a 5+1 through Bono's perspective (interesting if you think about it) and I'd definitely recommend it for the feels [the plus one hurts ): ]

I have to say I'm not super experienced with Martian fics but this. This fic gets it.

Min!!!! Hi hello!!!!! I somehow keep ensnaring people in this AU brainrot so I'm quite proud of that 🤭🤭 I'M SO GLAD YOU LIKE THEM <33333 THEY ARE SO VERY IMPORTANT TO MEEEE

My main post about it is here !!(So I won't write too much here cause that covers a lot and also because I'm planning to make a Part 2 to that at some point!!) And then various art here, here, here and here. But the gist is that it's a historical au with arranged marriage(Vettonso), but also the potential for wherever secondary ships one desires(mostly Martian and Sebson lol.)

It's a lot more nuanced than this, but I like to think of them as Seb as my precious bratty boy king/emperor with his husband King Fernandom who is like a stray cat, who eventually warms up to him. Jense and Fernando are probably the most important side characters. Mark is Seb's long-suffering personal aide(also holds a very important role in Seb's court though) and Jense is a rogueish prince(probably???? Not sure yet) who is also an important member of Seb's court(basically in charge of all horse related matters and transportation.) And then I'm still thinking of how to add everyone else in. Historically there's four important roles at the top of the Emperor's Court, and Kimi and Nico will take those other two positions!! Otherwise, everyone else I'm not completely decided upon.

I'm half asleep writing this so uhhhhhh just read that first post I linked, everything I wrote here kinda pales in comparison to that haha. And let me know your thoughts ofc!! and any questions!! <3 mwah
