Not gonna lie, Act 3 felt as if Riley was going to either chase Scout or do a Homer, hahaha.

There were so many scenes that I loved, but this one was it for me. That's the proper way to hold a rat gremlin/j

It was so much fun re-reading "Scout and the Rambunctious Lab Rhyme." There were so many Game dialogue references, and the "Mortimer Adopted a Gremlin" was perfect!

I cannot wait to read ACT 4 for the thrilling conclusion. Who knows, maybe the Rat Gremlin will be a lucky gremlin for Riley!

Here’s the long awaited draw your squad I promised you all. Come up with your theories of what did Scout say, do, or both. I might do a digital version of this drawing down the road.

I’ll start with my theory:

Scout: Oh I see! You both don’t want to admit you are actually an attention-seeking golden retriever to Riley while she’s your feisty black cat.

Nick and Riley: (Shocked Angry, but Embarrassed. Probably plotting to rip Scout’s guts out.)

Daisy: Can we please change the subject?

Visual Aid for Scout's Bedrooms in Act 3

Here are the Visual Aids for the Scout's bedrooms that will be featured in Act 3. This took me forever, and I’m posting these to spare everyone from downloading so many CC and paying thousands of bucks on The Sims 4 (Paralives 2025, Please!). The best way to describe the house is if Bear’s Big Blue House was a Big Gray Victorian Mansion. Be free to use these Sims 4 screenshots for any fake fan screenshots.

Right now, Scout's bedroom may feel empty, but it's going to get messy as time goes on.

Since @ericaportfolio mentioned “Francis Nack” the inspiration of Helluva Boss (do NOT watch that show if you’re under 18 or lower!), I can absolutely see Nick and Riley working together as a team to escape from Francis, and Nick needed to sing “Look at This!” as a distraction. And I also made a reference from Helluva Boss season 2 episode 6 in the second picture. And here’s a doodle of Riley and Scout. XD

I put “Riley and Nick’s Grand Escape” as an episode name in Mortimer’s Handeemen Season 3. I couldn’t think of other names to call it, but I’m curious to know what you think or what episode title name I should have call.

Also, I could see Nick and Riley singing “Addict from Hazbin Hotel” together (those under 18, do NOT watch that either!). I don’t know why, but now I can’t get that out of my head!

Hey so I’ve seen your hello puppets x welcome home au (which is really good btw) and wanted to ask a question.

So I assume the hello puppets puppets don’t have hosts (as that would be suspicious af to the welcome home ensemble) so how do you think they got legs exactly?

And yes, the hello puppets puppets don't have hosts! I'm sort of fucking with the lore here, but the early chapters are set pre-Owen bringing the puppets fully to life, and then Owen's mission sort of coincides with the rest of the story that will be going on!

This means the puppets, including the Welcome Home gang, are semi-sentient i guess? They can act and think for themselves somewhat when they aren't performing, but aren't aware that they're puppets, and they're sort of pre-scripted into their actions through their role on the show. They only really "wake up" through the ritual being completed on them - and therefore they tend to become homicidal and vengeful because they've just realised that they've been forced into performing when they could've been free (in regards to the hello puppets gang).

Once they wake up, they require a host in order to siphon off their energy and stay conscious of the meta narrative, or they risk going back into that pilant, docile state. So the puppets themselves have legs, but their host is attached at their back instead, and they use them to walk around the human world.

The other puppets that are still docile won't realise that there's a host their fully because of the lack of ritual, but will notice odd behaviours and smells!
