WELCOME BACK GFRIEND 🔮 ↪ season of memories mv ✨

It has been 10 years since Gfriend’s debut. As an avid listener since 2015 and a fan since 2017, their songs had provided me comfort and excitement during my high school years. I would remember that back in 2015, when I wasnt familiar with Kpop, I heard their debut song “Glass Bead” on the radio. Since I didnt know who is the singer, I tried to remember the melody. Its melody was catchy and memorable. Then in 2017, when suddenly all my classmates become a fan of Kpop, they played Glass Bead on the class’ TV. I thought to myself this melody seems familiar, then I finally found them. Since then, I have become a fan of Gfriend.

I love them so much. I hate what their company did to them in 2021 when they suddenly terminated the contract with the members. Obviosuly, the group members and fans were sad because Gfriend is beloved by all. Until now, there has not been an exact reason on why they terminated the contract. After 4 years, they are back for their 10th anniversary and as a BUDDY, I would consume and cherish any content of them. I love Gfriend so much, their music helped me during my depression days.

season of memories by GFREIND is kind of emotional because it reminds all of us older kpop fans of simpler times in kpop and in society. things have changed so much since then and not all of it good. so it’s so refreshing and kind of sad to be reminded of a time when things were easier and pleasant.
