Although I’m partial to Gurdy’s design, here are some Pendulum Syrinx variants, with one taking a stroll up on the beach (a habit only the much smaller ones are known to do).
I like how the second one ended up with the ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ pose.

I love reading my old au posts, rediscovering old ideas. I still love em and I read as if someone else wrote them. Unfortunately they keep ending and the only way to make it continue is to make the author write more and the author is me 😔

today's invertebrate......xibalbanus tulumensis
she likes business, money, work and money
we don't talk to her, because she hates everyone
except for amphioctopus siamensis. she mildly tolerates him
one time she set the kitchen on fire

you know the funny thing about snayer is that i did deliberately take inspiration from quite a few animals for its design but not one of them was a snake

If you had to eat a bug, and it has to be living and at least an inch big, what bug would you feel the most comfortable eating?
I’ve had crickets and scorpion before but they were cooked and crispy.
Hmm…
Would larvae count? Could I just eat a non-poisonous caterpillar?

Bluu can levy entire towns, summon typhoons to sink naval fleets, and call upon monstrosities from the Mariana trenches, but will scream bloody murder if she spots a centipede crawling on the wall and will beg you to kill it for her.

Sharks, orcas, wolves, mongooses, hawks, owls, eagles, big cats, snakes, piranhas, centipedes, preying mantises, scorpions, spiders, squids, komodo dragons, polar bears, sea lions, crocodilians: entire groups of life adapted to eat absolutely nothing but the raw flesh of other creatures. Our society recognizes all of these as iconic killing machines. They all occupy a position in our collective consciousness that teeters between majestic warrior hunter and grim terrifying murder monster. Embodiments of nature's ferocity. Agents of death.
Frogs: an entire group of life adapted to eat absolutely nothing but the raw flesh of other creatures. We think they're silly guys who ought to wear floppy hats perhaps
