I know there are a few of you out there who find the idea of a bedtime story like Goodnight Moon somewhat appealing, but the execution less so, whether because of its old-fashioned references or eye-popping colours. Well FEAR NOT, intrepid parents and caregivers! With Marisabina Russo's "The Bunnies Are Not In Their Beds" (2007), I think we may have your problem solved! This slightly more modern bedtime tale takes an aesthetic style and gentle approach similar to that timeless classic, but adds a bit of mischief, some lovely sound effects, and a slightly broader colour palette that's a little easier on the eyes, all to wonderfully humorous effect.
