Anon: 13th member of Loona is struggling to eat and sleep due to stress so when she gets lightheaded during a fansign/concert. -❄️ if not taken

Loona’s 13th member who is the maknae getting really overwhelmed with juggling school and idol life. She starts taking some drugs that are supposed to help her stay up, while simultaneously hiding it from the other members cause she knows that they would kill her if they knew. They slowly start getting more and more suspicious until something happens and they finally catch her taking the pills. She still tries to brush it off but they won’t let her. Thank you so much

Author’s note: I decided to combine these requests because they are pretty similar and I don’t want to have to write separate fics and have them both look nearly the same as each other. Also, i tried to research more on the medication for this sort of situation just to make it a little more accurate but if there is anything I did wrong, please feel free to tell me

Slamming your head on the table, you let out a groan after finally finishing your homework. But once you checked the little sticky note you placed just by the lamp, you whined when you saw that you had three more things to finish.

After this, you had to head to the company for practice.

Lifting your head, you did your best to finish up the rest of your homework before finally packing up and grabbing your phone. You went to hurry out of your room when Jungeun’s voice called out, indicating that you had to leave soon. But as you reached the door, you paused, hand on the doorknob as you glance at your desk.

Reaching for one of the drawers, you pulled out a pill bottle before quickly taking one out and popping it into your mouth. Screwing the cap back, you placed the bottle back inside, making sure it was hidden under the various papers and other items you had before shutting the drawer and heading out.

As soon as Jiwoo caught sight of you, her face lit up like usual before clinging to your arm and leading you outside. You plaster on a smile, perfectly practiced, while Hyunjin eyes you from a few feet away when she was talking to Yeojin, brows furrowed slightly before shrugging her shoulders and then getting in the other car so you could all get going.

“Hey, did you eat breakfast?” The older girl questioned after situating herself on her seat and you blinked in surprise before checking your phone for the time, mentally cursing yourself for forgetting. “Oh! Uh, I had a few snacks in the room.” You lie, plastering the same forced smile and leaning back.

With all the things that was happening to you, you would absolutely forget all sense of time and missed meals. Though with your tired and drained self, you found it difficult to even have the appetite to eat much except for a few bites, which, Jinsoul and Kahei have reprimanded you whenever they noticed.

Your members aren’t aware of the pills, however, but you preferred it that way because you know that as soon as they find out, you were screwed. You were doing this behind their backs, so that made it much worse, because there was always going to be some sort of way to prevent resorting to such mechanisms, you thought it was the easiest in helping you since things have just been too much.

Luckily, no one was able to pick up on it since you were able to mask it well, playing around and laughing when everyone was around. But that was just you.

Unaware of the few eyes that often lingered on you, you would go on with your day without the worry of anyone finding out.

Staring at the bottle in your hand, you grimaced while continuously glancing at the time. Your manager was coming to pick you all up for a concert and you had only an hour of sleep and just a snack bar after finishing the group project you had to submit a few days after.

It would have been easier to finish, but you had gotten stuck with possibly the worst kinds of group members with two of them being nothing but leeches and another constantly butting heads with everyone. You had no choice but to do everything yourself and it was wearing you out with how you had to juggle all of that, your homeworks, and practices.

“Y/n-ah, com-”

Yerim pauses at the door when you hurry to stuff the bottle inside the drawer and throwing it shut, head snapping up to meet the purple haired girl’s gaze when you slapped on another forced grin. “What are you doing?” She asked you, alarm laced in her voice but you quickly waved your hand and then grabbed your things before leading her out of the room.

“I was just double checking some stuff for school! But we should go, unnie.” She doesn’t quite believe you with the way you avoid her gaze. Based on the few years you’ve been together, the girls could easily tell whenever you were lying or hiding something from them.

But with how you were all in a hurry, the bright haired girl wasn’t able to protest as she went along with you, making a mental note to notify one of the older girls due to your weird actions. She was sure what she saw had nothing to do with any school works, but she would let you be for a while until the performance ended.

“You seem troubled.” Jinsoul observed from beside the usually cheerful girl and patted her shoulder. “Nervous?” She questioned, but Yerim bit her lip before shaking her head. “It’s not that, just a little confused I guess.” She muttered as her eyes went back to where you were having your makeup done.

Yeojin and Hyejoo were messing around behind you and laughing because of how you were falling asleep with the makeup artist constantly waking you up.

The older girl followed her gaze and sighed softly before she smiled. “Don’t worry. After this, she can catch up on some sleep.” She assures, but Yerim shook her head before finally turning so that she’s facing the blonde.

“Y/n’s been acting weird.” She suddenly says and her brows pinch together, shoulders tense when she crosses her arms. “I mean, she’s been doing a good job but she doesn’t talk as much lately and she’s always stuck in her room when we’re at home.” She recounts the various times she’s caught you busying yourself in your shared room but refusing to spend more time with any of the members.

“Am I being clingy?” Jinsoul was surprised by the question, but before she could compose herself and answer, Heejin was already there to cut in. “You’ve noticed, too?” When both girls look at her, they see that Kahei is also there, watching worriedly as you sleep next to Hyejoo while Yeojin was finishing her makeup.

