   ❛ and I sent you some of those heart eye emojis. only a couple more days until we’re reunited again. ❜ arizona found it to be rather difficult to travel away from home, especially when it meant that she would need to spend time apart from calliope. it was for a patient which meant that she expected her to understand the reasoning behind her decisions. didn’t have much of a choice. she had a difficult time flying by herself, but always made sure she had things to keep her mind occupied.

“Yeah, you don’t say,” Will grumbles not without sarcasm, glasses pushed up onto his forehead as he rubs at his face. They’re in the living area of his secluded home, his seven dogs dotted about the space. Will’s about three whiskeys deep, and has no plans of stopping just yet.

He can’t get shooting serial killer Garret Jacob Hobbs to death out of his head. It’s the first time he’s ever killed anyone. Will even lost his job as a homicide detective due to the inability to use his gun when necessary, how does he wind up unloading into a suspect? He’s traumatized from the event, but it’s how good killing Hobbs felt that’s fucking him up. It’s something he’s not about to admit to.

It had been years since Addison had seen Callie Torres. Of course they had stayed in contact through email and texts, but in person, not for years. When Addison found out about the divorce and Callie’s move to New York, she had upped her communication, just so Callie knew she was there for her. But with a strike of luck, Addison had been requested for a surgery in New York. 

She had finished up at the hospital and headed straight for the restaurant where she had agreed to meet Callie, squealing in delight the minute she saw her. “Callie!” She called happily, reaching out for her friend. “Oh god! It’s been too long.”
