Seborrheic keratoses are common, noncancerous skin growths that often appear as people age. These benign lesions are typically brown, black, or light tan, and can vary in size and thickness. While they may look concerning, they are generally harmless and don’t require treatment unless they become irritated, uncomfortable, or cosmetically undesirable.
