A little over three years to the day since the original version was posted, you can now get this new, expanded edition of my NeoScum Extended Universe zine featuring Aubrey, Nein and June (and a few others...) right here on itch.io.

This has been a major project for me this year and I originally wanted it to be done way WAY back in February or something but I kept coming up with new stuff to put in it and things to change and well! Here we are. But I think it's better for it and I really like some of the new stuff in here. It's FREE so you have no reason not to download it and take a look :-)

i have some noticeboards and stuff in the background of a few pages of Seraphim Drive and i wanted to fill them with actually relevant stuff and not half-ass it which got me thinking about what would even be on noticeboards in a Legacy of Adam facility where kids are gonna be moving between rooms and waiting in line for things a lot

coming in clutch with my belated christmas art that i just barely managed to get finished before 2023 is over... i ended up creating a setup for aubrey's whole apartment in CSP while making this because i keep having to draw shit in there and i need it to be easier for future me.

2024 goals is working on studying lighting i think. really pleased with how the lines on this turned out though. I was trying to think of interesting ideas for this year's drawing and realised Nein's love of craft stuff would absolutely extend to decorating elaborate gingerbread houses and she would get mad at you for trying to mess with it before she's completely finished

Aubey visual ref :-) artfight is coming up and i needed a break from comics so i finally. FINALLY. am getting around to making some reference art for my main trio

went to go pick up seraphim drive again post-art fight and realised that when it comes to drawing a couple of the final pieces it might be useful to know what the LoA facility that features heavily in it actually looks like so uh

i spent a week mapping the entire thing out

its full name is the Saskatchewan Experimental Research Facility and it's built on the site of an exhausted uranium mine in a remote spot in northern Canada. The previous owners wanted to sell it off quickly and didn't care to who or what the buyers did with it... perfect when you're looking for some infrastructure to build your military-grade hell lab around where nobody will be watching

it has... a reputation. being sent or allowed to work here can be a blessing or a curse depending on whether your passion for inhumane science outweighs basically everything else in your hierarchy of needs

Chroma, some time before she joined the DevilGRLS. This is about what she would have looked like the last time Aubrey saw her. A LOT HAS CHANGED. started drawing her during my break at work the other day and i needed to get some more sketches out because i haven't been able to stop thinking about her

Chroma was instrumental to Aubrey getting her current job and subsequently getting as far as she has in life post-LoA. One day I will tell that whole story
