Weekly update: Making things up

Hey there!This week I decided to do something a bit different. Let’s not think about ads today. No analyzing or praising. Let’s have a bit more fun. This week during our copywriting seminar we had some fun tasks that I want to share with you guys. So, let’s dive into it!

Best word ever

On a piece of paper we had to write down a word that we like or find interesting. No restrictions. 

So, this is my favorite. I tend to buy loads of books but they just end up on my table. I feel like this word represents me a lot.

My course mates chose some pretty neat words too. Here are a few that were memorable:

Neologist

This was a bit more challenging but non the less interesting. We had to mash two or more words and create new ones. We had to present them and explain what they mean. Here are a few that I thought of.

New ™  

One of the last tasks. We had to come up with something new and name it. It could have been a brand, boat, product or even a baby. I had loads of ideas but I settled with naming a boat. So, when I’m rich and can afford a boat I’m going to call it SS SeaBooty.

The 27th letter

The last thing we had to do is get into groups and invent a new character for the alphabet. Sounds quite difficult but we managed. So, I present to you the letter.

It was a lot of fun making things up. To my mind, it’s a great exercise to make your creativity flow.
