Studyblr introduction!

Hey guys! I’m Rylie and, after a long time of just admiring the studyblr community, it’s finally come to the time when I finally decide to make one and join this wonderful community! I wanted to start this blog in order to enhance my productivity and motivation, finish off my high school years on a good note, and start college with a fresh mind. I’m definitely looking forward to becoming a part of this community and meeting many lovely people! :)

I’m currently in my junior year of high school ♡

I’m very, very much in love with coffee and stationery ♡

I’m originally from the Philippines, but have been living in the US for a while now ♡

Once I finish high school, I’m planning to go to university and major in cultural anthropology! ♡

Hobbies/Interests:

Books (I really love poetry books and YA Lit books, some faves are Eleanor & Park, The Sun Is Also A Star, and Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe)

Romantic comedy movies! (and lots and lots of Netflix)

Stationery (I could live in the stationery aisle for the rest of my life)

Eating, sleeping, listening to music (a mix of Kpop, American pop music, and Latino jams), and playing tennis

Traveling (I wanna travel to so many places omg)

What's your motivation?

I want to at least document myself studying for this year, in hopes that I grow motovated enough to at least study this time.

I see a lot of Studyblrs on here almost everyday when I go on Tumblr and I enjoy a lot of the content that I wanted to try it for myself.

Really just wanted to get higher grades than I used to get. So I have to force myself to have this kind of challenge to really push me. uwu

I take up Chinese as a requirement in my school but I sstudy different languages on the side.

I do art from time to time, I thought it would be nice to mix my studyblr with my art.

Generally, don't expect me to be soft aesthetic with expensive stationary and clean notes. I onky use the cheapest materials i can get, I spend all my money on art materials and useless things, but we'll see. uwo

hello, beautiful studyblr community! i used to be part of you back in 2016 at @dudatries, but i got too busy with high school drama to keep doing it and kinda forgot about it. now at uni i got back into bullet journaling and, after doing it for a while, i realized how much i miss studyblr and how it used to give me a lot of creativity. so, here i am! unfortunately though i forgot my old acc’s email, hence why i created a brand new blog. so, let me reintroduce myself!

Lil Hopeful Student

Hi guys ! I already wrote an introduction text but I’m rewriting one because I wasn’t quite satisfied with the old one.

So my name is Océanne ([osean]), I’m 20 years old and I’m from France. I wanted to start this studyblr to actually motivate myself through my revisions and studies (like most of us I guess). However, I don’t really “study” at the moment, meaning I don’t physically go to school. The last two years, I studied something I thought I was into, but I actually wasn’t. I went to two universities, first studying French literature then Linguistics, and quitted, because, even though I thought for years that I was made for those paths, I wasn’t.

So now, I’m actually studying to pass entrance exams to Speech Therapy schools. As I said, I’m not going to a real school, I’m learning with books and workbooks that  bought online to study. And it’s, in fact, reaaally difficult for me, not to learn, but to motivate myself to get my ass off my bed and work. But hey, I want to nail those exams, that I will take in three different cities, from February to May, so I’m going to work, work, work. And hopefully, the studyblr community will help me, even though it’s through pictures and masterposts.

Honestly I just go through the #bujocommunity tag and use that as inspo! Loved this @scienttia page that included a simple sleep tracker. My sleeping pattern is something that baffles me. Usually I wake up between 6-7am no matter what time I went to bed the night before 😢
