there’s something unusual about the caprices that plague him lately. he hasn’t been calculative with his personal choices too often than not, sure, but some aspects of his life have been kept constant, especially when it comes to his hair. the length of it has remained more or less the same, with the end trimmed regularly to ensure it’s tidy. but that’s about it, he’s been keeping it that long for so long, years and years. today, nevertheless, his hair meets its demise on a rather whimsical decision, but sejong would like some changes to occur in his life since he typically sticks with the monotony pertaining to his private matters. except for his romance, that’s for sure: yoonsu has always been unpredictable at best, but today, he’s going to be the one giving yoonsu a pleasant surprise. or so he thinks, hopes.

and tonight, it is a rather quiet one. there’s no turbulence in the itinerary, the attacks from ccg largely subdued. as told to yoonsu previously, he’s waiting for yoonsu in the confines of his own apartment. asking yoonsu to take away some chinese food for supper is a trick to ensure that he arrives earlier than yoonsu, otherwise this surprise doesn’t feel as startling. when he senses yoonsu’s aura entering the hallway of the apartment’s, he gets on his feet, ready to stand there before yoonsu. the beep that resounds faintly when yoonsu taps the card on the door to unlock it makes his heart beat faster. he’s sure yoonsu would’ve heard it upon entrance. he grins when his lover closes the door behind his back, welcoming yoonsu. “hi, hyung,” he greets, still with that foolish grin curved. “what do you think of my new haircut?”
