Scotr is taking off his glasses/visor and raining lasers on the shadows demon dragon, while Reader is busy building a trap for it. Dragon Sinister is screeching as he's burnt up, hissing and trying to eat the two of them-

Until Reader tells Scott the trap is ready, Scott blinds Sinister, and then a golden net is tossed over the dragon, dragging him into a deep pit...

They then get Morph to enchant it to be unbreakable, Storm to cover it in snow and freeze it over with ice, it's laced up and locked with lightning, metal, and lava, and everyone hides it, so nonome tries to free Sinisiter....

(They maybe let Logan and Magneto conk him over the head too, to keep Sinister asleep or dead) (Xavier puts him a forever coma, trapped in his own nightmares and darkest secrets, as punishment for all he did)

( Yaya dark fairy tale ending for villains! At least his stomach wasn't cut open and filled with rocks! Or forced to dance in red hot iron shoes until he fell over dead. Or had his eyes plucked out by birds. So. Yeah... Forever coma isn't all that bad, I think...)

#686 Abd’s Heroics goes in vain as Bumrah and Malinga No-Ball help MI win a thriller; Warner and Rashid help SRH beat RR in a high scoring match; CSK continue the dream run by beating DC with ease; Russell again the match winner for KKR as they top the points table; Finch and Maxwel star as they lead the 5 match series 4-0 against Pakistan; Federer sets Miami open finals clash against Isner and more..:-)

CSK faced DC in Delhi for their 2nd match. Dhawan played well when he took his team past 100 inside 13 overs. Scotre of 170+ was looking oncards with Pant being on other end. Bravo though changed the match. He dismissed Pant and Ingram in one over. Dhawan and Paul also were dismissed soon after. DC were reduced to 127-6 from 120-2. That gave momentum to CSK. They reduced DC to just 147-6.  Though Ishant dismissed Rayadu early, Watson ripped apart DC lineup. His 26 ball 44 gave CSK foundation. Though DC took match till the last over, it was clear CSK won win again. Yellow IPL giants rock again.

KKR hosted Punjab XI. Narine and Lynn didn’t score too many as KKR were reduced to 36-2. Uthappa and Rana then played brilliantly to have 100 plus stand. Rana fell just inside 15th over. KKR 146-3. His 2nd consecutive fifty had given KKr the momentum. Shami had castled Russell when he had just made 3 runs.  But only 3 bowlers were inside the circle . So it was declared as no ball. He then blasted 45 runs in next 12 balls. That turned the tide for KKR as they made 218-4. Uthappa made 67 from 50. Ferguson dismissed Rahul early. Russel grabbed the big fish Gayle. Though Mayank and Miller’s fifties gave Punjab hope, they fell short by 28 runs. Difference was Russell innings again for KKR.

RCB chose to bowl first against MI in their first home match. Quinton and Rohit took MI past 50 inside 7 overs before Chahal castled former. MI 54-1. Rohit played brilliantly. Just when he was about to get another IPl fifty, Umesh dismissed him. MI 87-2. Yuvi gave some brilliant memories as he hit Chahal for 3 consecutive sixes. Chahal would have felt like Broad but in next ball, he dismissed Yuvi. That gave RCB some momentum. From 123-2, MI were reduced to 147-7. Chahal grabbed 4 of 7 wickets. In last 17 balls, Hardik went crazy as he hit 32 runs to take MI to 187-8. RCB had genuine chance to dismiss MI for under 165. Moeen and Parthiv opened for RCB. Ali was runout early on. Kohli hit 3 back to back boundaries of Bumrah. He and Parthiv took RCB past 50. Markhande then dismissed Parthiv. RCB 67-2. He could have dismissed ABD of first ball but Yuvi dropped a tough chance in slip. These 2 then had 49 run stand in 6 overs before Bumrah dismissed Kohli for 46. RCb 116-3. ABD needed support. He didn’t get it as Hetmeyer and Grandhomme struggled against Bumrah. It came down to 61 from last 5 overs. ABD hit Malinga for 20 runs. It came down to 41 from 24. Bumrah just gave 1 run in next over and dismissed Hetmeyer. RCb needed 40 from 3 overs. ABD hit Pandya out of the park as 18 came in 18th over. It came down to 22 form last 2 overs. Bumrah bowled out of his skin again as RCb just managed 5 runs in 19th over. Shivam Dube hit six of the first ball. 11 needed from 4 balls. Malinga then bowled 4 very good balls as it came down to 7 from last ball. RCb needed six from last ball to force a super over. Malinga just gave 2 runs. Umpire made a blunder here as it was a no ball. It would have come down to 4 from last ball with ABD facing Malinga in a free hit ball. RCb were unlucky but that’s how RCb have been in thrillers in last 3 years. They never cross the line. Kohli was vividly angry with the umpire that he couldn’t notice such a big no ball. Bumrah was the difference between the 2 sides. His last 3 overs were all class.