“You’re talking about Y/n?” The pair nod and Heejin lets out a breath while shaking her head. “Hyunjin’s told me that she’s seen her taking something lately. At first, she thought they were just vitamins, but Y/n has been super secretive about it.”

“I asked her about it and she was acting really clueless. When we asked Vivi unnie to talk to her since they’re the closest, all she said was that she was fine and just stressed with school.” She added, the eldest nodding in confirmation. “Haseul and I went to check, before, but Chuu told us she went to the bathroom at the time.” Kahei began to tell them, her concern clear on her face. “While we were waiting, you know how we have trashcans in our rooms?” She asked.

“I noticed a bottle in there, so I checked it out since I remembered what Hyunjin said. There were so many blank papers, almost as if she was trying to hide it there.” She reached into her purse and held out the bottle, letting them see the label.

“These are��” Their eyes widened and Kahei grimaced while nodding her head, putting the bottle away. “How long has she been taking them? And why?”

“We don’t know yet. She’s been so busy with school and we’ve been working on the comeback on top of that. We didn’t have the time to talk to her. We didn’t want to do this in front of all the members, but it looks like more than half of us are already aware.” Heejin explains with a frown when she glanced over to see you had already been woken up.

Judging from the look of things, you and the other two, along with Sooyoung, decided to practice the choreography before getting on stage.

With a heavy atmosphere, the girls decided to take the matter in the dorm where there wouldn’t be any unwanted attention and possibly cause a scandal within the group.

When you were all performing, you all were able to maintain a professional air around all of you, but when it wasn’t any of their parts, the girls would watch you with careful eyes, and Hyunjin did notice the slight change in your expression, as well as the falter in your step when no one seemed to notice.

At the end chorus of the song, you could feel the nausea hitting you harder compared to earlier. The lights were making you dizzy and lightheaded due to your lack of sleep and food intake. Your breathing had grown ragged and before you even knew it, you were on your knees, one hand on the floor to keep yourself up and the other used to clutch your head.

Fans gasped at the sight and your members were thrown off by your sudden collapse. And instead of continuing the performance, Kahei had broken formation and ran to your side to check if you were alright. She helped you sit up and let you lean against her instead while the rest of the group circled around you, all looking worried as you struggled to keep your eyes open.

“Y/n, what’s wrong? What happened?” She asked, but the ringing in your ears made it difficult to comprehend what exactly she was saying. You only screwed your eyes shut tight before feeling hands reach for you and then you were being carried off stage by the staff.

“Girls, we need you to move so we can check on her.” The staff explained when the medic arrived. Your members had followed quickly, forgetting about ending the performance. When you were placed on the couch to lay down, Chaewon grabbed one of the hand fans and handed it over to the eldest because she thought you needed something to cool down.

They all quickly did as told and watched as the staff began to run a quick check up, checking your pulse, temperature and everything else that was necessary. When he asked you to try and follow the light shone to your eyes, you had a bit of struggle in doing so before he finally finished.

“Is she going to be alright?” Hyunjin asked worriedly and the man nodded his head. “I didn’t find anything too alarming. She’s exhausted. Despite the makeup, she’s paler than she’s supposed to so I think it’s best to give her something to eat and probably rest for a few hours.” He sighed while checking his notes. “If anything else occurs that you think could be a problem, I’d recommend taking her to the hospital for a more thorough examination.”

After thanking him, everyone got ready to leave since there wasn’t really anything left for you to do there.

Jungeun kept you beside her, holding your head against her shoulder, letting your legs rest on her lap as you curled into her when you had dozed off again. The van was unusually quiet, but due to your state and Haseul’s orders, it was understandable why that was the case.

Most of your members would keep stealing glances at you throughout the ride home while the others tried to catch a few minutes of sleep as well.

“Y/n, we need to talk.”

As soon as you were seated on the couch and Sooyoung prepared some food for you, Hyunjin had spoken up. And judging by how Jiwoo, Jinsoul, Kahei, Haseul, Heejin, and Yerim were looking just as serious, you had an inkling feeling as to what this was going to be about due to how both Kahei and Heejin have approached you before.

“We aren’t mad.” Heejin assured you when she saw the way you refused to look at any of them in the eye. “We just want to know why.” Haseul murmured when she sat on your other side, placing her hand over your own to let you know that they truly weren’t angry at you.

“We notice how you rarely eat. Snacks don’t count as meals though and they won’t give you enough energy for when you need them.” Jinsoul scolded. “And sometimes I’m not sure if you get some sleep.” Jiwoo states, being your roommate, she would know. “I understand staying up on some nights, but not sleeping at all?” She adds while Yerim frowned. “Y/n, when was the last time you had at least six hours of sleep?” The question makes you go quiet and it was clear to them what the answer was.

Sooyoung arrived with your food a little after they all sat down to talk to you and she crosses her arms when she sees the way you stare at the bowl. “You either eat it on your own or I’m going to feed you, myself.” With the tone of her voice, you know she isn’t joking this time and nod your head before reaching for the bowl and slowly eating what she prepared for you.

