I just finished the amazing book King of Battle and Blood by Scarlett St. Clair and can i just say… wow. First, I LOVE the character Isolde, our fearless female protagonist! This woman is not weak! She is powerful, cunning, determined and resilient. She is a woman who knows her own mind and can fight for herself and those she loves. When she meets Adrian (umm our book boyfriend dream), she maintains her defiance resulting in this amazing slow-burn romance! Scarlett St. Clair's writing is masterful and I can't wait to continue this story.

I am so obsessed with this series, I finished the first 3 in 2 days 😭 terrible mistake considering the next one isn’t out until later this year! I absolutely fell in love with the characters, especially Hermes. He has made me laugh out loud more times than I can count!

Now to start A Game of Fate!

Congrats on Mountain Made of Glass getting released as a Paperback!!! Do you know if Bloom has picked up the others to be released as paperback (I know you haven’t written them yet)

I'm not sure how the roll out of ebook/paperback will go. I'm assuming this time it will be simultaneous.

A Touch of Ruin by Scarlett St. Clair

A Touch of Darkness's sequel. I'm not happy with either the main character's or the plot's character development. Hades is still flawless, and I wish he would display a defect or two to make things more intriguing. Their love connection is in a state of disarray. It's still entertaining, and the issues I had with it were all related to Persephone. She makes a lot of dumb decisions, and her errors are very infuriating. I'm hoping that by the third book, she has matured into a lot more mature character, since I really want to like this series despite the continual back and forth that dragged my pleasure down a little bit.

★ What is a must-have in the books you read? For me, it’s a compelling romance. I actually used to be incredibly romance-adverse because I believed the stigma that’s been created around it. Ugh. This didn’t change until I realized the stories I loved the most were the ones with the best romances.
