Hi it's me again! Sorry i'm requesting too much. Can request any scp character with a reader who is homeless but surprisingly good at hiding it. But there are subtle signs like them always getting to work just on time, clothes that have totally seen the sewing kit a few times, hell they just don't even say anything most of the times cus it's clear they've got a hoarse throat but no meds. Basically they work as the janitor and are giving most of their money to there family to help with their issues so the reader just sleeps in their car.

Explaining:

-during your time working for the SCP Foundation you sadly began to slowly suffer from homelessness.

-it started off as things that seemed easy to fix, you made deals with the light company to pay extra next month, begged your landlord to let you pay in halves

-that was an easy fix after all you'd get a raise soon right? With how badly the interest of renting was going up you needed it..

-then your family began to suffer, you were hardly scrapping by and now you were getting calls from your mother begging for money to help with cancer treatments

-You began to give the majority of your money to them, your deals with the light company and your land lord going up in smoke when you told them 'i can't pay this month i'm sorry..'

-One day when you returned to your home after a long day of work, needing a shower you saw a note on your door. Your blood ran cold when you saw it was a '30 day notice' you had 30 days to leave.

-Your friend came over and helped you pack your stuff, but you had nowhere to put it..that's when your father told you that you could store it all at their place

-now with your things stored you tried to find homes, anything with cheap rent but it was useless. The rent for nearly every place was 1000+ and your paycheck now hardly gave you 100

-So now you've decided to start sleeping in your car, you didn't want your family to worry about you so you told them that your new place just couldn't hold all your stuff. But you'd come back to get it once you got a bigger place

-you also lied to their face and told them you had a small apartment, all the while you slept in your car in the site-19 parking lot. No one really seemed to bother you but that was probably because you were just the janitor

-well..there was one person who seemed to bother you, they'd always hear how hoarse your throat sounded and tell you to go to the on site doctor.

-or they'd see the bags under your eyes and your unbrushed hair and ask if you had been rushed to work today

-you never told them anything, you lied to their face just like your family. You didn't want anyone to look down on you OR pity you.

-but one day as you were brushing your teeth near your car holding a water bottle in one hand and brushing your teeth with the other. Just as you spit you heard a slight gasp

-turning your head around your eyes widened as you saw....

Dr. Elias Shaw

-Dr. Shaw stared at you, she had come outside to leave work for the day a little later than usual. When he spotted you "shit...y/n do you..live like this?"

-they asked glancing at the car and the makeshift bed in the back, he heard you sigh "yes i do. Look i'm sorry if it's not allowed on site i'll find a Walmart or something to sleep at"

-Dr. Shaw looked at you with confusion and worry mixed on his face "no no, no need for that." She put a hand through her hair "Jesus Y/n why didn't you tell me this was how you lived? I could've gotten permission to give you a dorm"

-you looked away from them "cause i don't want anyone pitying me." Elias tilted his head confused "what? No one would pity you though. Hell y/n you can't sleep and survive in a car. Trust me i tried"

-you looked at Dr. Shaw as they watched you, you looked embarrassed to be 'caught' like this. You felt like a kid who had been caught shoplifting.

-Dr. Shaw sighed "look, if i can't get you a dorm why don't you uh..stay with me? I've got my own place outside of the site." She crossed her arms "and honestly i'm not too keen on leaving my friend homeless"

-you nodded putting the water bottle in the side of your door "..okay, sure..thank you Dr. Shaw" he smiled "just call me Elias"

Dr. Clef

-Clef had his ukulele held in one hand as he faced you, his cheshire grin slowly turning into a frown "shit i was hopin' to catch ya before ya left, but uh..didn't really expect to see this"

-You looked embarrassed that Clef of all people found you homeless, he was probably gonna tell everyone now and then they'll all just make your life harder by taunting you about it

-But Clef just sighed taking off his hat and scratching his head "didn't know our pay grade was that shit." He put his hat back on "c'mon." He said motioning for you to follow him

-you looked confused "where are we going?" After speaking you tried to clear your throat, Clef looked back at you "to getcha some medicine, then you'll be staying with me at my dorm..i mean unless you really do wanna stay in a car outside of our lovely little site."