“We want you to be honest, okay?” Jinsoul purses her lips when Kahei hands you the empty pill bottle, all of them watching as you stiffened in your place. “Where did you…”

“I found it in your room when you tried to throw it away.” She explains softly. “Why do you have them?” Sooyoung questions immediately, her lips pressed to a thin line as you let out a shaky breath. “I-I don’t-”

“Y/n, please. We just want to know the truth. What’s going on?” You feel Haseul squeezing your hand. You stare at your lap for a while, chewing on your bottom lip as you tried to gather your thoughts with everyone patiently waiting for you to speak.

Finally relenting, you shut your eyes and shake your head. “I was scared, I guess.” You muttered and Jinsoul sits down on one of the couches. “Scared of what?”

You had to pull your hand away from Haseul’s as you rubbed your arm, shrinking into yourself as you let out a heavy sigh. “That people start realizing that maybe I’m not good enough.” You finally admitted. “I’m still a child and I can barely work through both my school requirements and our schedules. If I start lagging behind, everyone’s going to think that I’m not fit to be an idol because I don’t have what it takes.”

Suddenly, you felt someone hit the top of your head with a rolled up magazine. “You are such an idiot, I swear.” Sooyoung started. “Just because you’re struggling with school and being an idol doesn’t mean you aren’t qualified.” Heejin tells you when she managed to pry the magazine away from Sooyoung’s hands.

“Majority of us debuted while we were still studying. You have Yeojin, Choerry, and Olivie Hye with you when you go to school, right?” Yerim nodded at Kahei’s query, but it only made you frown more, stubbornly wiping away tears when they began to trail down your cheeks. “But I’m not as good as them.

“That’s not true!” Yerim quickly interjected as she moved from where she was standing and was soon kneeling in front of you. “You’ve been working just as much as the three of us, and sometimes even more. We admire you so much because, even though you’re a year younger than Yeojin, you’re still able to keep up with us and even try to help on some of the things we’re studying despite being unfamiliar with them.”

“You’re also one of the few who are quick when it comes to practices and recording.” Jiwoo added, Hyunjin and Sooyoung nodding in agreement. “You keep looking at things that you can’t do but fail to notice the things that you can do.” She tells you with a soft smile. “Maybe you start realizing that you are enough.”

“And with all of that, there are a number of kids your age who try to do the same. But look at you - already debuted and working on our comeback.” Heejin said with a supportive smile and you realize that what they were saying was true.

You’ve been so stuck and stressing out on things and allowed them to pile up. In the end, it only harmed you rather than help you.

“If there was ever anything you needed help with, you have twelve pairs of hands who are willing to lend a hand.” Kahei nudged your shoulder with her own. “Thirteen heads are better than one, after all.” Jinsoul grinned and you couldn’t help but crack a smile when Haseul wiped the rest of your tears away.

“Now that we’ve settled this, can you please stop with the pills and talk to us instead?” She asked and, though you hesitated, you ended up nodding and agreeing to their request.

You didn’t want to depend on something that could potentially ruin both your health and career. Instead, you’ll learn to be a bit more dependent on your members instead.

im. a bit confused about the loona pairs in these teasers are these the mirrors we’ve been theorising about the whole time?

- choerry and hyunjin i get. obv. they led with choerry and hyunjin right? probably bc everyone already knows the connection bc theyve been highlighting it the entire time lol. hyunjins link to oec (primary colours), choerry acting as her replacement in oec? kind of? like a version of hyunjin that jinsoul and kim lip created? maybe? and then choerry took hyunjins place in that version of love and live and so what showed them as twins and maybe theyre supposed to be the same person. or maybe theyre just besties who knows anyway

- i think olivia and heejin were next and theyre obvious too the first and last girl and then they meet on the roof in egoist and its like the loonaverse/mobius strip has come full circle or whatever but also im pretty sure theyre both the closest things to deities the loonaverse has like heejin was the first girl the founder, i think she invented colour? thats heavily implied in vivid anyway and then olivia maybe invented darkness?? or something idk im pretty sure shes got something funky going on bc nobody else has random laser eyes (also when are THEY making a comeback) and if yves and/or jinsoul truly are the loonaverse’s villains well then theyre both working against olivia right so that would make her..the loonaverse’s saviour??? mirroring its founder?

- chuu and haseul are both the December Girls TM and both the powerhouse vocals or whatever so theres an immediate but basic connection but i also think that bit at the end of heart attack was haseul maybe trying to save chuu from yves’ charm but she was too late, bc werent chuu and gowon the ones to tempt hyunjin away from her oec duties or whatever with the bracelet (im going to circle back to oec they are objectively the coolest part of the loonaverse) meaning that chuu and gowon dont actually have access to 1/3 world/plane/whatever you want to call it or i think they would have been a bit more direct about it bc that was obviously yves’ idea, chuu and gowon are not portrayed as cunning enough to come up with something like that imo, and anyway obviously haseul is in 1/3 world so i wonder if the connection between chuu and 1/3 world was about to be lost and that was haseul trying to hold on and pull her back? also i think most orbits think that all the girls started off in eden and branched out but i think they actually started off in 1/3 world, like the normal world where heejin/god wants everyone to be, and got lost for various reasons but im less sure about that.

