Just a question. What difference does it make if the Ruby is placed in Infinites eye instead of his chest? Does he get new abilities? Maybe this has been explained before and I didn't see.

Also poor fella. He's giving up his body parts for a ruby. Thats a lil insane. doesn't he think he's going too far? Kinda shows how power hungry he is. And does Scourge ever question the massive scar thats on his chest? Or asks Infinite why he wears that cloth around his face and is curious to what he looks like underneath? My dawg has an X shaped bald spot😔

so as the au has developed, the one who brought infinite back was actually eggman nega, who had heard about him via silver (eavesdropping/spying) after some time travel shenanigans i guess. nega found a way to revive infinte and aimed to sort of "remake" him for his own purposes, so he removed the ruby from his chest and basically started over. he was the one who removed infinite's eye--it was blind anyway--and replaced it with the smaller version of the ruby, which had been modified. unfortunately scourge broke him out before the process was finished, so infinite doesnt really have full control over the ruby anymore, and it actually fucks with him all the time--sometimes it even acts on its own and creates terrible illusions for both him and those within a certain radius around him. my friend who ive been developing the au with call it his trauma aoe LMFAO

so so so, shy!grunge/goth!fem!reader x tim. reader and tim have been dating for like a year and reader has never met his friends, (Angela, Lucy, John, Bailey, Aaron, Westley, Nyla) and one day, let's say they solved a really hard case and they're all having a little party and yea. Tim is like, hey, why don't you come with me to the party and you can meet everyone? readers like, 'um, no, I'd rather eat my own eyes' bc readers shy and nervous that they'd hate her. eventually, tim convinces reader (bribes r with strawberries) and she agreed to go. so it's the day of the party, she's stressing, like, what do I wear? okg im a mess. eventually reader decides what to wear (maybe something like dis? https://shffls.com/shuffles/5377004965181053313/?sender_id=1086352878773240172) and they go. the whole car ride r is like bouncing their leg and nervous af, and then they get there, r is basically hiding behind tim, and everyone loves r. Angela and r are like instant best friends, and yea. like they're all asking questions, and r is answering them nervously and eventually r calms down, and they all are chill

also I thought that this might be helpful in some way ig. r likes darker things like cemeteries but instantly melts for strawberries and sharks. r makes jokes a lot, r loves sleeping but can't fall asleep, loves Halloween, rocks, rain, stuff like that. u can completely ignore some of the stuff like this and what I thought of for the outfit if you want to and yea, drink water, eat food, don't forget to breathe (happens a lot😔)

I'm very into systems interacting in comics, and systems in comics in general, and while it doesn't happen often, it does happen still!

One of the best relationships between 2 systems is the relationship between Sentry and Hulk. Before Devil Hulk came around in comics, it was Sentry who was written as Hulk's replacement father figure. And the two have a complicated relationship. Sentry has helped the Hulk to be his best self, but him leaving put Hulk back into the ire of the public. Hulk trusts and loves Sentry unconditionally, and Sentry's used this against Hulk for his own personal gains. When Hulk wanted to go rampage on Earth, it was only Sentry that could stop him, and they both ended up in a stand still.

I know Sentry's comics aren't everyone's cup of tea, but I think his solo stories are some of the best system and psychotic character stories I've ever read in a comic. It's just real unfortunate that whenever he's a part of a bigger book, that his writing goes into the drain real fast, except for Annihilation: Scourge.

Another good system meet up, that's easy to overlook, is the Ghost Rider and Typhoid Mary team up in Marvel Presents 124-130. Danny Ketch and Noble Kale might not be like a real life system in the way that Danny is literally possessed, but everything in how that possession works is like a system. They have amnesia, each other's emotions and memories bleed onto each other, they dissociate, and they have a literal headspace. (And the way Howard Mackie wrote the two is very similar to how he wrote Ventriloquist and Scarface in his Batman: Black and White story.) But there's no bigger sign that Danny and Noble are system adjacent than in their duo story with Typhoid, where Ann Nocentti spells out that they are basically the same in that respect.

Ann Nocentti's Typhoid Mary, and the rest of her system, is one of my favorite sexual abuse survivors in comics. Just from the way that she's written and grows and how her morals are challenged and changed, I get why Ann Nocentti dedicated Mary's solo to mentally ill people. And this duo story has some of the best parts of each character's stories, and Ann Nocentti's amazing writing to bind it all together.

The system meet up I most want to happen is Bruce or Hulk and Jeanne-Marie or Aurora meeting up. I waited for that to happen all of Immortal Hulk, since he was hanging out with a lot of the Alpha Flight gang, and than it just never happened 😔

i really need to see systems interacting with each other in marvel because we are a community. we have been rebelling against medicalism by meeting up and comparing experiences for decades. i want to see Moon Knight teaming up with Aurora or Mary Walker+Typhoid Mary+Bloody Mary and just relating to each other. something media fails to represent about plurality is that we are a people and not a disorder. Plurality is seldom represented but there's so many canon plurals in the marvel universe that this should be happening.