-you followed the short man as he chuckled "i'll admit you were pretty good at hidin' it till ya got that awful cough of yours."

David Blindman

-from the shadows emerged the blindman himself, he held a walking stick as he 'stared' right at you. You thought you could play this off "oh hey David, i was just about to head hom-"

-he interrupts you "no you weren't." The man stood his ground his big ol' seeing eye poodle/chupacabra cupcake next to him.

-You tried to change the conversation "what are you doing here? You don't work for the Foundation" he nods "indeed i don't, i came here for a..family meeting."

-the two of you stared at each other before David spoke "you can't live like this y/n, i have plenty of room for you to stay with me if you want."

-you looked away for a moment towards your car then at him "i'm fine David, i can manage" he tilted his head "can you?"

-after he said that your mind began to race with thoughts, how long would you actually survive like this? How long till you die from not receiving any medicine? How long till you starve?

-you sighed "you're right..shit." David smiled at that "my place isn't far don't worry"

Mikell Shaw

-a cigarette hung from his mouth as he walked over to you, he put the camel brand pack into his pocket as he looked at you "why the fuck are you brushing your teeth outside?"

-you couldn't even make up an excuse for that, especially with how your car looked. Mikell was a smart man and it wouldn't take him long to connect the dots, and just as you thought that you heard him mutter a curse

-he drew the cigarette from his mouth blowing smoke to the side "you live like this?" He said side glancing at the car

-you spoke your voice hoarse "y-" a cough interrupted you "yes" Mikell stared at you as the cigarette slowly went out in his hand.

-"you're coming with me, i got a ranch you can stay at." He said almost sounding as if he was *demanding* you to go with him.

-you spoke "bu-" he looked back at you "do you really wanna argue with me about trying to get you a better place."

-you shook your head and spoke "no, i'll follow you there..thanks Mikell" he nodded taking a drag from his cigarette "no problem"

Dr. Glass

-Glass walked towards you with a saddened look "y/n? Are you..are you living in your car?" You didn't know how to answer the doctor, you didn't want him to worry about you..you didn't want anyone to worry

-"I um.." You couldn't mash together an excuse or anything, you couldn't lie to Glass..he'd know somehow he'd know.

-Glass sighed as he walked over to your car picking up some of your blankets "come on" you looked at him confused "wha..what are you?"

-Glass looked back at you "i refuse to let you sleep in your car, it's not good for you mentally and physically. You'll sleep in my dorm"

-you couldn't refuse the therapists kindness, he wouldn't let you. He'd just keep insisting to help you until you finally accepted his help. So you nodded grabbing your bag with your necessities and followed him back into the site.

Alright so, you and David had been dating for awhile. Y'all were each others rocks, very lovey dovey y'know?

But you both held secrets from each other, with him he held the truth about his family. He lied to you all the time spinning a story about how his parents had been killed by some guy who called himself 'agent cowboy', while you lied about your job saying you just worked as a doctor and usually had to stay late sometimes.

Which wasn't far from the truth, you were a medical staff member at the SCP foundation and had to occasionally stay overnight to help some staff members with whatever happened to them. You knew the name agent cowboy as well due to your time within the foundation, and you felt awful for David. You knew he was anomalous too and you wondered if his parents had been as well. You almost felt the need to protect him, fearing if anyone knew he existed he'd be taken away..and you?..well who even knows what'd happen to you.

You also decided to hide the fact you were working for the very people that supposedly killed his family. You feared he'd hate you if you told him, or worse you feared he'd fear you.