- yves and jinsoul both radiate pretty sinister energy i mean jinsoul is always randomly showing up and giving off a weird vibe (a. why was she following vivi around hong kong b. kidnapping choerry with the cherry cake?? c. egoist. what d. why not when shes just lurking on the corner in the phone booth. also sweet crazy love implies that she got her odd eye first since kim lip and choerry are walking around with their eyes starting to hurt but jinsoul has already been to the optometrist, and then she can teleport so she can show up basically anywhere and just do what shes gotta do to be evil or whatever) and then yves is pretty explicitly and literally a snake in the grass, breaking out of eden which im pretty sure is supposed to be purgatory, which would mean that waiting it out and getting the approval of the teacher at the end as olivia did is what youre supposed to do but yves was rebellious/impatient and just took the sneaky back way out except then she ended up getting lost in the forest with chuu and gowon (which begs the question of what exactly happened to yeojin because they were very vague about that) (and also what the forest is supposed to represent? hell? in that case where are odd eye circle? because if heejin is god that would imply 1/3 world is heaven? are odd eye circle in the land of the living? did...bbc kill off loona) anyway that was rambly but chuu and gowon are clearly living their best lives in 1/3 world/heaven/whatever because of a. the haseul thing and b. gowon is clearly going through some kind of transitional state where the shadow/blonde gowon are gowon from another plane (or the future? because if its ‘gowon from another plane’ that implies two gowons) and i dont think shes coming from oec world or shed have an odd eye so she must be coming from 1/3 world but i dont think theres actually any proof of that other than the process of elimination...unless chuu and gowon knowing where to send the bracelet to hyunjin required them having some memory of where 1/3 world was thus implying they both came from there? anyway so they were probably in heaven/angels? they do wear white in hi high, but then in love4eva and butterfly promo pics they wear black maybe suggesting theyre fallen angels? and the reason theyve fallen is yves tempting them, i think yves is absolutely the devil of the situation if heejin is god, im not sure what that makes jinsoul but shes definitely sus

- this is where im getting confused though because i dont really understand what the immediate gowon-vivi and yeojin-kim lip links are? with gowon and vivi i think theyve both been manipulated by yves and realised their mistake when its been too late (vivi becoming a robot, maybe through some kind of bargain yves made with olivia to sacrifice vivi to save herself or something? bc yves and vivi would have been the original troublecausers together so maybe yves spun some kind of sob story to olivia so that olivia would kill vivi and spare yves and then heejin intervened and turned her into a robot temporarily.. man idk and then gowon seems to regret her choice the second she leaves eden (looking back at olivia/hesitating to eat the rose) but she has to just shut up and go along with it i guess) but by that logic you could probably link vivi gowon chuu and maybe olivia and choerry and maybe even jinsoul all together bc hasnt yves screwed basically everyone over? so im not totally sure how they mirror each other exactly, and then im totally lost on yeojin and kim lip. theyre both warm colours? unless their thing is that theyve both been separated from their group within the loonaverse? bc yeojins group was her haseul and choerry, and then choerry was taken to oec world and i guess replaced with hyunjin(/heejin to an extent but it seems like shes everywhere all the time) and kim lips group was her jinsoul and hyunjin, then hyunjin was taken to 1/3 world and replaced with choerry, so theres that link but that doesnt necessarily link yeojin and kim lip specifically bc haseul and jinsoul are also involved but then if it turns out jinsoul is evil and teleporting all over the place with her evil schemes, and i dont get that same vibe from kim lip so maybe its..betrayal? bc with yeojin, i think haseul may have been being chased by her bird self or something, or held hostage maybe? im hoping the bird haseul will come into the lore explanation for why shes been gone (bc im pretty sure theyll work the hiatus into the lore somehow, it would be weird if they didnt imo) anyway so if haseul left yeojin bc of the bird thing and yeojin didnt know about the bird then maybe she would feel betrayed by that...also i thought of this as i was typing but i think kim lip and yeojin have both been lost in the forest due to the actions of their supposed best friends (in the lore) because i think haseul getting kidnapped by the bird or whatever left yeojin on her own and left her susceptible to however one would get lured into the forest...actually if the forest is indeed hell then i just came up with a bit of an uncomfortable and upsetting explanation for that, maybe if being all alone and/or being chased by the frog drove her to, u know, then maybe thats how she ended up there, and then with kim lip i think jinsoul put her there actually. i dont know why but its Something Nefarious i bet

- which then begs the question of what is going to happen this era?? we left off with the girls completing the ritual to turn back time and presumably get haseul back but that opens so many doors? will vivi turn back into a robot? will eden be reinstated? will yeojin be back in the forest? with how jinsoul was lurking around and never really coming out of the dark/hiding in why not, im pretty sure shes got something up her sleeve... odd eye circle could come back properly in some form or another but maybe with jinsoul controlling the other two (if she wasnt already)? also while im on the subject, what are odd eye circle actually doing? who are they? ive always fondly thought of them as a witch coven but..are they actually a witch coven? something to do with the power of three and thats why they had to kidnap choerry? i know theyre looking for the other girls but what for? if they were alive and the other girls were..less so, were they maybe trying to summon them to the land of the living?

