Thousands of ceramic #poppies a sea of red commemorating the 888,246 British personnel who lost their lives in the Great War of 1914-1918. Dead Man's Hole. This site was formerly used to retrieve the many corpses that were thrown into the river from the TowerOfLondon and surrounding districts.