One busy day you had been working on a rather aggressive D-class, the dude was jittery and kept staring daggers into the back of your head. You never questioned why patients were brought to you or the reason why they act the way they do, especially not after meeting Dr. Amar and watching them take the life of someone else just for shits and giggles. You thought it best to never question anything or anyone, just keep your head down, do your job and be quiet. After you helped the D-class and sent him on his way, you checked your computer hearing a familiar 'ding!' alerting you of an email. You thought at first it was some emergency in sector blah blah blah. But you ended up getting an email from an unknown person, which was strange and anxiety inducing due to the place you worked at. Your head was already making up what the email said before you even opened it. Did you fuck something up? Were you gonna get fired? Or did they find out about your anomalous partner. You opened the email feeling sweat beads form on your forehead, your eyes never blinking as you read every word from the unknown person. They wished to speak with you and tell you the truth behind your blind lover. Your breath hitched in your throat, 'oh gods this is it..' You were already imagining walking into some unknown steel room and getting gunned down by the MTF over your partnership with David. You felt tears start to form out of fear, you didn't have a choice to refuse this offer either as at the end of the email a small note was left threatening your job being taken away if you didn't show up. You thought about telling the higher ups, maybe they'd help but you feared if they asked too many questions about your partner they'd find out about his abilities and take him away. You had no choice, you shook your head turning off your computer and grabbing your keycard.

So here you are, walking down the halls of the site you worked at. Glancing at every person you passed by probably looking insane while doing so as some seemed to look back at you with a confused look. The person wanted to meet In an abandoned office area now used for storage, you opened the door with your keycard and walked into the dark room. Dust causing you to cough and the door behind you making you jump as it closed. A dim light turned on and you were met an albino man in a cowboy hat. He just looked you up and down at first utter silence as you stared at him. The man had one leg over the other sitting back in an old desk chair, he cleared his throat before he spoke "So, David got a partner aye? Didn't even tell ya the truth about their past did he?" You got defensive "how do you know he didn't tell me." The man chuckled a bit "you wouldn't be here if he did." You stayed where you were scoffing "you threatened my job if i didn't show up." The albino man shrugged adjusting his hat "alright then, the look on your face is obvious. You're curious about the information I have, but hey if I'm wrong and you believe him just turn around and walk out." You stood there glancing back at the door before sighing "that's what i thought. Sit." His voice grew more serious as he told you to sit, almost like an order. He kicked over an office chair towards you, you grabbed it and sat down rolling closer to the desk he sat behind.

"So, how long you two been dating?" You looked at him "why does that matter." You said aggressively, watching as the man put his hands up in a surrendering position "alright lil aggressive, understandable. I'd be aggressive to if i ever found out my partner lied to me our entire relationship." You scoffed at him "just tell me the supposed truth." The man nodded before pulling out a file from the desk, throwing it down "His name is David Amar. His parents are still alive, divorced but alive and his fathers name is Mikell." You took the file reading it as he spoke, you raised an eyebrow at him "how do you know any of this?" The man grinned "cause I'm his father."

An awkward conversation followed, Mikell speaking about David and their hatred for each other. Though Mikell admitting he doesn't fully hate his son just hates how he acts around him. He didn't seem to have a problem with you two dating but warned you that continuing this relationship may cause some awful events in the future.

Now for the hard part, going home with this new information. You wanted to confront David, maybe he had his own reasoning but you both had been together for years. How could he lie to you? But now you thought about it, how exactly would you confront him? You were sat in your car still at the foundation thinking over how to confront him. Each idea worse than the last, 'hey honey! Learned you actually lied to me our entire relationship wanna explain??' You hit your head against the steering wheel knowing if you did confront him there'd be no way to not tell him where you work. It'd be pretty hypocritical of you to lie while confronting him about lying.

The drive home didn't feel real, your anxiety up and you heart beating fast enough to hear it. When you parked in your shared driveway you couldn't help but tear up a little at the fleeting thought that David would leave you. You tried to calm yourself down, reaching to grab a tissue from the glove compartment in your car. As you did a small knock was heard on your window causing you to jump, you whipped your head around to see David. Letting out a sigh before rolling down your window "Hey hon" his smile seemed to disappear as he heard your voice "Y/n..you uh..okay?" You went quiet before responding a few seconds later "let's..talk inside"