- also...i hope yeojins frog man makes a reappearance

🎼 You Are the Music in Me | Chuu

Request: Hi! Can i request a high school!au with loona’s Chuu where she and the reader are in the same music class. Chuu has a crush on the reader, and when they’re paired up for a project they start hanging out after-school etc. (e.g something like Chuu’s web drama: Dating Class)

Plot: Jiwoo has music class with her crush, Reader. The teacher put them paired up in a project and their feelings grow stronger as they spend some time together.

Walking down the halls of the school towards the rectangular room hugging her notebook was something Jiwoo was already used to. Her black shoes already knew the path naturally as they hit the smooth beige and somewhat slippery floor. There were few people heading in that direction; most were going on Spanish or Geography classes, and they would be just a little bit late. But Jiwoo knew you would be there.

Her hand reached for the doorknob and she slowly opened the door, realizing that you were already with the teacher, both with your respective guitars. You were very focused and didn't notice Jiwoo's arrival. She closed the door, went to one of the last chairs in the room and sat down, all in a very quiet way so as not to bother you. She knew you were improving a lot on the guitar, every day you arrived early because the teacher knew your potential.

And every day Jiwoo arrived early to be able to see you for a while and, who knows, to talk a little more with you, always using music as an excuse to start it. It was a beautiful day, she realized as she looked out of the room's large window decorated with musical symbols made of cardboard and hand painted in black.

"You are getting better in fingerstyle, Y/N. I am really proud of you, keep practicing.", the teacher said, praising your effort and realizing that you were really dedicated to the lessons.

"Thank you." you said, smiling and getting up to take a seat while the other students arrived.

Everyone sat in different places and you sat next to Jiwoo, turning to her, still smiling and supporting the guitar on the wall behind you.

"Hey, how are you?", you asked. "Writing new songs?" you pointed to her notebook.

Jiwoo gave one of those huge smiles that would even make ice melt. She was genuinely happy that you were talking to her.

"Yes. I'm just having a little trouble finding a melody."

"What are they about? And if you want, we can work on it together."

"They are about-"

"Hello, guys. Can I have your attention?", the teacher asked, interrupting Jiwoo and everyone turned to him, silently. "Great. As you know, I like to propose different activities for you throughout the classes. And, as this class is already fixed, I know I can bring you good tasks, since you are such dedicated students.", some clapped their hands and everyone agreed. "So I had this idea for the end of this semester's project: covers."

Everyone was excited about the professor's idea. That was really cool, wasn't it? Everyone doing covers of different songs, who doesn't like covers?

"So, I'm going to divide you into pairs and one person from each pair will come to my table...", he turned, took a hat. "And will take a paper from inside this hat. Each one contains a different song. There are famous soundtracks, classical music, pop music, etc. I want this duo cover to have your identity, the signature of your art, together. Shall we start? ", he looked across the room and started forming pairs.

You approached Jiwoo, leaning on her table.

"Imagine this: Dowoon and his duo take a paper that has some Whiplash¹ music. It would be great, wouldn't it?", you said, excited.

"It would be awesome. But I'm a little worried, what if the teacher joins two vocalists?"

"Ah, he won't do that.", you said, quietly. "I'm sure he will bring the right people together."

"Y/N.", the teacher said, making you look up. "What do you think about being a Jiwoo duo, since you've been talking since the beginning of class?", your faces flushed. "Okay, one of you come over here, time to find out what song it will be."

You got up, gave Jiwoo an embarrassed smile, and went to your teacher. He held his hat full of small folded papers and all the students in the room were anxious to know which song would be selected.

You put your hand on the bottom of the hat and took what you believed was the last folded paper. You pulled it out and unfolded it. You gave a light laugh, not believing that the teacher selected that song to be part of the project.

"Say the name of the song.", some student said.

"Ahm... You Are the Music in Me, from High School Musical 2."

Some students laughed, others were a little jealous. But that had been unexpected. If the first song selected had been part of a teen musical, many surprises were hidden in that hat. The teacher smiled at you and asked you to sit down.

You went back to your chair and handed the paper to Jiwoo.

"Fortunately my partner has an incredible voice. Ready to perform with me, Jiwoo Montez?"

"Yes, I am, Y/N Bolton!", she replied, excitedly.

But in fact, Jiwoo was in a mix of excitement and nervousness. Having you as a partner for this project could be one of her greatest wishes, but it was also something that made her afraid. What if she screwed it up? What if she ruined the whole project that you seemed so excited to start? Anyway, Jiwoo would do anything to make this duet perfect. She was getting what she wanted: spending more time with you.

While she smiled, hiding her nervousness, her fingers tightened on the sides of the composition book. All of her songs were there. And they were all about you.

"So you're going to sing a High School Musical song, a romantic song, and you are really trying to convince me that this doesn't sound like a cliché musical romance movie?"

Jiwoo sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Okay, all right, Hyejoo! It looks like a musical romance movie cliché."

"I knew it. Come on, look at you, she texted hello and you're already excited."

Jiwoo and Hyejoo, her friend, reached their school lockers with red doors that stood side by side and opened them.

"I like Y/N.", Jiwoo said, taking out her geography book. "You understand what I mean, you're at the theater club because of Chaewon, not because you love acting."

"Hey! Speak louder, I don't think they heard you in Canada yet!", Hyejoo got angry.

