“You can’t take anything for granted around here! I mean, I knew you probably weren’t just a regular old human, but...” but she could have been a regular old alien, or something, and that would have been equally boring.

This, though; this is anything but boring.

He holds his miniature Brobot to his chest and beams at her.

“You’re the second real, living android I’ve met here! It’s incredible... I almost wish I could give my robots your kind of energy.”

“Anyway, it’s nice to meet you. I’d-- love to get to know you better. Maybe over coffee? Fuel? Electrical recharge?”

Being a hero, you learn certain things. A big one is being able to tell when someone’s in need of help, or at least a kind word and a hug.

  As he walks, Sean shivers slightly, rubbing his hands together before blowing on them. He needs some gloves or something... this is even worse, having just come from Arizona in the summer. He exhales a few more times, watching his breath fade into clouds. His thoughts drift to the cabin, the snowball training. His gaze shifts further upward, and eventually, lands on a girl up in a tree.

  “Hey up there.” There’s a gentle smile on his face as his hands lower, revealing his full face, reddened from the cold. “Cool spot. I bet you can see pretty far, but can you get down on your own?”