It took awhile to actually speak, for a bit the two of you just sat on the couch together, you took occasional glances at Mr Cupcake sleeping in the corner on a doggy bed before finally speaking. "I know David, I know about Mikell." You heard his cane drop causing Mr Cupcake to wake up and look over at you two. Davids shoulders rose as he grew tensed "you..how." You swallowed the lump in your throat as you told him "i..i work at the foundation. I've been a medical staff member there since before we even met. I got an email from a person asking to meet and, it was him.." David was quiet as you spoke, he just looked towards the ground as Mr Cupcake looked between you both "i..didn't wanna say anything about where i worked out of fear, I..love you David.." You reached to touch his hand just for him to flinch away. You felt your heart start to break as you stared at him. He held the hand you had tried to touch staying quiet as he processed what you said. It took him a minute to finally speak "i..I'm not mad. I have no right to be mad at you for your career choice..just.." He looked over towards you "stay away from him, he's not a good person. I lied about him out of fear even speaking about that lousy piece of shit of a father would find me." His voice rose as he spoke, he stood up grabbing his cane "i don't care that you work at the foundation but god dammit I'm scared for you now. What'd he say to you, did he twist some story about still caring about me?!" You nodded "y-yeah..he said he still loved you just not how you act" David seethed with rage as he stomped his foot "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" He yelled "That piece of shit is the REASON I act like this! And he!-" he paused taking a breath "no..no. I'm sorry if I scared you Y/n, i didn't mean to. I'm just..angry that he even had the balls to contact you after what he did. You want the truth I'll tell you it."

The entire night had been spent with David telling you of the abuse he endured with Mikell, the yelling, the arguments and finally the night when David lost his eyes to his own father. You sat horrified at every detail he told you, the Amar cult composed of mostly Mikells children, the evil things he's done that David knows of. You both held each other passing out on the couch together, the next morning you debated even going into work..

-He's also yet to really tell you about his family, sure you know Claire and Jack and all this time you've just suspected a ranch family with two parents and three kids. Not a ranch family with 5 kids, some guy named Tamlin, and dozens of possible kids from his dad

-He's actually really good at keeping this all a secret, it's when he becomes an 05 that it becomes harder to keep it a secret. He ends up just like his parents, always gone and never having anytime with you or his kids.

-You try to get the truth out of him, but he'd rather tell you he has a second family then tell you he's an 05. So he just continues to lie right to your face, once you ask too much he just uses anesthetics on you.

-Again all this time he could've told you, but if *you* told anyone you'd be dead. So he'd rather make you forget you even questioned his job then tell you out of fear.

-David met you in his youth, he had just started up the 'Amar cult' which at the time was only a couple kids and two adults that were his half siblings. Of course he kept the cult a secret when he first met you, he kiiiinda found it a lil embarrassing that he had a literal fucking 'cult' because his dad and grandpa couldn't stop fucking people and getting them pregnant.

-You took pity on him at first seeing as how he was blind, but he surprised you by seeming to somehow get by and act as if he could see. You just kinda guessed since he was blind maybe his other senses got better? You had no clue how he became blind but yeah....

-David was the one to ask you out, he came to your house and asked to go out with you. He was romantic with it to, brought flowers and everything and ofc you said yes

-so now it's been some months, the cult is growing..a lot. And he does feel the need to tell you. But how the ever loving fuck does he tell someone that he has a cult made up of his families illegitimate children.

-so he just keeps it a secret and constantly lies about where he's been, he'll usually tell you he's been busy at 'Blind people anonymous' meetings. All the while he's meeting up with the cult to discuss things.

-you also don't know about his family, he'd rather jump into an active volcano then let you know about them. So you've never met them, in fact he calls himself an orphan and claims his parents died a long time ago

-You do tho eventually learn about his eyes, but he tells you it was by some 'psycho' he doesn't know..which honestly isn't that far from the truth

-he keeps you in the dark for as long as he can, if you find out you find out. But he'd like it if you never did, not cause he's ashamed but cause he's just borderline embarrassed

-Whatever you craved he got it for ya, or well he'd try to sometimes you asked for some pretty weird things

-He doesn't care what gender the kid is and seems to be sure of what y'all are having, probably his lil future visions showed him

-When you two finally have the kid he's very antsy to hold them, and when he does he almost feels like he's holding the most fragile piece of glass

-He's sad he can't really see them but sometimes his visions show him an older version of y'alls child, he's just happy to be there for them at least.