"But you understand what I'm saying because you feel the same way. Y/N texting me, being my partner on a project and saying hello to me... this is a lot and... she's so amazing.", Jiwoo closed the locker’s door and was startled.

"Jesus Christ!", Hyejoo almost shouted.

You were leaning against the wall next to her with a smile on your face and holding the books for your next class.

"Good morning!", you said to the two of them and then turned only to Jiwoo. "I found the perfect place to rehearse. Before lunch, I'll pick you up. Class of...", you looked at her book. "Geography. I'll be waiting for you at the door, will you go?"

Jiwoo nodded. You said goodbye and she turned to Hyejoo, her eyes wide with concern.

"Do you think she heard me?"

"It would be surprising if she didn't."

You picked her up at the classroom door and you went to the place that would be great for practicing when you couldn’t do it at home. You learned from another student that, for some bizarre reason, the acoustics were perfect behind the gym's bleachers. When you arrived, you sat down on the floor and started talking.

"We have a month for that. I think it's a good time to develop a good cover.", you said, taking out from your backpack your notebook and a pencil. "Any idea?"

"I was thinking about being a cover more of the voice and guitar type, you know?"

"This is great, very natural and suits us. I think trying to use other instruments would get in the way. And your voice is very good, it will hold everyone's attention.", you praised her.

"Hey, don't say those things.", Jiwoo scolded you, cheeks flushed.

"It's just the truth."

"But you will sing with me, right? It's a duet..."

"Ahm...", you weren't sure about that. "It's just that I don't know if it will sound good..."

"We practice together, I help you, okay?"

You nodded.

Jiwoo was feeling so good, every time she was in your presence it was as if her heart had finally found some peace. For Jiwoo, you were the personification of the most beautiful song.

"What if it was like... fingerstyle?", you suggested.

"It looks great to me. I heard the teacher praising you while playing, I know you got better with it."

You were a little embarrassed but you smiled at her, thanking her. You talked for a little while longer and decided it would be cool to rehearse after school too. The next day would be Saturday so you would go to her house with your guitar and it would be a very productive day for training the song and for you two to get along.

With the end of classes, you decided to take Jiwoo to her house, so you would know where she lived. Luckily, she didn't live very far from you, not even from school, so you could walk and it wouldn't take too long to arrive. When you left her at the door, you said goodbye with a hug.

Jiwoo entered and went straight to her bedroom. She dropped her backpack on the floor and threw herself on the bed, like a girl in love. But that was exactly what she was: a girl in love with you.

She hugged the pillow, remembering the hug that had happened just a few minutes ago and remembered the compliment you gave to her voice. She kept smiling for a long time.

Saturday came and brought an afternoon of clear skies and fresh wind. You texted Jiwoo, telling her you were going to her house, and anxiety took over her heart. Would you like her bedroom? She arranged everything, even though everything had been organized since the previous day. She prepared snacks for you, left the notebook and pencil nearby for you to write down the ideas in case they came up and waited for you.

When the doorbell rang, she practically ran to the door and opened it for you. You came in with your guitar, introduced yourself to her parents and you went up to the room, excited to start rehearsing.

"Being honest, it’s been a long time since I listened to this song, I had to keep listening to remember the lyrics.", you confessed, laughing.

"Me too, it seems that I knew nothing but the chorus."

Jiwoo told you to sit on the bed and you sat down, she sat next to you and you took the guitar, tuning it quickly while she warmed up her voice.

"You have a beautiful voice, Jiwoo. I am delighted every time I hear you."

She smiled at you, melting your heart. And you started to rehearse.

You decided that the song should stay calm until the end, like a ballad, and when you started the first chords, Jiwoo noticed that you were playing in the appropriate tone for her voice. Did you pay so much attention to her or was it simply because she had warmed up in front of you and you noticed it at that moment? Ah, she didn't want to be fantasizing in her head, but it was impossible. She was in love with you.

After a long time rehearsing and adjusting some things, improving a way of playing a chord or another, remembering the lyrics together, you thought it would be cool to take a break.

"Do you want to eat something? An ice cream, cookies, sandwich...", Jiwoo offered, sliding her hands on her jeans, trying not to look so nervous in your presence.

"I think I will accept the ice cream, Jiwoo."

She went to the kitchen and you stayed in her room, you could see how that room had all her energy and personality concentrated so perfectly. There were pictures of her with her friends, pieces of music written on post-its spread over a single wall and you got up so you could read them better. Everything vibrated there, a positive energy that emanated with strength, making you feel good, just as Jiwoo's presence did.

On the desk, there was a picture of her with her parents and also her notebook of compositions. You knew you shouldn't get it without her permission and you didn't. You would wait her to come back. But when she came back, you ended up talking about other things while eating chocolate ice cream and the notebook was still left on her desk.

The weeks passed and the bond between you was growing stronger and stronger. Jiwoo didn't expect you to get so close, but for her it was great and being around you didn't make her as nervous as before. Of course, the butterflies in her stomach weren't silly at all and with every smile you gave in her direction or even the simple fact of calling her by her name woke up those damn butterflies. But the nervousness of being around you, the nervousness that had sometimes prevented her from talking to you about simple things, was gone. And, in its place, there was a feeling of comfort that made everything in your presence better, with the smell and taste of chocolate, and as good as only you could make her feel.

