yeah, we do

the whole idea of monkey and buddy came from me and @alotofpockets having an idea and the universe sparked from that

and me and @lvnleah like to bounce our ideas of one another and our characters are in the universe also

sometimes it helps to have a little bit of help and maybe they do help me a lot, but it ends up with fics' coming out so is there really a problem with that?

i’m not sure if I’m mistaken, but don’t monkey and Jordan play the same position and if so, maybe Jordan could come back on loan or something when monkey is about to give birth and is on the sidelines plus it would help having both parents so close

mhm, they do! that might be interesting to write about, but 100% jordan will be there for monkey when she gives birth to rugrat

I think it would develop monkeys character seeing her go through physical symptoms like her speech being impacted (kids can become selectively mute, start baby talking, stuttering, or their speech can stop developing so it’s not at the age appropriate level), loosing weight/her appetite or wetting the bed while she’s with her dad and then those being part of the reason why the social worker starts to work out that somethings not right.

Those things also carry on so it could be something that once monkeys with Leah again she struggles with her bed wetting or having no appetite, or her speech which obviously because Leah makes her feel safe and will do anything for monkey she slowly starts getting better.

Those are just my thoughts though, I’ve loved the series so far and I love way you’re doing it so please don’t feel pressured to include anything like that if you don’t think it fits! 🫶🫶🫶

yesss i think i will try and include some of this in when i get to writing bits. i kinda have her already stuttering but not like the rest so i will look into that but thank you i'm glad you like my writing

I think that has just broken my heart, baby Monkey just wanted Jordan, Leah and her family 🥺 Leah was fighting so hard to have her in her care and as horrible as it was to see her requests denied for that asshole, you can also see why it was denied considering how young she was 😭

The angst in the fics about Monkey growing up just makes you appreciate her life later on when she's finally back in Leah and Jordan's lives in the capacity they've always wanted 🥹

It's both beautiful but achingly heart wrenching when you see how joyful and unguarded Monkey was with Leah and her family and then compare it to the initial quietness she had around them when she was coming back into Leah's life 😭

Once again you've smashed it and I'm due another re-read of this universe ❤️

What if I just cry 😭😭 how did it not click in my mind that Monkey, Leah and Jordan have been in each other's lives since she was THAT young?!

They really have seen her in every different stage of her life, Leah promising to take care of Monkey no matter what is so emotional because we all know just how truthful she was being to Monkey's grandma 🥹

Wait so were Monkey, Leah and Jordan still in each other's lives the whole time or was the contact between them lessened when Monkey had to move in with her dad???

Yeah, she really has been…

She has always close with them, but when she moved in with her dad, the contact lessened. Monkey was pretty smart to not let on about things happening at home, she saw them just not as often

I have plans to write other parts of this to explain kinda but I don’t want to give too much away