-The worst fear he has about being a parent is being like his dad, or the other option of his kid suffering a similar fate that he has. He makes sure to keep the fact he has a kid with you a secret.

-David as a parent he's a gentle parent, he fears being similar to his dad and refuses to let his kids know about 'Grandpa'. Infact just for good measure his kids know nothing about grandma either.

-He doesn't care what gender his kid/s are just as long as they're healthy and are living a happy life. He doesn't want them to have a similar life to him and he makes sure to raise them properly

-He's already raised some of the 'Shaw cult' kids, so it's not a hard thing for him to raise his own kids even with the lack of eyes

-After he comes home from the 'family meetings' he'll usually lock himself away for a moment to deal with with all that happened. Another day they won't accept the rest of the family, and he refuses to let his kids see his anger.

-Overall he's a pretty good parent, he can be kind but still strict at times. And luckily he has you to help raise a child with him <3

Random HCs

-David can be kinda touchy when it comes to you, He's always got his arm intertwined with yours or he's holding your hand. He uses the 'excuse' that he loves you being his eyes (cheesy boy)

-He wants to be nothing like his dad so he never really keeps secrets from you, the most he keeps from you is what happens during the family meetings. He doesn't wanna worry you nor does he even wanna talk about it sometimes

-He sometimes will fall asleep on you, you two are just enjoying some comfortable silence and all of a sudden he's asleep resting his head on your shoulder

-He's definitely the type to want to marry you, if he could he'd throw the fanciest wedding ever but he still fears his family somehow finding out and ruining it.

-Just like in your childhood you two are still each others shoulders, you both heal from whatever you've gone through together. Very romantic and kind partner who still has some issues, just be patient with him <3

-alright so in Davids lore he never wanted a kid, but if he does end up having one whether he adopted or not..well he won't hate them.

- I couldn't personally imagine him hating his kid, he'd just think he's being just like his own dad.

-he'll love his daughter no matter what, he just hopes the 'Ambrose' curse won't affect them

-He's raised you to be a good person, he doesn't want you to be anything like his other family members..well if you were like TJ or Tamlin he wouldn't mind but anyone else is off the list.

-very protective of you, especially when you show to have anomalous properties. He doesn't want the Foundation to take you, he knows they will and he'd rather become enemy number one then let them take you

-but the inevitable eventually happens, somehow they learned of your properties. Maybe someone knew David had a kid and thought it would be the same thing as TJ and Claire, maybe someone betrayed him. He doesn't know..

-he only knows that when he came back home you were gone and the house was trashed, a struggle had been left behind.

-now you were at site-17 a pretty safe site at least, you were sat in an empty room just trying to find out where your 'papa' was

-but no one would give you answers, they just kept calling you a number never your real name

-"i'm not 7291! I'm y/n! Please where's my papa!" But the researchers didn't care much for your pleas or your cries

-a certain 05 learned about you though, it took some power to finally learn something about you as well..you looked like *him*

-you looked just like his son, a spitting image of David..a spitting image of him.

-he read the reports of how you only wanted your dad, how you refused to cooperate. How the researchers had decided your 'punishment' for that was to be left alone for days at a time

-he knew he shouldn't of done anything, he should've just put the file down and resumed his duties. But he felt so much regret and hatred for how he treated David..for what he did to his son

-he couldn't free you nor could he request it, he knew doing so would eventually lead to him ending up like his dad.

-so he tried to make your stay a little easier, whatever you requested for your room he'd usually approve. He'd sometimes even visit so you'd have a friend at least.

-he'd only visit when you weren't being bothered by other researcher though, And luckily no one bothered you two since he was an 05

-he'd usually tell you stories and check up on you, maybe even play with ya if that's what you wanted.

-David still hates him though and Mikell will never admit how he's tried to protect you and take care of you. So this is his secret, and eventually he'll find a way to make your stay a lot easier