You felt the same. It was good to be with her, even a little addictive. Jiwoo's aura was very good and whenever you met in the halls or had similar classes, you made sure to spend some time talking; sometimes they were even making you get late. But it wasn’t too much, it was good for you and you found yourself thinking about here more and more. And her voice... you were sure that if angels really existed, they would be jealous of Jiwoo's voice.

With so many rehearsals being done almost daily, the harmonization between your voices was perfect. Every detail of this cover was perfectly aligned and you were sure that the A was guaranteed with this project before the summer holidays. You both made a last rehearsal on Wednesday, but it couldn't be at Jiwoo's house because it was her cousin's birthday and she and her parents were going to visit her. So, in order not to be too much work, you went behind the bleachers in the empty gym.

When you sat down and started what would be the last rehearsal before the performance, Jiwoo noticed that she never felt that kind of happiness before. She sang that song with her heart.

"You are the music in me...", she ended the song along with the last chords on your guitar, your fingers over the strings and the satisfied smiles on your faces.

You were looking at each other for a long time and Jiwoo wanted to tell you everything she felt, that seemed the appropriate time to finally talk about what filled her heart.

"Y/N, I...", the unspoken words were interrupted by the ring of her cell phone, a call from her mother, and she answered.

The mother said it was for her to hurry or they would arrive very late at her cousin's house. Jiwoo ended the call and stood up, somewhat frustrated at being interrupted and knowing that now the moment was gone.

"What were you going to say?”, you asked getting up, the guitar in one hand.

"Nothing important. Just that tomorrow we will rock!", she squeaked as she said the last word.

"Yes, we will!", you hugged her.

Jiwoo was afraid that you could feel her heartbeat beating against your chest, it was so strong, and it was due to the hug. She was loving being in your arms and realized that it was lasting longer than a normal hug, but she didn't want to let go. However, she should go, so she slowly released your shoulders.

"Let me know when you get home.", you said, fixing her bangs.

"Oookay!", she said, smiling from ear to ear and waving at you as she left.

You didn't know what was going on, but you felt like your body was screaming with joy. It wasn't just the feeling of being with Jiwoo close to you that made you feel good. Even the simple thought related to her already made you smile. And you knew. You were in love.

The day of the presentation came and everyone in the class went to the auditorium, as usual. The teacher gave the initial considerations and you were sitting in the tenth row, alone. For some reason, Jiwoo hadn't shown up yet and you were worrying because it was a long month of preparation, lots of rehearsals, a lot of closeness and affection. Was she okay?

You were about to take out your cell phone when she sat next to you, a little breathless. She had run over there.

"What happened?", you asked in a whisper as the first pair started to introduce themselves.

"I was doing something.", for the first time you were watching a Jiwoo with a serious face. "I need you to promise me that you'll read this but only after the presentations are over.", she held up folded paper in your direction.

"Okay. What's going on?", you were going to catch the paper but she moved away from you a little.

"Just promise. Please."

"I promise, Jiwoo."

Seeing the sincerity in your look, she handed it to you and you kept it in your jeans’ pocket. You didn't understand what was happening and you knew she didn't want to tell you; whatever it was, it would be on that piece of paper.

When you both were asked to perform, you went on stage to the applause of your classmates, Jiwoo took the microphone and looked at you with a big smile as you took the guitar.

"1, 2, 3 ...", you mumbled while playing the first chords.

All the rehearsals were worth it. You two sang as if you were in Jiwoo's room, as if there was no one else there but you, and looked at each other while you sang. The presentation was perfect and in the end you received applause followed by applause. The teacher praised you so much that you knew that the maximum grade would not be enough for the presentation you had just given. Everyone was delighted, including you two.

When all the presentations were over and the class was over, you turned to Jiwoo but she was already leaving for the next class. You wondered if you had done something wrong but did not find an answer to that question. You remembered the paper in your pocket then picked it up and unfolded it, noticing Jiwoo's beautiful handwriting and her name at the top of it. It was a letter.

What you didn't know is that it was actually a love letter.

"Y / N,

I'm saying this in a letter because I didn't know if I would have enough strength to get dumped right in my face. And I donn't know how your expression is now, but during the time that I'm in love with you, I notice many details on your face and would know if you were disapproving my feelings for you.

So that there are no problems, I wrote this letter.

You may not have noticed, but when I look at you, I smile. When we talk, I feel so nervous that it makes me uneasy. Sometimes, I can't sleep and that is because I think about you a lot. And the way you call my name makes it sound new every time you call me.

The truth is, I'm in love with you. And I am not sure when it started, but I know it is strong.

I hope I haven't ruined our friendship. I will be very happy if you want to remain my friend.

You couldn't help but smile at the letter. Both for knowing that Jiwoo was in love with you, and for the little face she had drawn at the end of it. You folded the letter and put it in your pocket again, took a deep breath and knew that even though you were late for class, you needed to find Jiwoo.

You ran through the halls looking for her but they were already empty, everyone was in class and you should do the same, so you did. You didn't dare to pick up your cell phone since the professor could collect it, but you kept thinking about that letter and what you would like to say to Jiwoo.

