been reading an SCP article related to the setting of the new tactical horror game that takes place in the setting (SCP 5K) and
buddy did you really think nobody would notice that you were using an overlay template for AC-130 gunnery footage?
(i know it's not something related to camera lenses bc the AC-130 carries a 25mm Gatling cannon, a 40mm autocannon, and a 105mm short howitzer)
#toaster thoughts#scp fandom#scp 5k#scp-7555#honestly they probably weren't counting on a combat aircraft enthusiast#reading a creative writing project involving cosmic horror#but that's what ya get when you link it to an authenticity-focused tactical shooter

hello! sorry if this is a weird ask.
i’ve been thinking on and off about SCP-7555 for a while now, to the point where i tried writing up a declassification for fun and got maybe 70% of the way to understanding it… and was wondering if you had any creator’s notes/thoughts/hints/etc about 7555? i realize that because it’s lore for SCP: 5K it’s meant to be intentionally vague, but figured it was worth a shot.
(as a big TINAD/55555 fan, a lot of my questions are about that. like, is Metamemetics noösphere-based? is this the TINAD timeline, or some other timeline where they figured out how to deploy WILD LIGHT? is “From me… they took her song” associated with the same people as the other invisible text, and is it meant to be the character whose last words it’s referencing, and if so WTF is he doing there???)
thank you!
To provide you any information which cannot be gleaned from published works about SCP: 5K would unfortunately risk violating my NDA. Also, I'm not really the author of SCP-7555, I just gave it a light spelling and grammar edit before overhauling all of the CSS.
Good luck with your analysis!

Today on “posts comprehensible to literally no one but myself”:
I’m kind of obsessed with SCP:5K (tactical shooter where you play as a UIU agent trying to survive the events of SCP-5000) and the articles on the wiki written to serve as the game’s background lore (specifically SCP-7555, which reveals - I think? - that the events of the game aren’t actually SCP-5000, but rather a sequel to SCP-5000 set in the Antimemetics Division ‘verse), mostly because of its vague two-line implication that Adam Wheeler’s pissed off noöghost is still hanging around the Foundation in 2020.
Like.
> be Adam
> live through a global cataclysm wherein half of the world’s population collectively goes insane and starts doing unspeakable things to the other half
> you’re in the first group
> you snap out of it, eventually. but you will never be able to forget what you did. or how good it felt
> you die trying to help make things right
> you go to hell, which is apparently being trapped in your body forever in horrible, immobilizing pain
> a couple years later, somehow, it ends
> turns out the Foundation just found out that everyone goes to Trapped In Your Body In Horrible Pain Forever Hell after they die. and now they’re trying to kill the entity responsible
> “yeah that’s pretty much where i just came from, and that shit sucked. checks out. where do i sign up”
> spend 0.01 seconds back in reality
> realize everyone (including the Foundation) is carrying on like normal in the bloodied ashes of a genocide they themselves perpetrated - a genocide they have no memory of. people who tortured their friends and neighbors to death three years ago are happily working and playing amidst the ruin and decay and piled-up corpses they’re selectively filtering out of their vision. you’re the only one who remembers. you’re the only one who has to carry the guilt
> “okay this is fucked up but how are you guys planning to kill the hell entity anyway”
> “so we’re trying to bring this really cool eldritch god into existence to kill it. there’s also another god we’re potentially interested in, though”
> first eldritch god was the catalyst for the original genocide, and will inevitably cause a second genocide if it enters into our world again. the Foundation will have to intentionally commit a genocide of its own just to manifest it. they consider this acceptable. violence begets violence. the cycle begins anew
> second eldritch god is your ex-wife.
> (your ex-wife is now God, for reasons only tangentially related. except part of her might actually be you? it’s kind of an ex-wife of theseus situation. don’t worry about it.)
> also it turns out Trapped In Your Body In Horrible Pain Forever Hell isn’t real, you just overdosed on some weird drugs at a barbecue whose side effects perfectly mimic the experience of being sent to superhell
#scp#there is no antimemetics division#scp: 5k#whyd i make this a greentext…#obviously taking some liberties here#(namely the SCP-2718 explanation for SCP-5000#and the class z mnestics working the same for him as they did for Marion)#(and… the fact that adam is there at all honestly.)#but also. this is a shitpost