SRH hosted RR in Hyderabad. Both hadlost their first matches. Rashid castled Butler early on for just 5 runs. Butler had faced Rashid for 10 balls in IPL, scored 4 runs and has been dismissed 4 times. Rashid definitely has Butler’s number. Sanju Samson and Rahane took RR forward with aggressive display. Rahane started slowly as he just made run a ball 22 . He reached 50 of 40 balls. He eventually got out for 49 ball 70. Sanju Samson played like a dream. He scored 102 from 55 balls which had 10 fours and 4 sixes. It was a class innings. He is very consistent in IPL but he has never translated that form in Ranji trophy.  RR made 198-2 in 20 overs. They scored 76 runs in last 5 overs. Bhuvi leaked runs again in slog overs.  SRH needed a brisk start. Warner gave exactly that.SRH reached 54-0 in first 5 overs. Warner scored 45 of those. Warner was in dangerous mood. He and Bairstow continued the rampage after powerplay. RCB slowed down after powerplay but Warner continued their run. They reached 100 in 9th over. Warner was eventually dismissed for 37 ball 69. Bairstow soon fell for 49. Shankar’s 15 ball 35 took SRH closer to victory. Though Shreyas Gopal gave RR hope by dismissing Shankar and Manish in the same over, SRH won by 1 over. Difference between 2 sides has been Rashid who controlled RR in powerplay. He was declared Man of the match.

In 3rd ODi, Finch showed his class again. His 90 and 55 ball 77 by Maxwell gave Australia a very good score of 266-6. It was 20 runs too many for Pakistan. Pakistan were never in the game . Cummins ripped apart top order. Zampa took 4 tailenders wickets. Australia dismissed Pakistan for 186.  Australia are on a roll now. They have now won 6 games in a row.

In 4th ODI, Australia batted first again. They were well placed at 56-0 before they had a mini collapse. Imad Wasim and co reduced Australia to 140-5. Maxwell then took Pakistan apart again with 82 ball 98. They eventually made 277-7. Carey scored fifty too.  144 run 3rd wicket stand between Abid Ali and Rizwan gave Pakistan hope of a rare ODI victory against Australia. Zampa dismissed Abid for 112. Pakistan middle order and tail wilted under pressure. They needed 22 from last 2 overs and 17 from last over. Rizwan century went in vain as Pakistan lost by 6 runs. Australia won their 7th match in a row. They have best momentum ahead of World cup.

In Miami open Djokovic was shocked by Bautista Agut in pre QF. He won first set 6-1 but lost next 2 sets 7-5 6-3. This is 2nd time that Serbian legend has lost to Bautista in this year. Bautista though lost to Isner in QF. In other QF, Shapovalov outclassed Tifoe in 3 sets. He would face Federer in SF who humiliated Anderson in straight sets 6-0 6-4. In final QF, qualifier Auger Aliassame upset Coric 7-6 6-2.  19 year old Auger was youngest winner of a challenger event at 16 and youngest to defend at 17. If he wins this title this week, he could enter top 20.  In SF, Auger was serving for the set at 5-3 and 5-4 in first and 2nd set respectively. Isner broke back on both the occasions. He won both the set in tiebreakers to reach finals. Defending champion would now face Federer in finals who outclassed Shapovalov 6-2 6-4 in other SF. Auger would reach 33 world ranking for this effort. He would be first player born post 2000 to reach top 50 in men’s tennis.

#471 Priceless Victory for PV Sindhu in Korean Open finals; New World number 2 becomes first Indian to win Korean open; 'Thala' Dhoni and 'Hurricane' Pandya seal victory for India against Australia in Chennai in WHISTLE-PODU style; Braithwaite again torments England in T20, this time with bowling; India lose doubles tie against Canada and have a mountain to climb now and more...:-)

It was repeat of World Championship finals in Korean open super series finals. Pv Sindhu faced Okuhara in finals. Okuhara lead head to head 4-3. Can they recreate epic of World championship finals? First set indicated it was almost history repeated. Rallies were long. There was a 42 shot rallies, bunch of 30 + shot rallies. Game 1 was like a pendulum. Both lead at some point.  Okuhara was the one who grabbed advantage to lead 20-18. Thats when PV Sindhu was at her ruthless best to win 4 points in a row. She tried a few cross handed whip shots which rattled Okuhara a bit. 2nd set was all World champion who won the set 21-11 to level the match. Though Okuhara tried hard in final set, PBV Sindhu just kept things under her control. She consistently lead by 2-3 points. She eventually elad 19-16. That became 20-18 before PV SIndhu became first Indian to win Korean Open Super Series. It had its moments which showed that match was of its highest class. Winners won more points than errors which was the main reason for that.PV SIndhu is on a roll and Indians cant have enough of her. WIth this win, PV SIndhu has become World number 2 player. Thats icing on the cake.

