Here's something I learned about TEACHING. Relationship is vital. You will always learn best from someone you have a connection with. Believe it or not, students rarely learn from teachers they don't like. That's what God taught me both in discipling and educating others. You learn to laugh with them. You learn to apologize when you're wrong. And you teach them with hearts that believe they can reach their best potentials. When @doxacebu went to a convention in Bohol, we had a trip to the amazing Chocolate Hills with their parents. It was raining hard. These students rushed up the hills regardless of the rain and with the permission of their parents of course. I went with them although that felt unconventional at the moment. But because I love experiencing moments with them, I rushed and played with them in the rain. This taught me how teaching goes beyond the classroom and learning can happen everywhere. When it was time to go back to school, we had more interaction and learning experiences than anyone.