《Allure》SCP-049 x SCP-OC
Author’s note: Look, if you happened to stumble upon this, you can either 1)ignore it or 2)read it. The story itself is very random and cringe, as this is mainly for my own entertainment purpose. If you chose to read it, then good luck and try not to cringe :} The characters are completely free-formed.
(SCP-049 belongs to its rightful owner. I only own SCP-7555 [as an original character], the picture is not mine either.)
.
.
A flock of heavily-armored guards marched by the cold, insipid hall, guiding an anthropomorphic, normally despondent entity. His robes flow gracefully as the group travels, arm and neck being firmly locked under restraints, the squeaking of leather boots came in contact with the coherer surface, creating clattering footsteps in the hollow hallway.
The half-pseudo doctor's head slightly droops, wondering about the possibility of the unknown company he's going to visit. He had been told that the stranger's classification is still pending, and will be informed once the classification is set before his visit. He would be worried if the creature is somewhat mischievous, that or it possessed an aggressive behavior. Until he could continue on his wailing thoughts, the group came to an abrupt stop as they had arrived at the entrance.
"Alright, SCP-049, listen up. Once you entered, you will be listening to the instructions of the higher-ups. Any uncooperative or suspicious activity and will not end well. Understood?" The head guard spoke to SCP-049 as a normal guard would speak to a D-class. Despite wanting to reply defiantly, the doctor recollect his bottled anger and nodded. 'Not the time to lash out.' He strictly reminded himself. The guard then swiped his keycard on the card reader. The metal door whirred open as the anomalous doctor was being released. Once he was fully inside the chamber, the door shut with a loud bang.
His aureate eyes scanned around the chamber, only to be met by sub-aquatic sight, with a few crystal-like ice structures. One could've mistaken the place as an immersed heaven or a glaciated empyrean. Truly a fascinating sight. Just as the doctor was dazed in these ravishing places, an ice sculpture, no, a creature blended in these exquisite areas caught his eye.
A colossal, glistening snake-like creature emerged from beyond, its diamond carvings emitting aurora veils as its pure white slits glanced down at the doctor. The creature's head-to-tail is undoubtedly pulchritudinous. By the look of it, the serpent seems to be approximately the length of an Argentinosaurus.
The plague doctor stood there, completely stunned and taken off guard by the sudden presence of the new SCP. Assuming the SCP is much more hazardous than the hard-to-kill reptile, he surrenders under the creature's presence, accepting his fate without withdrawing.
A few moments passed, but nothing happen. SCP-049's eye remains shut. A soft hiss was heard, then the doctor felt it lick his beak. He stiffened at the sudden touch. The next thing he knows he was being wrapped. He understood this was part of a snake's preying process. The anomaly, however, just simply wanted to rest itself with its new companion. A while later, the tense doctor relaxes with the snake, knowing the snake is no threat to him. The resting soon turned into cuddling. SCP-049 rubbed the snake's scaled body, while the snake nuzzles itself into the doctor's semi-cold fabric.
After a few minutes, the intercom rang, requesting the two of them to be parted. The snake obliged, much to the doctor's dismay. Oh, how he wishes this embrace could've lasted forever, leaving his nuisances behind, including 'The Great Pestilence' he seeks to cure.
"SCP-7555, please proceed to guide SCP-049 around your habitat." SCP-7555 looked back at SCP-049, its tail gesturing to the doctor to ride it. SCP-049 climbed and latched onto SCP-7555's neck where the snake's large pectoral fins were (also identified as a cobra hood due to the specific design and similar shape).
SCP-7555 began gliding through their habitat, while the SCP-049 gazed at the sight in awe. He'd dreamt to ride a dragon while he was a juvenile just like the fairy tales he'd read. Although this far-fetched wish was to be scrapped afterward, it's still a miracle of fulfilling it.
SCP-7555 eventually shot a breath from its jaw, lighting up its entire habitat with its significant colors, it was truly icing on the cake. All of SCP-049′s thoughts and depressive episodes were now dismissed, replaced with admiration and he was on cloud nine. No curing patients, no pestilence. Just a pure and delightful sight for sore eyes.
If this were to be a dream, he would hope for it to be endless...
.
.
.
Soon, the dreamy ride around SCP-7555's habitat had come to an end. SCP-049 slide down the serpent's body, stabling himself. The intercom rang yet again. "SCP-7555, thank you for your cooperation. SCP-049, you were permitted to remain with SCP-7555 for as long as you requested, or be escorted back to your chamber until the very next cross-testing event. You may make the decision."
"...Yes. I would like to stay with SCP-7555."
After all, who wouldn't want to stay in such an ideal place with such a quintessential companion, if given a chance?

Motionin. Joy. Mapper. Shock. 8) к ПК, для удобной игры в любые игры.

Ah, so that's how it is... That memeplex really do be going places. The title makes sense now
Still, if the only reason why 7555 wasn't featured in admonition is because It features a repeat antagonist, then so does 6820, so I'm really not sure what the deal was. The sole other discrepancy is that the anomaly isn't made by SCPF, but the rest of the vibes check out.
Love TINAD references btw

7555 was a paid work commissioned by Affray Interactive to tie into the lore of their flagship game SCP: 5K. My boss actually wrote the article before I started working with Affray and was heavily inspired by Admonition at time of writing. I later worked on a soft rewrite / reformat of the article and so my name was added. It takes place in an entirely different timeline and is not relevant to the admonition series.