Jiwoo was putting the books in the school locker, worried about you showing up, so Hyejoo was watching the place to warn her if you arrived. She just didn't count on her friend being distracted by a conversation with Chaewon, who came by to ask something about the next play.

"Why did you run away from me?"

Jiwoo closed the locker’s door with a surprise and you were there beside her, staring at her, waiting for an answer.

"Oh, no, no, no!", you could see a certain despair in her voice. "Please don't hate me."

"What? Jiwoo, I would never hate you. In fact, I feel the complete opposite of that. I feel the same way as you, Jiwoo. I'm in love with you. I was looking for you to say that, but you ran away from me... "

A slight silence as Jiwoo's beautiful smile appeared on her face.

"Are you serious?", you managed to notice a sparkle in her eyes as she asked.

"Totally. We can be a pair. If you want, of course," you suggested.

"Of course I want to.", she hugged you tight, without worrying about her heartbeats, as yours beat strongly against hers.

You took her home as soon as school ended, hand in hand, and when you arrived at the door, she asked you to wait a moment while she opened her backpack. You watched as she pulled out the notebook full of lyrics that she was composing herself. Jiwoo handed it over to you.

"Take it home. I need your help with some melodies.", the smile she gave and the confidence she had in you were enough to make you feel radiant.

"Wow, that's quite a responsibility. All of your music..."

"Do not worry." she opened the door and went into the house. "It's all about you.", Jiwoo closed the door before you could answer.

You smiled, putting her notebook in your backpack and walking towards your home. You were looking forward to being able to rehearse more songs with her.

OK HyunJin missing shoe -> crossing over? Choerry is a counterpart to HyunJin within OEC and symbols in Girl Front allude to HyunJin as coming over to the reverse side... also could be why her shoes are black when the girls on the moon have white shoes... see also the reversed footage of the black shoe stepping down... I really do think it’s meant to be that she is on the reverse side now that I think abt it

The girls shown with cars are Yves, ViVi, Olivia, and Chuu which is VERY conspicuous in that it’s Yves and the three girls to have their MVs be the most about Yves so yes I very much agree w the interpretation that the cars correlate to the girls Yves screwed over, esp w the ending there of ViVi in Yves’s position but apples left behind. Also that Yves be the only one with MULTIPLE cars while ViVi/Olivia/Chuu are only shown with one (until ViVi ends up in Yves’s spot)

WRT the orbs I definitely think the change in number is important specifically that they change from 3 to 12. The presence of 12 leads me to believe the orbs in some way correlate to members so I’m tentatively suggesting that the 3 surrounding Kim Lip initially are YYXY. I say YYXY as opposed to OEC by virtue of well. Kim Lip is OEC. So I don’t think it would make sense for her to be surrounded in the way she was by a group she’s the ostensible leader of, especially since her initial expression is distressed. There’s also the matter of A. her rising and B. that the grass beneath her turns purple as she does, a callback to LCM. I think in that sense as well a connection to YYXY makes sense- in both, the subject of the scene would’ve been called upon by a group to do... something. I think it’s safe to assume the girl positioned over the hurricane is Kim Lip, as we’re shown that image just after she disappears from her initial position and the orbs become 12. Also Jinsoul’s right eye turns blue for a moment so we know OEC is active at this point (aside from Choerry being upside down).

CHRISTMAS STARTERS

There really was something that had to be wrong with this girls head. Finger’s played with long strands of blonde hair, from where she laid her head in his lap, the both of them just enjoying the peace and quiet as the rain bounced off the windows and Strelitzia slept curled up in a pile of blankets near the small tree that she’d insisted was needed inside Chuuya’s room after what he and Miran had done for the little girl. Inside this hotel, it was like a different life. Through the rain, he could make out the outlines of the Port Mafia towers, he was aware of the silent war that waged on beneath them but for now, he was content just to lay here with Miran, helping her to relax like she’d been helping him recently.

“You could do much better”, he found himself muttering, shaking his head slightly afterwards. There was no need to spoil this moment and besides it wasn’t as though Miran wasn’t aware of who he was or what his job was - but she’d forgiven him over the manner that they had met, had given him a room to call his own, trusted him to watch over her little sister. There was a lot that suggested that there may be a few screws loose in this girl’s mind but - he’d fallen for her, that couldn’t be denied, “Well if I’m yours, you’ve got to be mine”.

He smiled lightly, leaning over to give a gentle kiss before glancing back towards the fogged-up windows, the wind causing the rain to battered against the thick glass, just helping to add to the overall atmosphere of the room. “How long should we let her sleep for? Last night she wouldn’t sleep cause she napped for way too long...”, that had been a nightmare but Annastacia but been able to lull her to sleep somehow and though he had more than a touch of dislike towards the Russian, he tried to get along for Miran’s sake. As long as it didn’t involve his work ~ he’d call peace inside these walls at the very least.

honestly, i’d like to start this post off by saying thank you!!! never would i have thought that i would ever reach over 100 followers,,, so the fact that i’ve hit 1000 followers seems so unreal to me,, so thank you guys! for supporting my writing and dealing with my nonsensical rambling!!