India had a mountain to climb in Davis cup doubles. Rohan Bopanna and raja faced veterans duo Pospisil and Nestor. Indians fought hard but eventually lost 5-7 5-7 7-5 3-6 in a match that lasted 2 hours 54 minutes. India now need to win both the reverse singles which looks virtually impossible. Crazy things have happened in Davis cup for India. Ramanathan and Yuki are in good form but to expect them to win the reverse singles would be too much to ask for. In 1992, Paes and Krishnan created the biggest upset by beating Boestche and Leconte in final day reverse singles in Paris. Yuki and Ramanthan need to probably watch those 2 matches for inspiration.

India chose to bat in Chennai. India picked Rahane and Kuldeep. That meant KL rahul and Jadeja would not be playing.India had a disastrous start in conditions where Coulter Nile and Cummins were getting the ball to swing. From 11-0, India were reduced to 11-3 in the space of  overs. Coulter picked all 3 wickets. Kohli and Pandey were out for ducks. Maxwell’s catch to dismiss Kohli was a blinder, probably catch of the season so far. It could have been 11-4 had SMith not dropped Rohit. Rohit and Jadhav played out a bit cautiously in next few overs. They brought up 50 plus stand. Just when it looked like India would up the run rate, Stoinis dismissed Rohit with a bouncer. Jadhav could have run Dhoni out . That impacted his focus. He was out very next ball. India 87-5 and not even 22 overs was bowled. Pandya joined a bit too early for his liking. He and DHoni started rotating the strike well. Smith dropped Pandya also when he was just 16. Pandya made Australia pay. Dhoni would just give Pandya the strike as MI all rounder was in blazing form. There was not too many boundaries but runs were coming in good speed. India were 146-5 at the end of 35th over. Smith gave Zampa one over too many and Pandya made him pay. 24 runs were scored in 37th over which had 3 sixes and 1 four. Smith gave another over to Zampa. He dismissed Pandya for 83 which was his highest score. But he had pulled India out of a hole. Off 118 runs partnership, Pandya had scored 83. He had laid platform for India to get scotre enar to 250-260. Bhuvi continued his good form. He and Dhoni hit some lust blows. 83 runs was scored of last 10 overs. 53 was scored of last 5 overs. Dhoni scored his 100th international fifty. What a player!!. He got out in penultimate ball. 281 score was great comeback after ebing at 87-5. Bhuvi’s 32 runs were valuable as well. It started raining after Indian innings ended.Match was reduced to 21 overs game. Target was 164. That looked simple for Australia. But it was not that easy with overcast conditions. Bumrah and Bhuvi used conditions brilliantly early on. Both hardly gave any room to Warner and Cartwright to free their arms. They just managed 13 of 3 overs.Bhuvi castled Cartwright who just managed 1 of 7 balls. Post that Smithjoined Warner. Smith escaped a close LBW call. 3rd umpire gave in favor of Smith. But he got dismissed of very next ball. Pandya the bowler and Bumrah the catcher. It was brilliant skier which Bumrah caught. He made it look so easy. Pandya dismissed Head in his next over. Kuldeep dismissed big fish Warner. Australia 35-4 of 8 overs. They had no momentum whatsoever. Australia did a mistake by not sending Maxwell to open with Warner. MAxwell showe dthem why. He kept Australia intrested. he did to Kuldeep what Pandya did to Zampa by hitting 3 sixes and 1 boundary in an over. But of very next over of Chahal , MAxwell was dismissed. His 39 of 1 gave hope to Australia. AUstralia 76-6. With that Australia lost the plot and eventually the match. India won the match by 27 runs. Pandya is the man of the match. He cant do anything wrong nowadays !!

In lone T20 between WI and ENgland, gayle and Lewis gave WI a roaring start. Both had 77 run stand in first 7 overs. Gayle scored 40 of 21. Lewis continued his dream run with a 28 ball 51. Though WI found it tough after these 2 were dismissed, they still scored 176. It looked 15 runs short on a batting beauty. Plunkett and Rashid picked 3 wickets each. Roy was dismissed off first ball. His poor run continued. Hales and Root then had 64 runs stand in 6 overs. But once Hales was dismissed for 43 of Braithwaite, ENgland lost the plot. Root and Morgan got out in quick sucession. ENgland were 68-4 all of a sudden from 64-1. Butler and Bairstow then brought England back. But it was Braithwaite again who turned the match. He dismissed Butler. ENgland collapsed to 155 allout from 118-4. If it was Braithwaite’s 4 sixes which hurt ENgland in last year’s T20 world cup, it was his 3-fer which hurt them this time. WI just keeps finding way to win in T20.
